This was my first time here because I save the breakfast trips for when other people want to eat that early. This time it was my mom, we both ordered hot tea which warmed my soul. My mom got the oven baked 5-egg omelette with shrimp and some modifications and pancakes. I got the ham, eggs and silver dollar pancakes. The omelettes are a pretty penny but can definitely be shared amongst two with ease so it's worth the money. Our server was training, she was great but her trainee Harold just seemed like he's in the wrong field. Didn't get any pictures because I hadn't seen my mom in a while, but some of the best memories are those we don't capture on camera.

This gem is located in Midtown, right by the Kroger near Mall Boulevard on Hodgson Memorial. They've got a small parking lot out front (shared with a couple of other restaurants) and additional parking behind, which is convenient for busy weekends. The staff here are absolutely fantastic--super friendly and always on top of refills. They understand the importance of coffee first thing in the morning, and you won't have to wait long before your cup's topped off. They're open for both breakfast and lunch, but if you're heading in for breakfast on the weekend (especially after church), be prepared for it to be a bit busy. That said, the food is totally worth the wait. Portions are HUGE, the bacon is perfectly crispy, and if you're gluten-free, you'll be thrilled to know they offer both gluten-free pancakes and waffles! While they don't offer fancy coffee drinks or dairy-free options, the star here is definitely the gluten-free pancakes. So if you're looking for a solid breakfast with great service and a satisfying meal, this place has you covered!

Im.pretty sure they had 12 kinds of pancakes! Plus lots and lots and lots of other choices for breakfast. It's usually very easy for me to decide on breakfast. Not this time. I finally settled on Georgia pecan pancakes. He had eggs Benedict with home fries and one biscuit (can you add a little sausage gravy? Sure thing, honey.) Lots of Southern charm found at this place. My pancakes were Big. Too big, I could only eat two. His breakfast was delicious too, and of course we sampled each others. Will definitely make this a monthly stop when we move here. Our service was great until billl time came. For sike reason actually getting the bill and then paying the bill took 20 minutes. They were that dang busy.

I wanted to this place while I was in town for work. I got the country ham and eggs meal. The meal was cooked well and came out pretty quick considering they were busy. The waitress was on top of it and made sure we got our drinks refilled without asking. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming.

We were greeted and seated upon entry! Our server was very attentive! I believe Nuri is her name! I ordered the avocado toast. I was slightly disappointed because the avocado seemed prepackaged but it was okay. I'm glad that the hollandaise was on the side. I enjoyed the breakfast potatoes and the smoked sausage that my Dad I shared very much! My Dad enjoyed his pancakes, bacon and eggs! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit inside. The menu has a wide variety of options.

A few weeks ago, my Sister-In-Love and my beautiful nieces came for breakfast. This visit was extra special because it had been a while since we have enjoyed a day together. Our wait time was less than ten minutes. Our waitress took our drink orders, giving us time to peruse the menu. I already know what I wanted - the crabcake omelet. My first visit was more than five years ago, and I never forgot how rich and decadent this delicious omelet tasted. So, for the second time, I ordered the 5-egg crabcake omelet with a side of pancakes. My sister-in-love ordered the crabcake breakfast with scrambled eggs and a side of hollandaise. Beauty Queen Number 1 ordered steak and eggs over easy, and Beauty Queen Number 2 ordered the banana pancakes with a side of bacon. My omelet was epically delicious - a gi-normous, meaty crabcake cradled within a fluffy cloud of eggs, accompanied by a side of hollandaise and a nice stack of tender, fluffy pancakes. Kudos to the chefs for providing such generous portions. If you leave the Original Pancake House hungry, that's your fault, lol! Because it's impossible to leave this place hungry. If anything, you'll be so full and satisfied that you'll wish there was a sofa to sleep off your imminent food coma. Needless to say, we enjoyed our food so much. We're looking g forward to another visit, but not too soon because at almost two thousand calories, my calorie allowance was blown away, with enough for the next day. Our waitress was very nice. I would have loved for her to be more prompt with the coffee refills, but nothing was seriously lacking. My only concern is the space of the dining area. Seating was a little tight, but manageable. There's an outdoor seating area, but it was so hot, dining inside was much more preferable. All in all, we really enjoyed our breakfast. We'll be visiting again.

