Cozy quaint cafe that serves my favorite lavender lemonade and everything bagel with hot honey. Cute space offering Pac-Man, chess and calmness. Quick friendly services too. They seemed to have many regulars coming in, just put a smile on my face feeling the warmth of this place.
Great dark roast , have it black for a bright and bold morning awakening. Faraz is the owner who is friendly and offered suggestions on what to try . The vibe is laid back and cozy. The bagel with cream cheese was delicious. Ask for it toasted. You can play chess or other board games solve a large NYC puzzle or just do your work in a corner with no distractions. A real hidden gem as it's called !

The hidden Café is actually hidden, the entrance is in the back. There is a parking spots in the back of the lot, so I would advise parking back there. There is a lot of comfy seating, there is couches, there's tables, there's chairs that are perfect to lounge. The service is absolutely fantastic. The guy here is incredibly nice. He seems to be friendly with all his customers. He also gives great advice and insight, I felt very welcomed and like I belong here. I didn't have any food, but the blood orange lemonade is absolutely delicious, but I wasn't too big of a fan of the latte I got. But the vibes here are Check them out!
I was looking for a cute neighborhood coffee shop and more importantly, good coffee and stumbled upon this cafe! There are two entrances- one in the front and the back. The front entrance door seems to get stuck so just be sure to pull hard to open- I thought it might have been closed since I had gotten there just at opening time. My mom and I ordered hot lattes. I got the lavender latte with oat milk and my mom got a regular hot latte. I loved my drink! It wasn't overly sweetened and the lavender syrup was just right. The place has random seating and furniture all around for a funky vibe and the owner is super friendly and wants to get to know his customers!
I lovedddddd finding this spot! It's very much a hidden cafe, but well worth the tiny hunt to find it. They have plenty of tables, big cozy couches, nooks to read to chill or work, etc. they have strong wifi and outlets, making it a remote workers dream. And the plants and flowers everywhere make this bright, airy and spacious cafe even more wonderful. I tried the pistachio latte when I stopped in and it was like the perfect amount of fall coziness in a cup. The owner was there making delicious brews and chatting with customers, and I absolutely love what he's done with this great spot. I cannot wait to return!
True to its name, It's a Hidden Cafe is tucked away in its own little nook by a Dominos Pizza right off of Route 206 in Hillsborough. Be sure to park in the back, since as a first time visitor, I made the mistake of parking out front and having to walk around to the main entrance in the back. There wasn't too much of a pastry selection on a Saturday afternoon, so we wound up each getting a latte and a frosted donut to share. While I wouldn't consider either of them exceptional, both the latte and donut (4/5) were decent and hit the spot. The service (5/5) is what sets this coffee spot apart, as the owner is very friendly and engaging, serving up drinks in actual mugs and delivering ordered items to tables, whereas most places make you hover and take away your drink after it's prepared. There's plenty of spaces to relax inside, as many locals and students were doing when I stopped by. Overall, I'd rate It's a Hidden Cafe a 4.5/5, but happy to round up since the owner is super friendly and sets the bar a little higher for coffee shops by going the extra mile in serving drinks in mugs and delivering them to tables with a friendly smile. Drinks prices are reasonable as well since I know of several other places not too far away that charge anywhere from $1-3 more per drink.
I love this guy!!! Could that be my entire review? Because that's all that needs to be said. When you can actually find the place and get inside, as soon as you walk in, it's like you're transported to your college bestie's basement apartment and he makes you one of the best pistachio matcha lattes you've ever had. AND while he's making you the latte, y'all are both vibing out to some of the best mashups you've ever heard. This place is such a vibe.
Had the iced matcha and the espresso. The owner was super friendly. Strong wifi which makes this spot great for working. One thing to note, you don't pay until you're about to leave. Sort of like a bar tab but they don't take your card info. I almost left without paying and it seems like this happens often here? My tip to the owner would be to have people pay as they order to avoid this.

I have gotten the apple caramel latte on multiple occasions and cannot recommend it enough! It's a hidden cafe is open everyday from 9-5, and it always welcoming to people who want to get work done or just grab a latte with friends. If you find yourself in Hillsborough, make sure to wander off route 206 (just a little) and discover some "hidden" bliss. P.s. I'm still here and I couldn't wait to write a review. The place is so unexpected. They have their front entrance, and another one in the back, with extra parking space. Everyone is greeted with a hearty hello, and the owner seems like a genuinely friendly guy. The space is wonderful, it's a mix of your grandmother's house and a clean Japanese-esque aesthetic. They even have a retro mini Nintendo with a tube tv to play games on! We ordered a bread basket, a latte and a matcha latte. We were given a variety of spreads for the lightly toasted and warm bread, and the owner even brought us a couple of more pieces as he saw the two of us were sharing. The lighting is perfect, not too harsh and has a super cozy feel. And I love how clean everything is. We drank our drinks and ate our bread, all awhile playing chess. There are a few games scattered around, which allows you to stay awhile. My only negatives, are that we used plastic knives, which can be difficult to use with the butter, which was still a tad bit hard from refrigeration. And I'm not huge on single use plastics when I can avoid them. I also do wish that the lattes were less foamy, they were more on the cappuccino side, but were delicious, nevertheless. I wish I lived closer so I could come more often!
Truly a hidden cafe! It's in Hillsborough right behind the Dominos off of 206. It's a very cute cafe that has a simplistic, homey vibe. They even have a nintendo! My brother and I got the lavender latte and the matcha latte. Cold drinks are served in milkshake glasses and they're huge! We loved our drinks and got another one to go lol This cafe is definitely worth visiting, immaculate vibes
Food: we tried the bread with raspberry jelly, honey, or butter on the side. There are not many food options as of now, but the owner mentioned there will be more to come. Drinks: there are a good amount of tea and coffee options even a lavender lemonade that I am curious to try. The place just opened last week. It's nice to see that there are more cafes opening in the area. The owner is kind and conversational.
This place is very cool! The space is somehow both cold and cozy at the same time. Lots of games and activities for its patrons. The service was good, there was only one worker and it look a bit for us to get our drinks because she was both making drinks and taking orders. What we ordered: - Hojicha tea - Mojito Lemonade We didn't love our drinks but we also didn't hate them. My Mojito Lemonade didn't have a lot flavors of any kind. Not in lemony, minty, sugary - which is all the things I think it when I think of a mojito or lemonade. My husband got the hojicha iced tea. We've only ever had other hojicha in a latte and asked if they made those but was told that they didn't. It was not bad by any means just different. I didn't know what to really expect but look forward to coming back to try other items but they do have a lot of offer. read more

