Great breakfast and bakery spot on Main street. Always packed even early mornings weekdays. I'll stop if there's parking. i'll get a Kouign-amann (pronounced "queen-ah-mahn")

Main Street Seal Beach is such a charming little area and The Crema Cafe is the best breakfast/brunch place on the street! It's definitely a local favorite. So beware that it can get very crowded, especially during prime time weekend hours. The earlier you go, the better! This place has seating inside and even more seating outside. There's so many options for breakfast, lunch, and baked goods. I use to come frequently because I lived walking distance from here. So I've tried so many different things on the menu and There hasn't been anything I didn't like! My go to is the fitness burrito and matcha latte. I also love their chocolate croissant and Tuna Melt. They even offer doggy treats :)

Cute cafe with tasty food! I came during brunch hours and had the avocado toast with a side of crispy bacon and sausage. I also had an iced spanish latte with added cinnamon and it was made to perfection! You must order the crème brûlée! It was pretty busy on a Saturday so I recommend making a reservation and parking can be tricky.

We loved this cafe. We had never explore old town Seal Beach before, what a little gem by the pier. Crema Cafe definitely seemed like a local favorite. We went on a Monday around 10:30am and we had to wait about 10 mins. They had a texting system so we could walk around a bit while we waited. We got seated promptly before 10 mins as promised and we had a very nice and attentive server throughout our brunch. Ambiance is cute traditional American cafe with part bakery to order to-go, inside and outside seating. They had a nice selection on their menu that had something for everyone. My husband had the smoked salmon omelet and I had a scramble (I can't remember the name), but had eggs, crunchy bacon and tomatoes with avocado on top. Both were delicious and came with choice of potatoes or fruit and choice of their house breads. All was really good and friendly. We will be back!

Today we had a great breakfast. We got the sweet crepes and the savory crepes with fries. The breakfast crepe was like a nice chorizo scramble topped with a generous mound of sour cream and avocado. The fries were hot and fresh and crispy. I also asked for a side of their amazing garlic aioli. I added it to everything. The bananas foster crepe was legit with warm sauteed bananas inside. Service was prompt and friendly. Ambiance was warm.

Cream cafe is adorable. It's off Main street in Seal beach and although it was a busy weekend day, I got lucky and found a parking spot right out front. Talk about Lucky! I was with a meet up group of about 12 people and since we made reservations, we had a nice little corner at back of the patio. The servers was very patient and answered all the questions and sent the food order in waves so the food came out rather quickly. The regular coffee, it was a bit confusing but if you order a coffee for dine in, you do get free refills. But, the way the menu is worded. There was some confusion from the group. Drink: Matcha Latte with almond milk, this is my new thing right now! I absolutely loved it. It was rich and creamy. Definitely worth a try as an alternative to coffee. Food: I happened to sit next to a person who was eyeing 2 different Benedict and also a waffle so we ended up sharing the 3 items! The Persian Benedict has a fried egg and Brie! Omg, what a game changer. I'm also on a brie kick, too. It comes in wave. The crossiant is a nice touch and it was soft ans flakey. The carnitas Benedict was also very good, it had a great flavor. There was a lot of potatoes as well. I had to take some home. It had decent flavor. The Belgium waffle was worth the share. The whipped cream was perfect, the fruit was fresh and complementary to the syrup. The syrup was legit. Very rich and tasty. I highly recommend this place for brunch if you're in Seal Beach.

This place is fantastic. The bakery and bread are great and so all the sandwiches made with that break are awesome. I had the Croque monsieur with a fried egg. I definitely recommend it. My friend had the chicken and artichoke crepe and said it was definitely 5-star material. She particularly liked the flavors of the sun-dried tomatoes with grilled onions with the artichoke. I also got a bunch of pastries to take home.

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen and some of her favorite people met here for an early morning breakfast and catch-up. We all enjoyed our orders- chilaquiles, eggs Benedict, and Nutella French toast. Delicious! I left with a fresh loaf of country bread, too! Get there early if you want a place to sit. The end.

Returned to Crema Cafe after a memorable first visit! Today our breakfast options didn't hit the mark like the lunch options did. Our salmon bagel was burnt :( it was busy as usual, but we felt a bit rushed to order with our server when looking at the menu. Use the waitlist outside to put your name on the Yelp virtual waiting list! Still a cute spot, nice bakery and bread selection.

Hands down the best food. Everything on the menu is excellent . I had the chicken pesto crap. So fresh and delicious. I practically licked my plate clean. The side salad was just right. All the baked goods in the bakery are exquisite as well. Fresh ingredients. My favorite spot I always come back

Fit omelet with sourdough and fruit

I Met 3 friends here for an early (11:30) lunch on Halloween. The wait was surprisingly short..about 10 minutes. Yay! It was a full house...we were in the center..pretty tight next to the other customers. Nothing to get excited about. Unfortunately service was slow as they never came back to clear our plates and we had to finally request the bill. I split the for omelet with a side of fruit and sourdough bread. The fruit was a variety of Mellons which were tasteless. The omelet was really tasty.

Relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to rush. Excellent service, friendly staff, and truly delicious food. I ordered the Seal Beach omelet with roasted potatoes and a jalapeño cheese bagel -- everything was a 10/10. I'll definitely be back to try something new. If you're in the area, stop by.

Crema... its been a minute since I cane here to visit you. Was in town visiting for 48hrs and had to do some catch up with my girlfriends. Made resos since Sunday's are busy.. thank you for making that an option now! Got promptly seated. Friendly staff. I LOVE that they allow dogs on the patio.. I missed mine! Delish almond milk latte complete with a cute barista heart. 10/10 Had the fresh berries Belgium Waffle. 9/10. Light fluffy, fresh cali berries. The star was a warmed up pastry from the glass case.. Kouign Amann Its like if a French croissant had a baby with a bit of a butter cake. It was sooooo goood. 11/10 Get that, split it with a friend. Then go back and order one yourself and dont share If you haven't har Crema Cafe on your bingo card.. do yourself a favor and come here.. street parking is free for 2hrs. Then go take a nice walk down on the Seal Beach board walk and be in the moment with mother nature then hit up the local Los Alamitos farmers market Sundays... just a few min drive along the water north near 2nd and PCH across fm whole foods. Some of the best seasonal veggies, fruit, mushrooms, tamales, flowers socal has to offer. You will meet tue farmers who picked them and you won't believe how they taste! Love me some Seal Beach! Way more low key than HB.

Went with the ube and a white chocolate macadamia. Of course both were delicious. One major caveat though-you MUST get them warmed up. Last time I had their cookies they were warm and I fell in love. This time I thought I would eat it later so I declined. Well, of course once I got the cookies in my mitts I had to have a bite or two. Initially, I was completely disappointed, and thought this can't be right. I was going to ask the friendly staff if they could warm it up, but that seemed weird since I had already broken off a couple of bites. Took my ube home, quick 15 second warm up and it was back to perfection. Rookie mistake on my part and I won't do it again. While I was in the store I nearly ended up buying a load of cute items, that I thought I absolutely must have. Showed some restraint, but I can't guarantee I will be able to again.

The lemon and meringue in the tart were very good: the citrus had a nice bite to it, it wasn't too sweet. I found the pastry a little thick, but that is sometimes an issue when making miniature tarts, as the pastry to filling ratio can get off-balance. The little dark chocolate bunny was ok, but honestly not any better than most retail chocolate bars for a much higher cost. On my second visit I stopped in on a morning for a matcha latte and ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was flaky and had a good balance of ham and cheese. They warm them up and it was the perfect temperature. The matcha latte was very disappointing, though. I didn't end up finishing it and threw most of it out. It was bright green, but had no real matcha flavor to speak of. Instead it tasted overwhelmingingly of vanilla. So much so that as it cooled it reminded me of drinking melted vanilla ice cream. I don't know if they use vanilla syrup by default as their sweetner, because I didn't ask for it, but if so it's an odd choice to make without telling people. Overall, a bit of a mixed bag.

This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.

Who doesn't love Paris? Who isn't a fan of baguettes? And when you think of a great bakery, Parisian treats come to mind. Similar to 85 Degrees in layout and business model (grab room temperature sweets and savories what you want from cases), and coffee, cakes, slices in refrigerated cases. PB also has an extensive drink list made to order. However unlike 85 Degrees, nothing is restocked after opening. I came around 5pm on Sunday. The baked food cases were more than half empty gone. Same for most of baked goods along back wall, including cookies and bread. Their baguettes seemed fresh but lacked enough crunch that I like. PB also has prepackaged meals - sandwiches and wraps. Starting at $9, I'm not taking a risk buying potentially a mediocre meal given my dissatisfaction with the pastries. They have fancy sweets like Dubai Chocolate Mochi Donuts, and Orange Cronut. Raspberry Nutella Round Croissant. You've seen them, shaped like wheels. Mine tasted a day old. The raspberry filling was too sweet and thick. (Artificial) Crab Cake - Big with good crunch but tasted much better the first time I had it. Mixed with veggies. Almond croissant- An example of deceptively good appearance. While flaky, it didn't taste buttery or light and airy. And the almond filling just tasted sweet. No trace of almond. The space is big and pretty cozy. Tables outsides on both sides of the business. Kudos for having both customer and pick up parking spaces. I'm willing to give them one more try. My sweet tooth wants to think they sell a few good items.

The cake was lemony, soft and moist; I only wish there were more strawberry pieces in the cake, i'm not a huge frosting person but this strawberry cream cheese was sooo yummy and blended well with the cupcake. I loved how they packaged up the single cupcake. There would have been an extra charge for the special single box, but I took a chance on their regular packaging and it worked perfectly! I know they will have lots of business and will probably sell out of most of the flavors every day. Glad this special little popup close to my home has opened up!
