So, I'm not usually someone who writes reviews, but what I witnessed today didn't sit right with me. I'm a regular customer at this location and come here almost every day. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Today, I watched a young woman come in and politely ask one of the employees if they were hiring. The employee responded kindly and said, "Yes, we are. Let me get the manager." When the manager came out, he barely looked at her and immediately said, "No, we're not hiring." You could see the confusion on the young woman's face after being told the exact opposite by an employee just moments earlier. She quietly walked out, and it was obvious she felt discouraged and embarrassed. As an adult observing this interaction, I couldn't help but feel that the manager may have judged this young woman before taking even a moment to speak with her or learn anything about her. Afterward, I started looking around and noticed there appeared to be very little diversity among the staff. The manager and all of the employees working at the time were Caucasian, while the applicant was a young Latina woman. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but the situation left a very negative impression. To make matters more concerning, I later checked online and found an active job posting for this location, which raises the question: if they are hiring, why was she told they were not? I cannot say with certainty what the manager's intentions were, but from a customer's perspective, the interaction appeared dismissive and unfair. I believe upper management should review this situation to ensure that all applicants are treated with respect and given an equal opportunity to be considered. I visited Sprouts Market in the afternoon for grocery shopping and noticed Starbucks nearby, so I decided to make a quick stop for coffee and a snack. From the menu, I ordered a Lavender Oat Milk Latte, an Iced Coffee, and an Egg Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich. The ambiance of the coffee shop was beautiful making it a pleasant spot to grab a quick bite. I soon received my order and headed home with my coffee and sandwich. We loved both coffee options they were smooth, well-prepared, and flavorful. The Egg Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich paired perfectly with the coffee, making for a delicious and satisfying snack between lunch and dinner. I like coming to this Starbucks! When I am in the area it's one I go to. The is die and outside are clean and inside is busy. I am greeted every time. The baristas have been friendly and helpful. I usually sit outside when I visit to enjoy my coffee. The inside has plenty of seating for guests. One tip is to get to the drive through early on a weekend because it does back up into the lot. For parking I tend to park farther away because it is less busy. If you are in the area check out this Starbucks. read more

So Starbucks it's Starbucks it's Starbucks...right? You usually get consistent products regardless of the location which is one of the reasons we like it... so, why 3 stars? Well, for a location of this size and on a Sunday they had 3 people working. The 3 of them were nice and trying to juggle the Drive through snd in-store request but we're overwhelmed. I had 2 hot drinks which took about 10 min - not horrible but I had to wait another 10 for a cake (non-heated)... that was a bit too long. I only come to this Starbucks because it's the only one in the area, but honestly, it's one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. First off, they are always out of stuff, even though the app says it's available. It's beyond frustrating to order ahead and show up just to hear, "Sorry, we're out of that." The customer service? Let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes they're friendly, but most of the time, it feels like I'm inconveniencing them by being there. On top of that, getting my drink made correctly is a gamble I rarely win. Also, whether the place is packed or nearly empty, they're always slow. I've waited an unreasonable amount of time even when I was the only person in line. If there were another Starbucks nearby, I'd be there in a heartbeat. This Starbucks opened last year during the pandemic. I'm not sure if it was intended to shut down the one near AMC Highwoods and transfer the staff to this more spacious location before covid or it was done after. This location is located opposite the main entrance to Hunter's Green and is in a plaza with Sprouts, and other businesses like yogasix, and Grain and Berry, with First Watch, and Fresh Kitchen imminent. All employees were wearing masks and there are social distance markers on the ground which customers were mostly following. I came here twice to try the new Oat Milk Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. I'm surprised to find that it wasn't as super sweet and the brown sugar /oat taste was relatively subtle. A grande was $5.92 which is usually a venti drink price which is annoying. Even with the high price, crushed ice 2/3 of the volume. 3.5/5 Pros: Compared to the one at AMC, this one has more space inside and a small outside space. Though interior dining is disabled due to COVID for now. There is a drive thru available. Since it is in not in the middle of a Y, the parking is more convenient. Cons BS Oat milk price In terms of just distance, the SB near the VA is closer to me, but that one is on an incline and the parking is more narrow. This one will probably be my main one. read more

I cam here to get a passioned iced tea and a water to go- its always good to have a lot of liquids! It's a pretty big location and that's positive. It is in a plaza opposite the main entrance to Hunter's Green and in a plaza with Sprouts, and other storefronts such as First Watch, Fresh kitchen and more. There is a drive thru here as well. Not much to talk about during pandemic. Because the place become take out only. No dine experience now. But they do keep everything one direction. They keep the entrance in one direction and social distancing. I have the dragon fruit mango lemonade. The drink is refreshing. They do get the drink correctly. Slightly need to wait. Great location! However, there are certainly some kinks to be worked out. The drive through line for me has always been prolonged and inefficient. My last two visits have taken 15 min just to place the order, to say nothing of actually receiving it. (It's my own fault for not wearing clothes I can wear in public, haha!). Moving locations during the pandemic helped Starbucks only in the new location had a drive thru. It seemed right a way the old employees were gone along with the old building. From the time the new location opened they had production and quality problems. 6 months into the new year they still struggle with following orders and even caring when they get an order wrong. They know my order by now because it's so unique and my husband picks it up inside. Even when he reminds the person who is preparing my oatmeal, they ignore him and the online printed order. Rude staff and two out of three drinks were wrong. We walked in about 6:00 on 8/12/21. Five baristas were behind the counter. We waited for six minutes with nobody in front of us. Nobody greeted us or acknowledged us. My drink label said extra ice but there were four cubes. I asked for more ice and they were mad. I ordered a black tea unsweet. The color was very very light. It looked like green tea. I took a drink and it was very sweet. I brought it back and said that my tea was very sweet. The barista argued with me and said that it isn't sweet. She argued repeatedly and said the drink was right. Finally she offered to remake it, but I declined. I told my husband what happened and he told the barista that my drink was wrong. "Caitlyn" like to close the store 4 hours early and tell potential customers that their hours are "adjusted" this week. She likes to try and act condescending when asked why the drive through appears open and is not even blocked. "There was a sign; what more do you want?" There is no sign at the drive thru. She then proceeds to shared her long tenured 1 year knowledge of how restaurants work. I'm sure it won't be long before this Starbucks is under new management allowing employees to speak to potential customers in this manner. The reviews will speak for themselves. This has to be the slowest starbucks I have ever been to. It is really not that hard to make a drink. They are either vastly understaffed or incompetent I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes, which is insane. The Starbucks near Cold stone Creamery was so much better, had a higher quality staff and were much faster and friendlier. Whoever owns this starbucks needs to start over with new staff, because these people are running this starbucks into the ground. read more
