Our visit to the Sparta nj Starbucks drive through today needs to be shared. We got there today at exactly 10:20 this morning and Suzanne rang us up. Both our drinks tasted abnormal from the get go. The cups wreaked of perfume. It was like perfume was rubbed all over our cups of salted caramel cold brew and an iced matcha latte. Which was packed to the top with ice. But the cups and lids had a strange perfume smell on them. We were the only people going through at that time. This totally enraged us. Are you kidding me. read more

A quick, clean, and efficient Starbucks. There was a long line for the drive-through, but I decided to do a mobile order & pick-up instead, and it was so easy! Currently the store is open for drive-through orders and pick-ups in the store; masks/face coverings are required inside. When I went in to pick up my drink, it felt very clean and there were space markings to remind customers to social distance (for the health of both the customers and employees). I really enjoyed my past weekend's visit to the Starbucks in Sparta. The long awaited Starbucks is pretty amazing with a drive through window, roomy comfortable seating, and mobile payments. It's disappointing to have to write this review because I love Starbucks. I order from this location almost daily and sometimes more than once per day. I usually have a pleasant experience but today's experience forced me to write a 1 star review. I sent my daughter to grab us two drinks. When she got to the window, the baristas removed the lid and poured out a good 2inches of her drink before handing it to her. My daughter then asked her, why did you pour it out and her response was "this is not a TikTok hack", to which my daughter said "what do you mean, I watched you pour it out, I order this coffee every day, what does TikTok have to do with it" to which she responded "if you want extra you have to order it". My daughter then said, "I did, I paid for a Grande iced drink." The girl then started laughing at her with a friend. She drove home and told me. I tried calling the store and asked for a manager, whoever answered laughed with someone in the background and said no one can come to the phone now, we're busy and hung up on us. They were very apologetic and gave me a new drink without issue, but when they gave me the second drink, it was made according to the standard recipe, and not with the modifications I had requested and paid for. Overall, this is an a bad Starbucks, but figuring out where to park can be a little awkward, and although it would've been great to have my drink the way I ordered it, it didn't ruin my day. read more

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to and even though it is the closest and most convenient location to my house I will never go back. I went to the drive thru this afternoon to grab a quick drink. I waited 27 minutes stuck in the drive thru with no way to get out (yes I timed it because I have a 15 month old who was in the backseat screaming his head off the entire time). They were out of 5 refreshers, had no oat milk, no egg bites. When I finally got my drink (with no apology for the ridiculous wait) and pulled ahead I looked down and it wasn't even the correct drink. I called the business number and reiterated this story and said I couldn't wait in the line again and couldn't come in because of said screaming baby and the woman who answered the phone told me 'if you're just calling to tell us it was a disaster that's pretty rude.' I always have a great drive thru experience, but every time I do a mobile pick up it is always an unpleasant experience. The orders continue to move from a designated pick up location which makes the overall experience inconsistent, no one is greeted, and everyone just seems "too busy" to help you so when you ask for your mobile order you are treated as if you are bothering the staff. Today I had a difficult interaction since the music was so loud that the staff could not even hear me stating the name that my order was under. The order was incomplete and the staff member ignored me and walked away. I had to wait AGAIN for the person to walk back to the pick up section to tell them I was missing a drink. I think lowering the music and reminding the staff that this is supposed to be a friendly experience could make a huge difference. read more

First off, one of the cappuccinos I ordered was filled up half way, maybe even less than half way, which is unacceptable to me considering the price I paid for the coffee. I've only been through the drive through of Starbucks, but every I've had was immaculate. I imgaine the inside is clean, nice, organized, and gives off "Girl meets world" vibes. The drive through... so fricken slow, I get its the new popping place to be but I shouldnt havd to wait 8 minutes to get a lemonade and an overpriced cake pop (which is totally worth it though). I will say they have never spelt my name wrong and my drinks are always the three C's; correct, cold, and cute. Overall out of 5 I'm giving them a 3 soley for the main purpose that I have to sit in my car and wait for my drinks while partially dehydrated. This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I have gotten what is supposed to be a cocoa cloud macchiato and it is straight macchiato w ice. I recently did a mobile order at the new Starbucks in Sparta. When I arrived there was a woman who had entered before me waiting to pick up her mobile order. There were six employees behind the counter, one was standing by the register, which there was nobody in line ordering, another was standing there looking at us waiting by the mobile order pickup area, and every once in a while putting the order stickers on the cups. One was was walking back and forth with a bag full of coffee cup lids, I'm assuming to look busy, one was taking the drive through orders and two were actually making the drinks. The woman and I stood there with everyone looking at us, but no one asking us what we were picking up, this went on for about 5 minutes. I finally got feed up and walked over to the register as if I was going to order, and told the employee behind the counter that myself and the woman standing by the mobile order pickup have been waiting to get our drinks. The employee told me to give her a moment and that she would look to see if our drinks were ready. I work in this area alot, but I will not be returning there for food or drinks anytime soon.
