I visited this location on Nov 13 for CupDay, and it was anything short of busy! It's become a tradition every year that we must collect their seasonal cup give away which is also reusable! The coffee cafe was packed, and noisy! It was kept clean, and things were flowing in an orderly fashion. I placed my order for a holiday drink, and received my free holiday cup. The wait time was about 8-10min. I also tried a banana nut loaf, which was moist and delicious! It was a great time, and, it was also my birthday same day, so my holiday drink was comped! As much as I tend to complain about the price of coffee in Starbucks, I don't seem to be able to stay away from it. As if there is a message etched in my brain (like order 66 for the Star Wars junkies) that no matter where I am and what I am doing, as soon as I smell fresh brewed coffee, I close my eyes, extend my arms and stump like Frankenstein's monster, repeating "must...drink...coffee". And you better keep small children out of my way or they will be trampled upon, because I am taking the shortest path to the source of the aroma, which is typically Starbucks. In the airport, in the mall, in Barnes and Noble, it really doesn't matter, gimme my coffee. There is nothing worse than getting to your seat on a plane, and the person next to you bring a hot cup of coffee from Starbucks, and the entire flight you are eyeing that drink, thinking "I'd like to have what she is having" I don't even bother to ask for the price anymore, why ruin the experience. It is as if I am Dr. Jackyll and this magical liquid potion will keep Mr. Hyde away a bit longer (or maybe it is the other way around ). Thank God beer does not have the same aroma or I would be an alcoholic, no questions asked. What is intriguing about Starbucks is that it is inviting. Pull up a chair, if you are in a bookstore, grab something to read, relax, and let the coffee wash your worries away. This specific location, before COVID, used to have a set of games you could pick up and play. I used to pick up Trivia Pursuit and challenge myself. You never know when you may end up on Jeopardy. I believe they used to have game nights and after certain hour, they would serve wine as well. What a concept! The place is still neat, clean, and inviting, but the games are gone, and, for the most part, so has the crowd. It used to get so crowded you couldn't find a place to sit. But the coffee is still good and I am sure things start getting back to how they used to be. read more

So my new local Starbucks closest to my work. Last Friday first visit place was empty and very large place inside. I ordered a skinny hot chocolate. It took awhile for the drink to be made. Once I got it tasted okay it's Starbucks hot chocolate so the taste is predictable not the best but better than a packet made with hot water. This Friday I try something different and order from the mobile app figured it would be a shorter wait. Well guess what Skinny Hot Chocolate isn't even an option?! If you investigate further they don't even carry the sugar free syrups to make it. So really I am just getting 450 calories and no out of this world experience. I will limit my visits to an occasional cappuccino. If you want a truly special hot chocolate experience I suggest the mix sold at Williams Sonoma it truly is a memorable experience and worth the splurge and the calories. read more

Starbucks is complete shit now when it comes to birthday rewards because he was only allowed to use his like 2 days before his birthday. Mine has been only day of the past couple of years. Anyway, due to working throughout the pandemic, I did not get out much so it is always a learning experience when shopping anywhere and being aware of what the store's policies are regarding COVID protocols. In this Starbucks, you were required to wear a mask and social distance when we went. Of course there is always someone who's feels they are above the rules. The staff here were pleasant and you could tell they looked defeated by shitty customers. Hubs ordered his usual dark roast, which of course they did not have and offered a pour over. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte that I usually customize. I'm diabetic so I only get 1-2 pumps of pumpkin syrup on a Venti size coffee. We looked over the merchandise while we waited for our coffees. Everything looked neat and clean in the store. Due to COVID, there was not anything located at the mixer station. Our coffees came out rather quickly and we left the store immediately after. The indoor seating was closed off to customers. We went at a good time because several patrons entered right after we left. I visited here years ago and they served beer and wine but I guess they no longer do. read more

