This Starbucks is located in Santa Maria right off the 101 freeway and Main street. It is easy access specially if you're passing by town. The parking lot I can't be a little bit tricky to get into but otherwise it's location is very convenient to get in and out of from the freeway. Overall it's a fairly standard Starbucks in the best way possible. Everything is what you would expect and there's no surprises. I've been there couple times now and nothing has ever gone wrong. Be sure to download the Starbucks app so you can mobile order your food and drinks so it can be waiting for you once you get to the store. I'm generally pretty impatient so I don't like to wait but I'm also fine where my drinks don't have to be in peak heat/cold so luckily this is a great option for me. The team here is nice and hospitable. It's a great option if you're looking for a Starbucks in the area. read more

Husband went through drive thru and I took the kids out to eat their granola bars outside of the car. One of the kids in went to ask for water and they sent him out since he hadn't purchased anything. I've never had Starbucks turn down a request for water, I know it's a terrible habit, but they have good water‍. I was surprised and told him to go in and tell them we are purchasing, just through the drive through, but he was scared to The 5 stars is because I got in the car as husband was just leaving drive thru and they randomly handed him a dragon lemonade! Which really hit the spot read more

First of all they take forever to finish online orders and they take forever to hand you straws for drinks that need them like the popping pearl drinks. When they don't have a certain food item they either leave the package empty and take forever to help you with it or they just give you the wrong item, that is not what I am paying for. read more

Biggest mistake coming here. Slowest fucking drive through service Iv seen. For simple coffee. Would never come back.

Jordan at the window was sooo nice and apologized for the wait because both their espresso bars went out at once and was so kind. we didn't even notice the wait. also gave us cake pops to apologize. super chill read more

Everyone here moves at a snail's pace. Don't come here if you want your coffee in a decent timely manner

Service was excellent, such a friendly staff! I stopped in to purchase a cup, and the barista helped me find just what I was looking for! I really appreciate her going above and beyond. Thanks Ashley :) I didn't stop by for a drink, but I will definitely try one next time. The store smelled so good. read more

Putting in online orders is pointless considering they're never done when one arrives. Driving up to the window, you would expect to be acknowledged, but you're not until they give you your drink to send you on your way. I don't think I will be going to this location anymore. read more

Very good customer service in general. I enjoy coming here while on my walks. the baristas always brighten my day.

Service is whatever. The lady at the counter wasn't friendly and was a little condescending. I came here to study because back home the Starbucks has a good study space. Its is beyond loud, the music is turned so high I can hear even with headphones. I should have went to the other Starbucks that had two stars. rating so no one else makes the same mistake. Not good for studying. Baristas are literally yelling because music is so loud. Frustrating. read more

Driving through last weekend and made a comfort stop at this location. Noting that the driveway entrance is really tight. Once inside the parking lot and through the doors, it went smoothly. The restroom was reasonably clean. Counter service went quickly with our orders filled as requested. About what you want when on the road. Their oversized wall graphics are visually interesting. Long narrow space, which isn't necessarily conducive for lingering. read more

Coffee: Trusted, somewhat boring Starbucks. We all know we come here for a reliable caffeine fix, not an experience. Food: This location offers nearly-vegan and fully vegan lunch options! I hope these are new across the brand. I've never seen the quinoa veggie salad or PB&J offered before. Super excited to check the coolers in other locations, and the Starbucks website for more info. Service: Friendly, fast Overall, three stars - knocked off a star for the annoying, terrible parking! read more

Terrible customer service and sarcastic young lady employee. She wasn't happy to hear the drink was made incorrectly.

On vacation out in Santa Maria, was looking for a place to get some hot tea, and found a Starbucks. It doesn't have a drive thru, so you have to walk in. I did noticed that out of all the walk in ones I've been too, this by far was the best one. Pretty busy, with only two employees, they brought the drinks out pretty quick. I came in here twice, in the morning and both times I didn't have to wait long for my drink. They did however run out out of soy one morning, but the employee gave me other options for it. I ended up adding almond milk instead of the soy. Friendly staff and I like the fact that they did offer something else in place of something out of stock, it's actually the first Starbucks employee to have done that. Otherwise I would of just walked away empty handed. read more

Lies. They been cleaning the floor at 9:30 pm and blocked the door from coming in laughing hoping I wasnt going to go in. I had messed up drinks from another location and was actually told by somebody to come get them fixed at this one because of the great customers service and I am so glad I did, they were soooo sweet!! I had an issue with my coffee I had mobile ordered for my daughter. Just so happens we were having a mom/daughter date so a messed up drink wasn't the best thing to have. However I called and spoke to Lacey. Her customer service amazed me; literally left me impressed. She was professional and kind at the same time. When I went in she was the sweetest. We didn't even look all dressed up and had actually just been riding and she treated us so good. I cover a lot of area for work and she has been the best Starbucks brista yet!! She has a true heart for the customes and is an asset to this place. A true reflection of the management. I highly recommend this Starbucks and if you stop by say hi to Lacey read more

After informing the Barista the their back doors keep opening & closing for no apparent reason - which in turn activates their automatic fan system above the doorway. She replied, Yes, there's nothing that can be done about it." Really? How about reporting it to your company to have it fixed?! One person complemented me (or at least said it was a complement?) and explained to me why this happens which I fully understand. With all respect, My reply is this: With all respect, I do not feel complemented by you. I completely understand why this happens, yet I do not agree that people would rather have the fan going off and on - wasting a HUGE amount of energy, and creating unnecessary noise. As you probably know, there is only seating for about 4 people on this patio, and the purpose of the fan is to preserve the air-conditioned atmosphere of the interior of the store. For as little use as this patio actually gets used and as infrequently as these doors are purposefully opened to enter or exit the patio - I say turn the fans off! There are other solutions as well. But just understanding why a problem happens, without making viable and effective corrections is wasteful and neglectful. read more

I've been in this Starbucks numerous times, but last night the staff out did themselves. My daughter and boyfriend took my puppies for a walk. They both stopped in for drinks. As they say outside my rambunctious bulldog jumped up, knocked over one of their full drinks, well to 2 teenagers surprise the staff gladly remade them the spilled drink at no cost! Thank you to whoever was working last night 6/27! You guys are wonderful. read more

The NASTIEST Starbucks I've seen anywhere in the US. There's no way I could order something to eat or drink here.

Always a great coffee, fast, friendly, the best. I'm all about straight espresso or a black Pike's Place. I'm never disappointed.

This is for the young woman, who AFTER ringing me up for a 'grande coffee in a vente cup, fill the rest with 1/2 & 1/2' (which I've done for around 20 years) charging me for a vente (which I expected) and asking me to insert my credit card, after that DECIDED TO ADD a $ 0.50 to my order for half and half. Once again she made this additional charge AFTER I inserted my card. Then as I was trying to watch her to see how much half & half she was using. She told me to stand somewhere else (so I couldn't watch). After getting my order I tasted it and it was literally only 50% coffee. Really . . . . . ? I decided to ask a different barista to poor some out and fill it with more coffee and she happily gave me a new cup and fulfilled my order (If I could give 5 stars to the latter barista I would). $3.45 for a plain ol cup of coffee with cream in it? I grew up here on the central coast, my son was born 2 blocks away at Marion Hospital. We should expect better from each other as we work to serve each other in these trying times. read more
