Teach your staff customer service. Instead of acknowledging the customers in line, the two chicks currently working check time stamp, turned their backs and rolled their eyes at the customers in line. And they only had 3 orders. They were intentionally being slow and ignoring customers. Everyone started walking away. If 2 people can't handle 3 customers, they need a new job! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! NETTE who seems to be the manager first of all too old to be working from the looks. Never even greeted me..then doing everything slow motion.. the little short nonverbal young "too cute to POOOT" and BIG bifocal wearing BUG who seems to just take orders from the old lady " just works there " entire staff needs to be terminated immediately before the entire franchise be low on customers. Entire restaurant felt awkward and dark the entire staff was extremely rude to me several visits and one of the times I was assisting the company with simple DOORdashes! Went inside because I had a gift card. I order a mocha frap with 2 shots of espresso almost every day! Went inside because I had an online gift card... long story short, they messed up my drink but didn't serve it. They served the next 2 people behind me their drinks then proceeded to make my drink "correctly"... it has no espresso when they serve it and a lousy whip cream job LOL! I told the barista there was no espresso in it and offered to give me 2 espresso shots to dump on top of my frozen drink. I laughed and walked out! Pricey? Yes. But that's a given for Starbucks. You can really only rate the quality and service here. The sandwiches and coffee are quite superb here. You come out smelling like coffee, but it's because their coffee is so strong in taste, which is a good thing. The only minor issue I had was with the drive-thru. The service through that outlet was a bit slow and could be improved because it's not a location that should honestly have a drive thru due to it's location in the strip of businesses, so it backs up a bit into the parking lot. All in all, a good experience though. read more

So everyone knows Starbucks. Hell, there are 2 more Starbucks locations within a mile of this store (one is in Target, the other is in the Market Fresh grocery store). But I really enjoy this location. It is close to my house and on the way to work (well just a half mile out of the way), the employees are friendly and there is a drive thru. The staff really make this store great. I don't frequent it enough for them to know my order as soon as I walk in the door, but I have noticed there are several other customers who are regulars and the employees know their drink order. They are always super friendly and I sometimes get sucked into their suggestions for treat along with my coffee. This morning I stopped in for a caffeine fix and an apple fritter with my Starbucks gift card. I only had $5 left on the card, leaving me 34 cents short. But the nice guy working the register just took it out of the tip jar so I didn't have to put 34 cents on my credit card. I did put the 20ish pennies I had in my purse and will be sure to leave a proper tip the next time I'm in. The drive thru can sometimes get backed up during the morning rush hour, but it does move quickly or you can park and go inside and it's pretty quick. I've never seen both the drive thru and inside busy at the same time. read more

The staff here is always friendly and quick. There's not a lot if space inside the store, so it can be challenging if you want to meet here with someone. Particularly if you want to meet with more than two people. And it's very busy, so the drive-thru line is always long. No matter the time of day. So be prepared to wait. They do have a big selection of goodies, though. And clean bathrooms!! Yay! read more

This is the absolute worst Starbucks, if I could give 0 stars, I would. I have never had a good experience at this store. I worked for the company for 9 years and m ow the standards a d this store does not keep up on them, my drink is always wrong, the cost is inconsistent, I've encountered several rude partners (employees). I went in to get my drink remade once and the manager did offer me a card for a free drink but the remake was wrong and so was the free drink the following day. I only visit this location when other stores are not an option but I would be better off skipping my caffeine fix altogether, I'm always disappointed. Here I am once again drinking my poorly made coffee in a messy cup. So sad to see as a former partner who took pride in my work and the brand for so long. read more

This is my go-to Starbucks! It's close to home, the service is almost always very fast and very courteous and the drinks are made the same each time. That's really what's most important to me in chain, consistency. I don't want a watered down frapp, or an iced tea lemonade that's too sweet. When I come to this location I get exactly what I want, each and every time! read more

You'll find me here Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays on way to work. The drive-thru is busy, but efficient. The staff is friendly (even if I do get harassed about my MSU credit card:) ) and the drinks are prepared well. They do have a tendency to run out of the breakfast sandwiches, which is a teeny tiny bit frustrating... but what can you do! I probably dont' really NEED need one anyway. I also prefer to stop in here when I'm Targeting across the street... a stand-alone Starbucks is ALWAYS better than a Target Starbucks :) read more

Went in and asked for a small cup of the Gold Coast Roast, they were out so he said it will be just a minute while he brews another batch. I had no problem waiting as I work down the street and was quite early. About 2-3 minutes later the employee handed me the biggest cup of coffee I've seen and told me have a nice day...I said sir I need to pay...He responded "oh no it's policy you asked for a cup and we were out so it's on the house. I go to this Starbucks quiet often and its one of the best ones in the area. They are always fast and friendly. Its literally at max a 5-7 minute turn around time in the morning when I get my coffee and oatmeal. I would highly recommend this Starbucks over the others in the area. read more

The drive through location on southfield tempted me once. I always wanted my venti skinny carmel latte ala drive through window. This is my favorite Starbucks. Everyone who works here is very friendly. The best part about this place is that it has a drive-thru, which moves pretty quickly. The location is great because it's on the way to I-696. I wish this one was 24-hours, but if you are looking for a 24-hour Starbucks there is one on Woodward just a few miles away. Starbucks is Starbucks. My last two experiences here have left a bad taste in my mouth. I went about two weeks ago and ordered a tall Pikes (which I'm pretty sure is the most popular blend) and an iced tea lemonade and they were out of Pikes. And then the gentleman that took my order rang me up and then left. Typically if you order a drip coffee the person on the register gets it while the other Barista makes the more complicated drinks. And today when I went through the drive thru to order an iced tea lemonade they were out of lemonade. I will not be returning. read more
