This location is convenient when I am in the area...shared parking lot with AT&T (which closed earlier in the year), so more available parking now. Usually order online and go to pick up on the weekends but it does get busy at certain times. So timing is everything. There is available seating as well. Staff is friendly and service relative quick. I've noticed that prices vary at every Starbucks location. Glad they usually have items I want to purchase - from bakery, protein boxes to beverages! Glad they recently re-opened back again since COVID shutdown for take out and mobile order. One person at a time inside right at the entrance to help protect the staff. Seating is not available at this time. Hopefully they will extend star expiration past Jun 1st given not easy to get to all locations if not drive thru and pick up only at specific locations. I popped in here to put my laptop onto the Internet, to charge up my phone and to get a coffee to charge up "me". The place was almost completely taken up by a couple groups of high school kids using it for their study area, so I ended up having to share a table with another patron. There was only one available power outlet. Otherwise, it was the same Starbucks configuration that I have encountered often - coolers of drinks and pastries and a counter with a barista who is happy to prepare an overpriced and overroasted coffee product. I've recently switched to the "Blonde" brewed coffee with tastes much better than other *$ products. Give it a try. read more

Guy at register rude No greeting no thank you Wasn't logged in to register just turns his back as I am stating my order and yells for someone to help him log in and turns back around ignored me for another minute and then says what do you need The I normally tip And as he is dropping the change into my hand he seemed to purposely dump on counter No apology just a command to step down to the end So easy enough no tip for them and warn others of what to expect when you go to this establishment. This Starbucks was really disappointing. I came here about 1:20 pm last Saturday and they were out of every Refresher except Very Berry Hibiscus. Then they didn't include any berries in it- I wish they told me they were out of those too instead of just not including them and still charging the full amount. The layout here is all sorts of off. It's so big, yet there are so few tables and the coffee section is back in a corner. It's not a fun place to sit for conversation or to bust out some work. The atmosphere itself is, well, off as well. It's quite dark and uninviting. Parking is poor as they're aren't enough spots and it's hard to head west or south leaving, while also hard to get in from the east or north. I can't imagine how many times the moms of Syosset must bust up the Mercedes leaving the lot. Coffee itself tastes like standard 'bucks fare. Need that cup? You'll be OK. Want to hang or be in-and-out? Ye might have some issues here. Powermove: grab a coffee and get some work done at the library down the street. It's a much better spot. read more

