Iced Honey Lavender Latte now costs $7.50 ;( The barista did accommodate me when I asked for half sweet, and it was made very well. The drink itself is delicious, but not sure if I would come every week for this price (personally). Maybe just once in a while! The interior space got revamped so that the workers have more wiggle room, that was cool to see. I didn't see much else that changed though-- oh besides that and the prices. The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

Rich, bold, and insanely good. This Seven Seas Roasting is located in the art district of Solana Beach, which is a prime location for enjoying the coast with shopping & good eats. I ordered the Honey Cinnamon Latte (espresso, fresh honey, and cinnamon). 10/10 as this is well balanced with quality espresso. There are a few tables w/ chairs directly outside but ample places to sit and walk to within this district.

I ordered the rosemary bagel with cream cheese and coconut bacon and an iced lavender honey latte, and both were amazing! I ended up going back the next day to get the coffee again. The service was great both times, and it's located on a cute street with lots of great stores. I definitely have this spot saved in my mind whenever I visit the area.

I was parked at the train station at Solana Beach and I wanted some local coffee on a Sunday. I saw one owned by veterans. I walked across the street and I kept seeing people grabbing coffee. I must have passed 4 places before seeing Seven Seas. They had a foldable sign outside, but I almost missed the place! I ordered an Iced Cinnamon Honey Latte and it came out quick. Delicious and absolutely tasty.

What a great little spot on Cedros. I stopped by Seven Seas Roasting Company and had their hot rosemary ginger latte--absolutely delicious. The balance of flavors was unique and comforting, with just the right amount of warmth and spice. Great vibe, friendly service, and a creative menu. I'll definitely be back to try more!

I ordered ahead on their app which was really convenient. However, I was running late due to traffic coming from OC so I asked my sister to pick it up. She was also a bit late but when she got there, the staff was really nice and mindful. They wait to add ice and the cold foam just in case customers are running late, which I appreciated a lot because that was my main concern. I got the iced latte with peach cold foam and my sister got an iced lavender latte, both were VERY good and not artificial tasting at all! Overall great experience and yummy drinks

The cappuccino is absolutely delicious. Not acidic at all and very rich bodied. It comes out pretty quickly and it's a good sized portion--they fill it to the top. I also got a pastry (Danish) and parfait over here too. The pastry isn't too sweet and hits the spot. Very flaky and a bit messy but worth it. The parfait was a pleasant surprise. For such a small container, it had a good amount of granola. Great service. Quick. Overall, if you are looking to get a quick bit or coffee, this is it!

Seven Seas Coffee Roasters - Solana Beach, CA A long, well-earned salute to this veteran-owned coffee haven, where craftsmanship, character, and coastal calm meet in every cup. Seven Seas doesn't just roast coffee--they curate moments with exceptional service. Their brews offer tempting, nuanced flavor profiles, including a standout cherry-and-dark-chocolate sensation delivered through a silky-smooth pour that practically insists you slow down and appreciate the finer things in life. It's the kind of cup that halts you mid-sip, reminding you that being alive, awake, and fully present with good coffee in hand is one of the great simple luxuries. Step outside and you're right in the heart of Solana Beach's vibrant art and design district--perfect for wandering gallery to gallery, browsing unique clothiers, and hunting for rare finds as your mind unwinds and your senses stay delightfully engaged. Seven Seas is more than a coffee stop. It's a pause, a privilege, and a place to reset before continuing your coastal adventure.

On the hunt for a really delicious mocha, we stopped into this cafe, where our dreams were fulfilled. Serves in the most beautiful ceramic mug, we enjoyed a rich, velvety, creamy, smooth decaf mocha with whole milk. The foam was perfect and the artwork was so appealing. I love a dark, rich chocolaty flavor and this mocha did not disappoint. Limited seating out front. Cute walk up counter. Friendly and motivated staff who seem happy with their jobs. In an area with a lot of cafes ships, this one is a keeper.

I stopped by Seven Seas when I was craving a good iced latte and I was so excited when I saw their menu. First off, they had a seasonal winter menu with a variety of different drinks that all sounded so good. They had one inspired by the Samoa girl scout cookie that I will definitely be back to try. I was immediately sold on the Cherry Bomb latte on their main menu though. I love a chocolate fruit combo, especially in a latte and this one did not disappoint. The cherry flavor was subtle but present and the mocha was not too sweet at all! It had a lot going on but the coffee flavor was still able to shine through, 10/10. Secondly the staff was very kind and made the drinks super fast. I only had to wait a couple minute for my drinks, but there was seating out front and it was a beautiful day so it felt like no time at all. I will absolutely be back.

Yummy coffee. This is located in a place where you can get coffee and walk around. Parking can be hard to find. So plan for that. The food was yummy and coffee options were good. Their was a flavor I saw online they didn't have anymore. But I went with my classic vanilla latte with oatmilk and it was just as good. I will come back another time so I can try the seasonal drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful. Their wasn't seating inside, but a few tables and chairs outside. Its in a location that is best for outside coffee anyways.

The cherry bomb is my perfect drink. Subtle cherry flavor with chocolate and espresso. Even better that they had decaf espresso options. There's so many fun flavors to try and I can't wait to get the seasonal Girl Scout cookie flavors next.

We came here on a Saturday morning and found street parking right in front. This cute coffee shop has limited outdoor seating and also serves breakfast and ice cream. I ordered the Truffle Goat Avocado Toast and really enjoyed it--the thick bread and pickled onions were delicious. Service was good, and I'd love to come back to try another avocado toast and some ice cream next time.

Instead of treating customers with even basic courtesy, she was annoyed that anyone was there. A simple question was met with a nasty attitude, and the interaction left us feeling completely unwelcome. I saw her speak to other customers in the same manner, so it wasn't just us. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't any better. It was poorly made, tasted burnt and bitter, and wasn't worth finishing. For a coffee shop, that's the one thing that should be done well. There are plenty of other local cafés where you'll be treated with respect and get a much better cup of coffee. Only draw is the bunnies, who I really hope Samantha treats with more care and kindness than she does her customers; I honestly am concerned for their wellbeing after experiencing how Samantha treats people.

We each got to order a pot of tea, so we decided to order 5 different ones to try out more flavors together. The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait. All in all, I would definitely come back for another afternoon tea experience!
