No line today!! Normally there's one around the block but that's okay it's just a survival of the fittest type deal. They were out of what we normally get but they recommended a new drink that is genuinely so tasty (brown sugar oat milk espresso with chai) so thank you xoxo kisses for that barista and her rec. C.J. at the window was rad and super friendly.

This location is either a "love it" or "hate it" Starbucks. As mentioned by Michelle K, the store received a facelift about two months ago. A facelift for the better, I might add. The old booths have been replaced by decorative tables and chairs, bringing a more contemporary look and feel to the atmosphere. I work nearby, so I've gotten to know the employees a bit more. I've always had great service, but often times you're going to have to wait for your drink. It doesn't help that customers are preemptively impatient due the lack of parking, the shape of the drive thru and THE WORST curb/bump upon entering on all of Tennessee Street. The majority of the time, these guys get it right. Hence, the A-OK.

Went there to get a quick meal and got a racial profiled. Isa was so rude and made my day trouble. I drove up to Starbucks in a happy mood ready to tip and she move the tip jar away from me. I literally can't believe she work in the most diverse part of town and acts like that. I feel bad for everyone working with her. She needs to be fired honestly.

To me, the first day of fall is when I drink my first pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks. Today was that day my friends! I gathered a group of my closest gfs and went to the nearest Starbucks to enjoy our PSLs together. Starbucks has modified everyone's favorite drink by adding actual pumpkin to its equation to give it that extra punch of fall that nobody believe could happen but it totally did! This location has had a face-lift for the better! Its outside matches its insides with a sleek and welcoming atmosphere. Though the inside sitting is a little cramped they offer a rather large patio for guest to enjoy. The parking is still limited but we were able to find prime parking since we went during off hours.

Great Starbucks. The employees were very kind, the place is clean, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and my drink was made very quickly. The only downside to this location is the fact that it's on a busy street and there is very minimal parking. Other than that, this is a great place to chill or study.

A chorizo breakfast sandwich; though prepackaged for each Starbucks, they do taste good, and I often have to stop myself from ordering one.

A bit of a disclaimer before I begin: though I am tempted to give this Starbucks a 5 star rating, I must admit that I am somewhat biased, as I frequently visit this location due to its proximity to my apartment and to FSU. Regardless, I will attempt to review this establishment as honestly and fairly as possible. First and foremost, the obvious: this is a Starbucks. It's the coffee equivalent of a fast food chain, and if you're looking for the absolute best product quality you're far better off going to a local café that roasts their beans in-house instead. Though this is more so a reflection of Starbucks' corporate policies rather than a critique of this individual location, the honest truth is that you're drinking stale coffee every time you visit a Starbucks. Coffee beans only stay fresh for 7-10 days after being roasted, and because Starbucks roasts their beans en masse in designated facilities, their beans will often sit in a bag for around a month before being used. At the risk of sounding too pedantic, this noticeably impacts the coffee's flavor. If you're looking for the absolute best cup of coffee, Tallahassee mainstays like Lucky Goat will give you a better product for your money, and won't serve you stale beans. All this being said, we go to Starbucks for convenience and familiarity, not necessarily for fresh coffee. We're looking for the same quality of service and uniformity of product each time we go. In that regard, this Starbucks stacks up rather nicely: the drinks and food they serve are of the same caliber that you'd expect from any of their other stores. While service can be somewhat slow, particularly for the drive-through during peak hours, the baristas are always friendly and several have taken the time to know me by name, which further adds to the inviting atmosphere this location aims to provide. The warmth of the modern decor makes you want to stay and study, or just to hang out for a while to be out of the house. I've also personally noticed an increased effort at maintaining cleanliness as well, which is always appreciated. They give off the air of a business that wants you to keep coming back. Ironically, the physical constraints of this location are what is most likely to deter you from doing so, and why this Starbucks might not be for everyone. The building itself is rather small, and interior seating is limited; at peak hours, it's nearly impossible to find a place to sit inside. Though there's amble outside seating, this isn't always a viable option due to the weather here in Florida, and there's a fair chance that you'll be forced to go elsewhere to enjoy your purchase depending on what time of day you stop by. The parking lot is also cramped and at times awkward to navigate, especially if you have a larger vehicle. Further compounding this issue is the short length of the drive-through itself, often causing traffic to back up on Tennessee St. as cars try to pull into the lot. It's far from ideal and can be incredibly frustrating for all parties. Also worthy of inclusion in this review is the relatively high turnover of staff; depending on how often you frequent this location, it's likely that you'll spot a new face or two when you enter, though I suspect that this is because the majority of the employees are students who may come and go as semesters change. To sum things up: this location provides the level of quality that you'd expect from a Starbucks in terms of its product, and I personally feel that service is lovely as a regular patron. The location of the store is ideal, being close to FSU and right alongside a major Tallahassee thoroughfare, but the limited space of the building itself and its parking lot may be enough to convince you to visit any of the other Starbucks throughout town instead. To leave you with a hypothetical anecdote, if I decide to one day move to another part of Tallahassee, I can't say that I'll make the effort to drive across town for this particular Starbucks; I will, however, miss the atmosphere and the people I've come to enjoy by dining here. Do with this what you will.

I didn't realize that with the new menu changes, ordering a lox bagel meant all assembly required-- by the customer. I received a plastic to-go box with a toasted bagel, a ramekin of cream cheese, a ramekin mixture of capers and onions, and smoked salmon wrapped in a deli sheet. I was puzzled and asked for clarification from a sales associate, as the order was not to-go. I want to stress the fact that there was no negligence whatsoever on the part of the employee-- she's great and always makes my day when I see she's working. However, I find it to be quite a bizarre policy to require a guest to construct their own sandwich. Part of the reason people dine out is to be cared for and have a stress-free morning. It was also a waste of plastic cutlery, as I used a single knife to spread cream cheese and tossed the unneeded fork and spoon. Now while I am proud of my sandwich build and the flavor was good, I was left with fingers that smelled like salmon despite washing my hands multiple times. Not exactly what I was hoping for at 10 am on my day off from working in a restaurant. I understand the fine details of menu flips can be a bit clumsy at first, but I hope management receives this feedback and reconsiders this self-assembly method. I love this place and the atmosphere and staff. The lox bagel experience just didn't hit the mark for me.