This is by far the most disappointing Starbucks I have ever went to. The employees have a bad energy and are constantly getting orders wrong. Not only do they pay little attention to the customers, they also pay no attention to how they make the drinks. For a place that assures quality, the drinks are subpar and the employees extremely slow, careless, and sloppy. Customers deserve the treatment and quality that they pay for. I must remember to drive to the Woodbury location because this one, a) never gets an order right and b) the baristas are always busy chatting with co-workers rather than prioritizing the customer's order. And, this time it was with a manager .... argh! You think he could have made my drink before taking his time filling the beans .... the place was empty. This store is the most convenient location based on distance but I will stop ordering from there. Several times drinks are awfully prepared. I ordered a white chocolate micha with whipped cream and sparkles, neither whipped cream nor sparkles. Same order, Irish cream cold brew with extra foam, looks more like a super diluted iced late (see picture). I am not a big coffee drinker and hardly drink it at all. Once in a while ill go in for a cappuccino and a chocolate brownie. Brownies are really good. I go in a lot more in the summer as i do like the Mocha Frappuccino. I would say most Starbucks i have been to are about the same. Service is always good and generally in and out in a few minutes. I come to this location mostly out of necessity as it's around the corner from my house, but the Woodbury location in Woodbury Village is the most neat/efficient one compared to Syosset and Plainview. There is ALWAYS a line or wait to order at the Syosset spot, the staff is always procrastinating and never seem to be focused on getting the customers served on time. They don't appear to have mastered the "take orders, be friendly, fix the drink" process and often look like it's their first day at work. I've taken to mobile ordering so i don't have to wait 20 minutes for something that should take 5. But even that takes a while. The condiment bar is rarely clean, filled or organized. While there are a select few that help to keep this place running, I feel that this location just cannot get its staffing right despite its few years in business. For a Starbucks that serves a community of people who mostly commute to NYC during the week for work, the difference is startling in the quality/speed of service between the Syosset Starbucks and one on 7th Avenue and 32nd (which IMO is the best in the city). read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks in town. All the workers are so rude and have no skill in talking to actual human beings. The cashier with the purple hair actually has issues when it comes to talking to a customer. Aside from being rude to customers, I saw the guy barista using a nasty milk soaked towel to clean the steam pipe ugh. On top of all that, they suck at making drinks. This Starbucks is great. I come there 3-4 times a week just for the same thing - an iced coffee (sometimes with different milks or versions but always just iced coffee) - and the staff is very friendly, always makes the drink well, even when I feel rude asking for extra ice. The place is very clean and it's a nice space to sit down and relax if you need to. The only issue I had (and I say that in the past tense because this was the first issue I've had here, and I don't find anything else to be negative about this Starbucks) was today. I work in a building that, without traffic, would take me 30 seconds to get to from this Starbucks without hitting a traffic light or two...it's legitimately right down the road. I do my best to manage my time and get my coffee 10-15 minutes before work, just to have a time cushion. I got there at 1:45 p.m., having to be at work at 2:00 p.m. It just so happened that about 5-6 other people came in at exactly the same time, but here's where I was kind of frustrated. With 4 other staff members behind the counter, they had one woman making every drink - all I ordered was an iced coffee...quick, simple, in and out, and while usually everything is fine, the rest of the people behind the counter stood around while the one person made every drink (I'd say 6 or 7)...I really thought I timed things out and don't want to sound snobby...it's just that I wished that maybe another barista could've helped out with the drink orders to get things running faster...I wound up waiting 15 minutes for an iced coffee. That's just the issue I had...hopefully the staff sees this and takes it into consideration! Other than that, like I said, the place is great - the staff, quality, atmosphere...everything. This one instance just was frustrating and hopefully they do a little better with having more people make drinks at the same time - I think that people go to Starbucks more often than not when they are in a time crunch and just need coffee quickly, and the place is known for fast service...I don't think I should have to wait 15 minutes for an iced coffee that should take maybe 1 minute. read more

A good selection of mugs and coffee/tea accessories, always a new blend of coffee beans in stock. Me and my girlfriend frequent this Starbucks a lot, and after coming to the same place for so long, you start to see the flaws of other Starbucks locations. I generally come here twice a week. When you work in the trucking industry its hard to find breakfast at 4-5am in the morning. Usually the crew in there is absolutely awesome. So i walked in at 5:26am the door was open so I walked in. I said oh are you open yet. I was greeted with no we forgot to lock the door leave. I said oh Im sorry what time do you open? 530am they said while snickering at me like I was stupid. I walked out and they were making comments? Seriously??? Immature employees to say the least. I went to this Starbucks with my niece, and the workers were screaming and laughing in the back kitchen, and the front desk/kitchen area. I thought this was distasteful, disrespectful, unprofessional, and over all a red flag. I will also mention, my niece ordered a refresher with NO lemonade, and the workers rudely added lemonade after I specifically ordered it without. My favorite Starbucks in the area! Staff is friendly, and very accommodating. There is more space to move around, do work, be social, and even study compared to the Woodbury & Jericho locations. If your drink is not perfect, the staff don't mind fixing it and/or giving you another drink. They are the best!!! There are more tables than the Jericho & Woodbury locations to plug in a laptop, and their wifi works without any trouble! Bathrooms are always clean, and if the Starbucks gets too loud, the staff don't mind telling the patrons to quiet down a little, if there are people studying. They make their drinks well, and always with a smile. Only drawback is that sometimes at peak hours its hard to find parking especially with ID salon, but if you have a minute or two, someone is bound to come out, and you'll get a spot fairly quickly! read more

But please, for the love of caffeine, have some INKLING of urgency. And this is not in an absolute sense - I'm judging in comparison to Woodbury, to Jericho, to Plainview, to Bethpage. This particular store is a time sink. Like a singularity of spacetime slowness. So few f*s given, they pull in f*s from the surrounding area & hoard them, never to be released.
