As a kid, I grew up on baskin Robbins. I'd always get the Chocolate Fudge ice cream. While I don't normally eat a ton of ice cream these days, upon becoming pregnant a number of months ago, all of the sudden ice cream is a necessity. I went into Baskin Robbins hoping they still had that chocolate fudge I used to get as a kid and sure enough, they still do, and ya know what? It's frickin delicioussss. The service is perfectly fine. I haven't had a bad experience with any of the employees and the portions seem consistent. Overall, it's a Baskin Robbins, and if you want some ice cream, go get ya some. read more

Was really craving an ice cream Sunday so decided to go to Baskin Robbins. It was a bit busy since they only had two people working which maybe one more would help. I ordered the cookie dough sundae since I wanted something a bit other than just plain ice cream. I was not impressed how it looked, the girl was really nice but presentation on the sundae was not the best. Been cr a Hot Fudge Sundae since my last one in Vegas (South Point Casino). There they are LARGE and delicious and a bit cheaper than Baskin Robbins, that's to be expected. What's not to be expected is what I got here, two small dips of ice cream and I couldn't find any hot fudge anywhere under the whipped cream. I went back in and asked if she put any hot fudge in my sundae, she said yes and if I want more that'll be a dollar. I swear, I could not find any hot fudge at all. The ice cream, what there was of it, was good but not THAT good, six bucks you gotta be kidding me. Oh, did I mention? the girl who waited on me was the rudest person I've met in a long time. Just had one of my rudest customer service experiences in years here. They list their hours even during covid regulations as being open till 10pm on Saturdays. I pulled up around 9:25pm and put my mask on. As I walked up to the door, before I even got to the handle, an extremely rude blonde girl just yelled "NO!" and stared me down, as if I'm some vagrant instead of a customer. We have been enjoying the absolute best ice cream in the world at Baskin Robbins here in Lompoc since we moved here thirty years ago. Since my kids were babies we have frequented BR summer and winter. Tonight i drove by and NO ONE was in the shop and I know why. Over the last several years (since new management) we couldn't help but notice that the serving sizes have shrunken and are ridiculously small. At first I thought it was just the kid working there. Then it happened another time and I called and spoke with the owner to let her know of our concerns. She told me that the serving sizes were appropriate and the usual size. Now, mind you when my child worked there, it was much talked about how the owner was a "less than generous person" yet the servings were always a decent size. The owner before him always served decent sized portions as well. The ice cream is still the best, but, I resent paying $12.00 for a cup of ice cream and a three scoop sundae that in the first two bites you eat all of the topping and whip cream and you can literally see the bottom of the cup the entire time you are eating it. Recently, out of protest I went to the grocery store and bought their ice cream cake for a family birthday and it was delicious and twice as much for the price. I will not be supporting a local business that is solely in it for the profit. Good ice cream or not. read more

Terrible experience! I was out having a nice Daddy Daughter day with my 3 yr old little girl. After we had already ordered our ice cream and sat down to eat them she told me she needed to go potty. I asked the employee if they had bathroom she could use. I was informed they had a bathroom but it wasn't public and she could not use it. I questioned the logic behind not letting a 3yr old use a bathroom. The employee contacted the owners to ask if it was ok, but the answer was still no. We were then offered to let my daughter use the bathroom by herself. Not surprisingly she started to cry at the idea of using a bathroom in an unknown place by herself. I asked to speak to the owners myself. I was initially given the run around by the employee but eventually she called the owners directly. The owners finally explained they wouldn't allow my daughter to use the bathroom because they were worried we would steal something. I was caught totally off guard that the owners would think someone with their 3 yr old daughter was targeting Baskin Robbins for theft. And while I found it utterly ridiculous I even offered the keys to my car, my cell phone, and my ID as collateral their employee could hold while my little girl used the restroom. The answer was still no. I can not think of an incident where I have experienced such callous treatment toward any of my little girls. My family and I will never visit this Baskin Robbins again. I am taken aback and hurt by the treatment my little girl was shown by the Stone family. To top it all off, after being forced to leave and find another bathroom, we were hardly able to enjoy our ice cream as it had mostly melted. read more

Recommend buying ice cream from the Baskin-Robbins in Santa Maria. The prices in Lompoc are expensive (about 40% higher), and they won't take the money and fix their scanner so that gift cards can be accepted. Stay away and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Twice I have attempted to get a birthday cake from this location and they make it really difficult. They won't allow you to pay or reserve one over the phone, you just have to roll the dice. I have been to the Lompoc Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream multiple times over the last couple years. Everytime I go in the place is filthy, service is "slow as ice", and the employees drone around as if they hate their lives. But yesterday was the worst. The wife and I drove down for some ice cream, stood in the crowded filthy store for 15-20 minutes waiting just to be spoken to before we finally walked out and drove all the way to Orcutt for a much better experience. I called the store to speak with the manager because the experience was SO awful that ill never go back. Manager was not in. Overall: 2/10 read more

I had a great experience a couple weeks ago. I went in on a Sunday and Diana helped me. She was the only one there and a couple of customers were there as well so I had to wait but she greeted me when I walked in even though she was busy with others. Very poor customer service, my daughter and I were ignored while others that arrived after were served right away.

We were visiting Lompoc, and came here 3 nights in a row for dessert -- 4 to 7 of us each night. Store was very crowded each time but the lines were moving! The people working at the store each night were able to handle the crowds with patience, courtesy and good humor. They were exceptionally pleasant and somehow took orders and served food in a pretty timely manner. Compliments to the good staff, who were in good spirits in spite of all the demands.
