Horrible customer service experience today, which is unfortunate because everyone is usually incredibly friendly. Inez (or Ines) is rude, unhelpful, and made me feel like l was inconvenient. Half way through my ordering (never once even looked at me) she turned away while I'm mid sentence and asks another barista to finish taking my order. She then just walks away. l literally had to repeat it all. She appeared very grumpy (but way opposite when engaging coworkers) and definitely didn't seem like she enjoys her job. read more

Ordered two pumpkin spice lattes and asked no whip for both, and soy in one. BOTH our drinks had whipped and neither of them were soy. I brought it back to the barista and he said he'd have them right up. He scraped off the whip on both instead of remaking them, and obviously, it was still not soy. I hate to be a pain but WHAT! I just paid 4 dollars for an overpriced latte, I want it my way gosh darn it! Needless to say, I won't be coming back to this particular one. read more

While waiting for a friend to get to Solana Beach train station, I stopped by this Starbucks and I was happy to see that there were a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The baristas were all very friendly and nice with smiles on their face! It made the experience very pleasant! The only thing I thought they could've improved was to ask for customers' name so they can put it on the food order. I ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich and wasn't sure if it was mine to take since there were few people waiting in line for coffee/food. read more

This Starbucks is nice and open with a lot of outlets for your laptop and other charging needs. Very convenient location right off the freeway makes it great for meeting people for something such as a study group. I once met with a few friends back in college here and we successfully laid out our story boards while discussing the mise-en-scene of a short film we were writing. This is, without a doubt, the busiest Starbucks I have ever been to! There is always a fairly sizable line. However, the baristas are very friendly, the environment is comfortable and they have always gotten my order correct. This is the kind of Starbucks that people come to and stay for a while... So don't come here expecting a quick trip. They have a nice patio out back and often people bring their dogs. There seem to be a lot of regulars and it's a great place for people watching! read more

This Starbucks is very convenient for me. It can be crowded at times. There are a lot of tables and seating but they will be full most of the day. I'ts great if you want to stop in a grab a quick drink. If you want to relax or get some work done, I would probably go to the Flower Hill location instead since it's less busy. read more

I WANT A NOOO STAR selection!!! Walked in wasn't acknowledged no other customers in sight. Ashley finally said hi after about 45 seconds. She passed by us and was wiping down equipment. When she passed by again, I asked are you still open and her reply was, "our doors wouldn't be unlocked if we were closed." Seriously? Nice customer service missy, you have a positive attitude. When I placed my order, I said no whip. Left, got into vehicle and low and behold...whipped cream! Went back inside and said, I specifically said no whipped cream. She said she didn't hear. I told her I think she did hear, but because I asked her about being open, did it intentionally. She said she was busy, apologized and said it wasn't that. I then said, you had no one in here, how can you say you're busy? Every Starbucks I've been to, has always acknowledged their customers and when it's "busy" say they'll be right with you. I know this for a fact because I drink my share of coffee and tea. I've been a gold member since 2009. I ended with she is very unprofessional and what she did was UNACCEPTABLE!!! P.S. Lcoated next to many other shops, this Starbucks is quite crowded at times. They messed up my drink a couple of times though. I really like the outside lounge area because the inside of the store can get quite cold. read more

Took forever to get an iced tea with 5 employees working and only 3 customers in front of me. They were too busy planning their get together and trying one another's root beer drink and taking espresso shots. Please get your staff together and put the customers first. Since I bank across the street I regularly hit up this Starbucks. What I like about it is that it is has an open floor plan and parking is not an issue. Getting a seat can be a little tough depending on the time of day but usually there is outside seating as a worse case scenario. Generally the service is decent, however, today they must have been understaffed as the usual Starbuck's efficient yet friendly atmosphere was not present. read more

Service here is really slow. It's not a busy day but I took 10 minutes to get my ice white mocha.

I come here everyday because it's close to my work. I order ahead on the app. I order 15 minutes prior even though prep time usually says less than 8 minutes ... it's still not ready when I do that. The last 4 times I've been the baristas are standing around talking, there's no line (maybe one or two in line at times) and I'm one of the few people waiting even though I ordered ahead of time. Most of the baristas are nice but a couple of them are consistently unfriendly. This needs to be addressed. read more

I don't know if anyone from starbucks reads these reviews, but I feel the need to review this particular starbucks on Lomas Santa Fe. I go here every now and again on my way to work because I live close by. EVERY time, I have a frustrating experience. I have often asked myself, "is this where starbucks sends new-hires to be trained?" Everyone is SO SLOWWWWWW...at the register, making drinks, everyone! I don't get it. Usually starbucks is speedy and efficient. At this one, it's like everyone is in slow motion. Best advice is to not go here if you are in a hurry, which I usually am when I am on my way to work. And, on top of it all, when I am in a hurry, I don't appreciate Mr. friendly-neighbor-without-a-job chatting it up for days with the register clerk or the barrista. Let these slow folks focus on the task at hand! read more

Rudest Starbucks I've ever been to. I understand they have to deal with all of the snobby SOBs but c'mon. I made two purchases because my gf was in her curlers and they were out of plain bagels so instead of bein that guy who calls her while at the register, I paid for my coffee then got back in line an called her. When I got to the front the brunette(fair skinned) said " what are you waiting for?" umm okay I wanna get a bagel now. Then the manager/shift lead yelled at the new guy next to her. the lady taking orders messed up both my order and my moms and then the girl making the drinks didn't listen to my moms specifications for her drink and ended up making it way too sweet and essentially undrinkable. neither apologized for the mistake. i wouldn't say terrible customer service but it definitely wasn't great either. my mom ended up throwing her drink away instead of waiting for them to remake it again and forcing us to wait even longer. read more

It took more than 10 minutes to get a regular coffee on a Sunday afternoon that was not busy. The cashiers were speaking to a few regulars and each of their orders took awhile. I thought this was a one time instance but happened again. I won't be going back to this Starbucks again. read more