The Original Pancake House is a local breakfast staple in Southside Savannah. It is quality food, well done, and semi quickly dependent upon what you order. The service is always great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food comes out quickly. Yet again depending upon what you order. There are a few items on the menu which staff will tell you are not quick to cook. The restaurant has a variety of seating. When you enter you will see a bar directly in front of you with stool seating. There are also tables and banquets throughout the rest of the space. The bathrooms are directly to your left when you enter the front doors. Pancake is in the name, and the pancakes are awesome here! An entire page on the menu is dedicated to them. I am personally a fan of a classic with maple syrup. Their maple syrup is served warm here by the way. But there are a variety of mix-ins and syrups offered on the menu. I am generally an espresso person. This is one of the very few places I actually will order a plain cup of coffee. They have good coffee. I also love their mugs! They are made out of ceramic. Also shaped to fit your hands. Your coffee does not get cold quickly and your hands will not get burnt by the mug. My go to meal for breakfast is the eggs and bacon. You will choose how you like your eggs. They always come out perfectly. The chefs in the back are egg masters. I ask for extra crispy bacon. And finally you get pancakes too! Or you can switch to grits, toast, or another side of choice depending upon price. The grits are delicious here too! Go grab yourself some pancakes, crepes, eggs, or grab a sandwich! Because they are only open for breakfast and lunch. It is worth a visit.

Yum!! Finally gave this spot a try for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10:30am, and it was packed!!! From families leaving Saturday sport events, older groups meeting up to hang, and young people dragging their feet from the night before (and everyone in between). Definitely a "come as you are" kind of place, and I love it. We waited about 15-20 to be seated, and almost slipped on our way to our seats. The services here are quick! For good reason, but one almost tackled me as I rounded the corner. The place could be a bit cleaner, but I will say it gets the job done. I'll definitely be back, the food tasted so good! Don't have high expectations here, but know you'll leave full!

SAVANNAH, GA 31406 / BREAKFAST/ MULTIPLE VISITS +The customer service was beyond superb; Mandy really took care of us. +The corned beef hash is made in-house. +The thick-cut bacon wasn't too salty. +Everything we ordered was delicious. +The place was pretty clean and the staff work really hard to provide an amazing customer experience. +Plenty of parking and the Wednesday and Thursday we went wasn't too busy. -The fresh cut fries could've been a little bit more crispy. Get the Dutch Baby!

Had seen this place so many times and finally tried it out I should have sooner. The food was great everything tasted delicious. Arrived at the table hot , pancakes were delicious, pork chops were amazing everything was delicious. Our server Noel, was friendly, funny very professional stay up with our table made sure we had refills and everything we needed. The restaurant was crowded with families and business professionals. It had a relaxing feel at home atmosphere. If you're over by the mall I recommend checking them out.

We had a group of about 14 girls on a bachelorette trip, and we showed up around 11:00 AM. There was about an hour wait, so we went and walked around for a little bit while we waited. Once we finally got seated, though, our server took care of all 14 of us SO efficiently. He was absolutely running around doing his best! Getting everyone's drinks, taking all of our food orders, and making sure everyone was taken care of. The food came out pretty quickly considering the size of our group, and he was even able to split up all of our checks for us. Overall, the service was amazing. He was great! The vibes inside were really cool, too. We were seated in a corner area where we could see people coming in and out and watch everyone walking by outside the window. There was also another bachelorette group sitting near us, so it made the whole experience even more fun. And then there was my food... SO GOOD. I got the chicken sandwich, and it was HUGE. I honestly don't even think my picture does justice to how much food comes with it. Surprisingly, the fries were really good, too. But the chicken was what really impressed me. Sometimes when you order grilled chicken, it can be super dry, but this chicken was SO tender and juicy. There wasn't a single tough or dry spot. I was full after eating half of the sandwich, but I almost ate the entire thing because I genuinely could not stop eating it! I will absolutely be back here the next time I'm in Savannah!

I love that the menu encourages you to try duck in different ways than you may be used to. I don't typically like ordering grilled cheese out since I make a pretty good one myself at home, but the duck grilled cheese called to me. I'm glad I answered because it was delicious! It had the right combo of cheeses, and the caramelized onion gave it that little pizzazz it needed. It went great with the tomato soup. My sister's duck tacos were also very good. They do a great job of cooking the duck well, which I don't think is easy. The bellinis weren't groundbreaking, but they were very fun, since there's different flavors to choose from and they come garnished with a little rubber duck.

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). It was a towering plate of waffle fries loaded with cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage gravy, fried chicken, and topped with sunny-side-up eggs. Both portions were enormous and absolutely delicious--we had to pace ourselves to make a dent in them! Everything tasted fantastic, with bold flavors and that perfect Southern comfort twist Treylor Park is known for. We're already planning to stop by again whenever we're near one of their locations--highly recommend for a fun, hearty breakfast!

I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. One side was topped with sloppy joe, while the other had chili and relish. It was a fun idea that let you enjoy two different flavor combinations in one meal. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.

This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. And the Brussels were nice and soaked in balsamic glaze, which maybe diminished the "crispy" in the title... but I didn't mind because they were delicious.