Everyone there in line stand within their sticker :) That being said, the guy behind the counter was indeed fun to talk to ! There was a guy who ordered via through the phone, came and grabbed his coffee. The guy behind the counter knew his name. Oh ma goodness, I thought that was so sweet of him. He even told me that "I must remember everyones name that come here frequently" So, I gave him my name "well my name is Kara". Towards the end; heading out with my coffee, he says "Goodbye Kara!" Come to think of it, I wish I knew the guy's name behind the counter, Grrr. I decided to try something new, in which a a fellow Yelper told me about via Compliment. The fellow Yelper shared with me: "I always order venti iced espresso with 3 blonde shots, cold foam, your choice of milk, 2 pumps of white mocha, & 2 pumps of whatever I feel like. Sometimes it's vanilla sauce, pumpkin spice sauce, or brown sugar. Try it !! I hope you like it ! =)" I ordered a small, 3 blonde shots, cold foam was vanilla, almond milk, 2 pumps of white mocha, and 2 pumps of brown sugar! I went the small because I wanted to try it out. If I got a venti, I would be upset that I wasted it :( However, next time I will order venti I enjoyed the recommendation!!! It was sure a waker upper for me. During our move recently, we stopped at one of our regular locations in Sunrise, but their hours have been reduced, so they were closed by 7:00. Fortunately for us, we passed this Starbucks that I had forgotten sits in the shopping strip in front of IKEA. They don't have a drive-thru option and as tired as I was, I had to take everyone's order and go inside, but the store was immaculate and the attendants were superb. They practiced all of the coronavirus safety protocols and went beyond what I expected to make a substitution on a drink of choice. Although a drive-thru is always my preference, I will surely consider the small inconvenience over the great customer experience here! read more

I ordered on the app. Instead of an apology, the shift manager Winnie was very rude and began telling me I should have called then. Winnie I work. Sorry I didn't have time after racing back to my office either day. But I am calling and you are most pugnacious and inhospitable now. You're telling me what to do NEXT time. How about NEXT time do it correctly, so I need not call and can enjoy what I've paid for. Novel idea Winnie. Went in person to return her drink. Videoed the exchange. Winnie lies. According to her, however, she's been told by someone to antagonize instead of resolving. When I asked her to produce the policy that says a customer has a timeline by which to call, she said there isn't one. So Winnie and person who told her to say that -- get it together. I let her know customer service is more important than 7 or 8 dollars. I won't pay to be mistreated. This point went over her head. So I left the disgusting drink on the counter and told her to keep it. In one final antagonistic shout, she stood behind the cash register and yelled out loudly after I had reached the exit "have a nice day." I need Starbucks to work on teaching their staff conflict management and de-escalation strategies. From phone to finish they are a complete fail. read more

Slowest Starbucks I've encountered yet in south Florida and the employees are not even apologetic. I've been here over ten minutes waiting for my cheese danish . I asked about it after five minutes and the woman behind the counter gave me an attitude and said she had a bunch of mobile orders come in before me. Finally after 15 minutes I got my danish and I had to rush to my morning meeting. I LOVE Starbucks and I am a loyal customer. Usually employees are super friendly and if there is a delay they will apologize. Starbucks needs to hire more workers for this location and stop prioritizing phone orders to in store orders... The staff at this location is amazing. They are always super speedy with mobile orders. Even when it's busy they are timely and always offer to remake items if they're wrong. The parking situation is tricky and sometimes the tables are a little sticky but it's a high volume store so that's expected. Truly can't say enough nice things about the morning staff! Ordered a coffee and paid $4 in up charges go to pick it up, my $13 coffee is wrong no cold foam, no caramel, but they put cinnamon which was not apart of my drink or order. Asked if they could fix it and they dumped half out and start putting a different type of cold foam in. I asked if they could make a new one because I don't like cinnamon in my coffee, they start arguing with me telling me I'm wrong and they personally made it and there's no cinnamon. As I enter a Starbucks, I have certain expectations. This location is no different. It is the closest Starbucks to my office so it's a great meeting place. On entry, the cushy seating is to the left, shopping to the right... keep going and you'll be able to get your fix! The display case has all of the treats to entice you while you wait. The service is usually quick and pleasant. I can't comment on peak times as I would avoid coming into any Starbucks (I really don't like long lines not specifically a Starbucks thing). I have seen multiple times where this locations coffee station is in need of cleaning (and this is not at peak times) so I think they could do a better job here. Some favorites hot/ice white chocolate mocha, ice caramel macchiato, vanilla bean frap, green tea frap, and passion fruit tea with lemonade and 1 shot of vanilla! Super busy location at those special hours, after work, before work rush, but you can order ahead in the Starbucks app. My favorite spot for free WiFi and studying especially when I was in school. Paperwork and office work can be done here if you don't mind music which can sometime seem louder in the night time hours. Opens early in weekdays and opens late until 11PM for those determined study-ers. Weekends of course are shorter hours. Not open on most national holidays. Ideal Starbucks location for an ikea date. read more

Many times the difference in Baristas makes a difference in how your coffee turns out.
