I hate writing bad reviews, but after too many "maybe this time will be better" Starbucks visits, this location has officially crushed my caffeine-loving soul. Walked in, ordered in person, and the cashier didn't even ask for my name -- which, in Starbucks language, already felt like a red flag. I paid, shuffled over to the pickup area, and waited... and waited... and watched every other person (some of whom ordered after me!) receive their drinks, their pastries, probably their tax refunds, before me. At the 25-minute mark, I approached the counter like a concerned parent at a school conference. The baristas looked around for my drink for five full minutes -- zero communication, just vibes and confusion. Finally, after I asked again, someone said, "Oh, what did you order?" (Groundbreaking question, 30 minutes later!) They remade it, handed me a drink that wasn't what I ordered, but at that point my will to live -- and my caffeine craving -- had both evaporated. I just left, defeated. Mind you, the store wasn't even busy. The baristas were happily chatting like they were at a brunch, while I stood there slowly turning into an unpaid extra in a coffee-themed waiting room simulation. This Starbucks is very nostalgic since back in 2012-13 I used to bring my aunt here after shopping, and enjoy our Mochas. She lived at Leisure World back then. It's still clean and the baristas are friendly. I got myself an Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and sat down. Lots of foot traffic and family friendly. This location in Seal Beach is so bad. First I am waiting to order for almost 10 minutes and I was second in line. Then I clearly stated my order two times and the person still did not get it so I had to say again. Lastly, there were 4 people behind the counter, 3 making drinks and one raking orders and I still waited over 10 minutes for my drink. The baristas were forgetting orders and making them wrong. It was a joke. It was not super busy, it was just bad coordination of the work crew. I don't know if I will come here again as I was only here because I came to a certain store in the area. The best Starbucks to go to!! Ordered my usual iced quad espresso with salted caramel foam, and almost had tears of joy because finally I get the perfect amount of foam on top. That salted caramel foam is THE reason I crave Starbucks and I'm always so sad when there's barely any or it's mixed in with the drink. Great location! Stop here when in "the middle" between Orange County and LA for working - catching up on emails, etc. Plenty of parking and more importantly seating inside and lots of table outside. VERY RUDE Barista, I ordered hot chocolate with no foam no whipped cream, received with foam and let her know, her answer just throw it away, then she was upset with no reason while make the new own, throwing cup and things on the sink making noise. Shockingly said GO AWAY!! thinking that me and my friend didn't hear it while we were chatting by the pick up area. My replied, what's going on with you and she said I'm working and Have a good day with a sarcastic tone. I said really, we are not going have a nice day after how you treat customer. She didn't make my friend order instead the other guy made the order. My friend called the store manager and gave her name and he said she is new. Later we sat outside, another barista finished her shift approaches us and apologize, and said she is not new, she is one of SHIFT LEAD, wow that make us believe no wonder the other barista just keep quite and let her what she did. I get that mobile orders are important, but there was about 8 of them made before mine and put out on the table, just sitting with no one waiting to pick up mobile orders. 3 of us were waiting for our orders as we were watching all the mobile orders go out. I even ended up looking at the time stamp on my receipt because I was thinking this was taking an awful long time. I also used up the rest of a gift card, and tried to use my card attached to my app to pay the rest of my balance, and they couldn't get it to work, 3 people tried to figure it out, and there was a line starting to build behind me, so ended up just pulling out my card, so no points for me I guess. She had gotten it from target across the way but i didnt know so i just went to this location..as soon as i mentioned i wanted it redone the two girl employees looked at my drink and said we can't do that here because it's not from this location , then the short white girl proceeded to tell me that they don't have cold brews here( which was clear they did from the menu listing it) . She then said they are not associated with the starbucks at target or ralphs, so they cant do a redo. If this establishment does not do redos bcuz of their policy that's fine, but she didn't not only have to be rude about it but try and play me for a fool telling me they don't sell cold brews like I'm some kind of idiot. She basically shooshed me away as if I was a bother to her. I've never had such rude service AT ANY starbucks in my 20 years of getting my drinks at this business. I wish I knew her name to report her snooty butt. I will never come here again despite it being my closest location. This looks horrible on Starbucks name and what they stand for. I've never had an issue at this Starbucks. The parking lot is plentiful, the service was good, and my drinks taste like every other Starbucks out there. I use the Starbucks app on my phone to pay, which makes things go even quicker. I noticed that this location added a large communal table a while back ago, which is really nice to do some work or eating with a large party. read more

My daughter left her backpack purse on a table at this location on 7/8/23. She didn't realize it until she was at her destination in San Diego. Her boyfriend called and someone had turned it in. The employees put it in a safe location until her boyfriend picked it up the morning of 7/9/23. Nothing was missing. Still a really great place to meet up with people. Lots of outdoor seating. Indoors - lots of plugs, lots of little tables, and people switch out enough for you to get a chance. Only con about this place is.....traffic hour is pretty crazy with the long line inside. Free parking: It'll be a walk but you'll be fine. In plaza with ralphs, jamba juice and right across/next door to Rubios with their awesome outdoor shady patio too. Great place to chill outdoors also. Well, they've definitely redeemed themselves since my last review. I haven't had to have my drink remade a single time and I've even gotten several drinks on the house. Ugh, I used to love this Starbucks when I was in high school but now I feel like the service here just suffers. My last visit here was quite the disappointment. The line was super long and not moving at all. When I finally got to the counter, I ordered a grande drip coffee and asked to purchase a gift card. I guess the guy at the cash register couldn't handle the coffee order because he had to turn around twice to get the right coffee/cup size. And the gift card? "Out of Stock" or too lazy to go look through the boxes in the back. I'm kind of disgusted by this location of Starbucks. I'm a big fan of their super large table (two large tables put together). If you read my reviews, you'll know I'm a sucker for large tables where I spread all my crap around. They also have several other smaller tables if you're studying by yourself or with one other person (though a little cramped for two). They lose stars because... 1) It's super cold. They crank the AC and at night it was the same temperature outside and inside. Way too cold!! My hands and toes felt like they were freezing. It's so hard to type when your hands are cold too, haha. 2) There are lots of high schoolers that come to "study" after school, meaning it gets rather loud here. 3) I got charged for adding syrup when I asked for a refill, even though I had already paid extra for the syrup when I originally purchased my drink, which never happens when I go to other stores. 4) Wifi is super slow here. Even though the large table is super super awesome, there are plenty of other places that are better for studying. read more

My friend and I walked in the lady at the register (white woman) seen us enter and did not not bother to take our order it wasn't till one of the baristas asked if we had ordered yet and asked her to help us.
