I would give the place a higher rating, because most of the staff are good people, BUT there are a few things that make it impossible for me to do so. 1. there is a one staffer, an obese African-American female who has a very bad attitude, appears to be quite bigoted, narcissistic, and mean to white people. She also has a very nauseating habit of cramming all of the tables in the seating area into as small of a space as possible, making it mostly impossible to sit comfortably for average people. I would post her name, but she never wears a name tag, and no one in management says anything about it, despite being in violation of corporate policy for both @Kroger and @Starbucks. As for her meanness, just before I started writing this, I witnessed her, once again, yell rudely at a small, elderly white woman whose only "crime" was moving a chair in order to sit, and not for the first time with this individual. She actually cursed at me twice in the past. She also does other things she's not supposed to do, like fixing drinks for her yapping buddies off the books. I have reported this person and her egregious behavior to both @Kroger (the Starbucks is inside the Kroger at 318 Mall BLVD) and @Starbucks, on numerous occasions, and so far, they have chosen not to do anything about it. Her behavior has been so egregious that it actually put someone's life in danger. Yes, true story, and I will swear to this in court. On 23 JUL 2024, I was sitting in the Starbucks area eating breakfast and doing some stuff on my laptop, when an elderly man at a nearby table stood up and immediately fell to the floor having a seizure. Now, this woman (and I use the term loosely) witnessed this because I was looking right at her as I was standing up to assist. I actually had to yell at her to get the manager, because she basically wasn't even attempting to move her voluminous bulk to get on the phone of her own volition. It took FIVE MINUTES for the duty manager (another African-American female with a known history of bigoted behavior, who tries to hide her identity by not wearing a name tag, but I found out from others that it is Destiny) to show up and she was not even on the phone with 911. Good thing that I was. On top of everything, the manager actually "thought" it was a good idea to give someone having a grand mal seizure a cup of water with ice in it. I also asked her to move a few chairs out of the way for EMS to have easier access and she REFUSED TO DO SO, so I ended up having to do so while trying help a guy having a seizure and talking to EMS at the same time. This started at 0638 and EMS arrived at 0650 to treat him and take him to hospital. As long as she is on shift (typically 0600-0800 except WED and SUN), I fear for any white person having a medical emergency, because I think, based on past behavior, that she'd just stand there and watch them die. 2. The general cleanliness is lacking. No one at the Starbucks kiosk ever cleans the tables, except for one person who recently quit. The floors are not properly cleaned. I clean more tables there than the staff does. 3. As I said in the preface, most of the staff does as good a good as they can, given the situation with a general manager (Markee) and an senior assistant manager (Destiny) who are, frankly, incompetent and bigoted.

I wanted a cup of hot tea to warm me while grocery shopping. I purchased my new favorite hot drink the medicine ball tea (yum). I had to wait 15 minutes for the tea because the staff had to go get some ingredients from the grocery aisle (This Starbucks is located in Krogers). This is the longest wait at any Starbucks I have ever patronize. It was worth it in the end

Venti cold brew with sweet cream, tall vanilla bean frappe, grande cookie crumble mocha frappe.

Once for lunch and once to pick up breakfast before our trip home. Their bagels are delicious. The first day I had a bagel with "lox" and cream cheese and my husband had chicken salad. He loved the sandwich. I quoted the lox, because it has become a generic name people give to smoked salmon. The truth is it was nova. Lox is very salty and when I saw that was the only option, I was confident it wouldn't be salty. It wasn't. The sandwich was perfect. They have 2 options, platter or just the opened face sandwich. The open faced sandwich was a little less money and it was nice to see an option without paying platter price. They didn't skimp on the salmon. I ended up taking the other 1/2 back to hotel any my husband and I shared the next morning. I call the portion enough for 2 or for just my kid who loves smoked salmon. The morning we left Savannah we got a bagel with "lox" for my daughter and one for me to share with my husband. He got a bagel with lox spread and then took 1/2 my salmon and we both had plenty. Service was friendly and it's quick serve. The size is small but was very clean. It's definitely not the delis I am used to, but the bagels were great and the prices are reasonable. The will definitely return on our next trip.

The bagel ware very good, I had a poppy seed bagel with chicken salad, a side of potato salad and a pickle spear. All were very good, especially the pickle spears. My wife had a bagel with cream cheese and lox, actually it was sliced Nova. They don't skimp! The bagel was served open face with plenty of lox and cream cheese on each half. I tried a piece of the lox/nova and it was very good. Bringing my daughter there before we leave Savannah.

There are two screens that you order on, it was a little slow because only one person was working. I really loved the quality boba, and jasmine green tea with 50% sweetness was just what I needed for this insane Georgia heat. Their mochi is made fresh daily. Since moving from Hawaii, I haven't had good mochi since, and this blew me away. It was incredibly fresh and chewy - lots of filling inside, sweet mango, and constructed perfectly! I can't wait to come back and try more!

Eat Tea is on the side with Jersey Mike's. There is a small amount of parking on that side. The service is excellent! You can order on one of the iPads if you are in a hurry or in general. But the staff are happy to take your order as well. The menu is vast. There are many types of teas, bubbles, add ins, foams and more. I tend to try a new tea when I go in. You never know what you like until you try something new! I love the fresh fruit teas. Yes, they do use actual fresh fruit. I'm not a fan of very sweet teas. Generally I will get mine half sweet or unsweetened. It depends on the tea. Just ask the staff about the level of sweetness if you want to know. They also have fresh mochi and crepe cakes. I have not tried the mochi. But the crepe cakes I have tried were delicious. There are a few tables inside the restaurant. It is not meant to seat a lot of people. But it definitely can fit a few comfortably. There is a bathroom in the back down the hall. I continue to go back to Eat Tea. They have great teas in a convenient location!

Our first visit here, but we'll be back next time we're in Savannah. We went there for breakfast,…read moreand there were so many things to try that it was hard to make up our minds. We finally did, but with just the two of us we barely scratched the surface and we really enjoyed everything we ate (and drank)! Not the most fancy place to have breakfast (has that school cafeteria look) and there's a lot of noise coming from the kitchen area, but the menu is VERY extensive and creative, and the food was very good. I got the three large breakfast sausages rolled in pancakes, which came with an orange marmalade syrup with real orange bits in it it. Husband had the pancake sampler, which came with his choice of three different pancakes from their extensive selection and three syrups/toppings. One was a delicious maple syrup which was great with his bacon pancakes, another was a blueberry compote with real blueberries (real blueberries in the blueberry pancakes as well), and he also go the orange marmalade syrup/topping that I got with my sausage & pancakes. We both had iced coffee, which came with vanilla creamers (a favorite of ours). Our meals came out pretty quickly even through there were quite a few other customers. This is not your typical pancake restaurant, and the menu went well beyond that of a typical breakfast joint. Not just the usual your egg combos and pancakes, but a very wide selection of pancakes and waffles with different ingredients mixed in (fruits, chocolate chips, bacon, etc.) and various toppings. They have a variety of omelets, all the usual breakfast meats and then some, several of them in different styles, including bacon, ham, sausage, corned beef hash, steak, shrimp, and crab, and a few types of eggs benedict. Also, several styles of crepes from different countries, some southern favorites such as shrimp and grits, and some international breakfast specialties as well (German pancakes, potato pancakes. Lunch options are also available, but we were there for breakfast and didn't really spend time looking at that part of the menu. Looking forward to going back on our next trip to Savannah (we're usually there at least a couple times a year) and trying some more of their breakfast items! Sorry, we didn't have much to eat the previous day and so we were hungry and forgot to take pics before we started chowing down. Pics next time, I promise!