The food & stale flavors is the main reason I have to give this cafe a 3. The pastries are NOT fresh/baked in house, the apple turnovers are the same as Shoprite's but were unfortunately much staler than the ones in store and its texture and taste seemed like it were from the day prior. It's completely okay for the pastries being outsourced but at the end of the day, it either tastes good or doesn't and unfortunately, for its a hidden cafe it was one disappointment after the next when it came to the food. Also, the cost of one shoprite apple turnovers from the cafe buys you the whole case at shoprite which is *actually* the same exact food. The breakfast sandwich was the most unflavorful and bland breakfast sandwich I've ever had, counting both outside and even at home. It was difficult to take a third or fourth bite of any of the food. The coffee also did not stand out to me in any way. Coming in very hungry, I was excited and while food typically tastes better when hungry, I just couldn't enjoy it. with this experience, I have to give the food a 2/5 If you're looking for a spot to hangout or get some work in, I'd say it's worth visiting. It is decorated nicely and has board games and a decent amount of seating and some mini tables. It looks like a feel good place people can stop by to sit and relax for a little bit. Service is fine, the owner is chill and nice to talk to. read more

Look for the Domino's Pizza, pull in, and drive to the back for the main entrance to the cafe. its a hidden cafe is a calming oasis of a space, beautifully designed with fun features, and a great owner churning out delicious drinks from a simple menu. Don't let the menu fool you, there is plenty to choose from and each caffeinated beverage is prepared with the utmost care and attention. Through the Yelp Elite "For Latte Lovers @ it's a hidden cafe" event, we got to enjoy a complimentary latte and I was so excited to see peanut butter as an option for flavor, which is one of 10 flavor offerings. Coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, and more plus dairy free milk options are available. There is quite a robust instant ramen selection available to pair with your beverage. There is also colorful artwork, an old-school Nintendo system & box TV for some retro nostalgia, and an art station make it a perfect way to escape and relax. The owner encouraged us to say hello to other Yelpers enjoying the experience and it was a wonderfully friendly crowd. Best of all, leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside! read more

Owner welcomed us as soon as we came through the door. Very friendly and personable. First time in cafe and I felt comfortable. Had the maple latte (hot) and my MIL had the toasted Marshmallow latte (cold) . Both very good coffees. read more
What an interesting vibe. There used to be a dearth of cafes in this part of the state, not anymore. The funky hidden cafe with many drinks and baked goods. Couches, chairs, high top tables. Board games and a retro NES. Coffee was excellent, on point. We had the pistachio gluten free donuts, moist, lots of pistachios. They have their own parking behind the building. Service - excellent. We had a fun conversation with the person working the counter, which added to our experience. read more

Overall: Definitely visit! It's very new and I'd love to see this place flourish, so I can keep coming back for a long time haha Service: I've taken a break from writing reviews but this place had the most caring and kind service I've experienced in a while so I left needing to review this place. Service like this is so rare and needs to be highlighted where it exists! The goods: I had the turmeric latte and spearmint tea. This isn't your typical kind of teas. There was something special about each that I couldn't quite place. Like some kind of essence or oil or something extra was added. No clue but the spearmint tea opened my sinuses but wasn't too bitter either, tasted just right! Ambiance: Clean and comfy! Lots of light too! Fresh flowers and candlelight to boot. Loved the feels. Amazing customer service. Greeted with such gratitude as soon as I walked in. The environment is very soothing and relaxing. The decor is so cute with a bunch of little artwork and plants. The surplus amount of comfortable couches to sit on are amazing. There is also a long table with chairs provided if anyone is interested in doing work on a laptop or to eat. The food is quite scrumptious too. Definitely a great place to unwind, have a good drink and snack, converse and get some work done. read more

The cutest cafe I've been to in so long!! The staff is so nice and sweet and they have tables to do work and couches and chairs to sit and chat. Me and my friends did some school work there for hours and it was such good vibes. Everything was very chill and they had some candles burning, chill music playing and even the other customers were very respectful of everyone around them. We're always looking for new cafes to sit and chill at and this is definitely a new staple for us! Also the coffee is amazing and they have cute little mugs and glasses for hot or cold drinks. They also have really interesting and fun latte flavors as well as nice classics read more

I love supporting independently-owned businesses from people in their own communities! Great space for hanging out or working remotely (large table, windows, armchairs), good music, ample parking in rear, fair prices, and had a great matcha latte. The owner is super accommodating, too. Highly recommended! read more
