Shout out to LiANA !!! Liana is AWESOME AND REALLY MADE MY DAY! I usually drink 1 cup of my special Java early early and only once a day, but it was such a rough day that I ended up needing and wanting it 2ce today!!! Popping location with tons of traffic! Outside seating area that is not blocking the drive thru which is a plus unlike their other locations and plenty of indoor seating. Lots of parking available onsite! Liana is the TRUE definition of great service with a smile and compassion. Wish that everyone was as cheerful as her. read more

This is becoming one of my favorite locations in our area. Have ordered through the drive-thru without any issues and have done several recent mobile orders as well. Great to walk in and have your drinks ready to go. All of the baristas we have dealt with have been friendly and welcoming. The location is super clean and spacious (likely more spread out than in a pre-Covid world). Thankfully it's not far from us and it is on the way to my in-laws so it's super convenient for bringing hot or cold drinks over when we go to visit. If you're in the area definitely look to this spot for your beverage needs. read more

I had trouble getting to a Starbucks today. There used to be two on Rural, but they were both closed. Anyhow, there are two baristas here. There is a bunch of people sitting near one wall all facing the front. They made the java chip quickly. We ordered others too. The store seemed like it was clean. When I arrived, there was no one at the register. After I was here, someone else ordered something. There wasn't much of a line or people coming and going. There were a couple tables outside but there were people sitting there. I think the place is pretty nice. They didn't have much merchandise like sandwiches left because it is later in the evening. There are a lot of people studying in the store. I like that Starbucks has a happy hour. I tend to go when they offer deals. read more

This is usually my favorite location only because of my favorite barista Lyla, unfortunately, as of lately, the new/different staff has been pretty unfortunate. This morning I ordered my usual chai drink and received basically nothing but soy milk. Instead of making a big deal, I returned and ordered a new drink, willing to pay again, I went over my order instructions with the barista, not even mentioning the mistake, and she read my second order back correctly, however, proceeded to give me another drink that was completely wrong. So now I have paid a total of almost $20 and wasted gas just to throw away two drinks full drinks. I'm not sure what's so complicated about an iced soy chai latte, but apparently it's terrorist negotiations-level complicated. read more

I come here often! Great staff, everyone is friendly. My biggest disappointment was that there isn't a baby changing station. When I asked the staff they informed me they have asked several times for one. We walk here a lot and my baby needed a diaper change and I was informed that there was nowhere to do that. So my choices were out by the other customers or on the floor of the restroom. Sparing others from a not so pleasant experience I chose the restroom floor . Starbucks... you can definitely do better for your customers. Especially when likely a lot of us are sleep deprived parents with babies and toddlers. read more

This location is the truly deserves the lowest of stars in the area. I'm officially done coming here regardless of the convenient location. There has not been one time where they wait to. take my order before I get to the speaker box or put my window down. I order the same simple coffee everywhere and they always ask me to repeat myself, how to make it, and / or still make it wrong. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I'm a big Starbucks fan going since 1994 but I have to rate this one below avg(about 2.5 stars). It's very small with no lounge chairs and only a few outside. They make you have to have them let you in the toilet rooms. One middle-aged run down employee was rude to me(which is rare at SBs). They are open later though until 9:30p read more

Tons of seating, power and usb outlets. Nitro cold brew and regular cold brew on tap! My local Starbucks was remodeled in the last 6 months and it's pretty swanky! Staff is always friendly and helpful and the ambiance is great standard coffee shop ambiance. General Starbucks order accuracy has improved over the years and I can't remember the last time I had an order messed up. read more

You can never go wrong with Starbucks. I got their caramel frappucinno. I like their food too. My favorite is the chicken artichoke flatbread. Second favorite is the chicken Chipotle salad though it is a bit expensive. read more

Definitely will be making this my new regular Starbucks because of how amazing the service was with Danny. I live right up the street from this Starbucks so I really want to love it. However, they are constantly way understaffed and slow. As of today, I have waited more than 20 minutes, on FIVE different occasions for my one drink item. Four of these times were in the drive thru with less than four cars, one time was when I actually went in to order. read more

This Starbucks is consistent and it is tough to find one of those. I stop by before work and get my go to iced coffee in the morning. There's been a couple of times where they put too much cream but they were able to remake my drink without hesistation. The staff are friendly and efficient. Even when I am running a bit late and they have a line it goes by so fast! I like the location and it's easy to access from the main road. read more

I love this Starbucks because the people are ALWAYS friendly and very sociable, smiling, and they are fast! I enjoy coming here, whether through the drive-up or walking in and always get treated like more than just a number but like a VIP. This Starbucks has free wi-fi as well so I know I can bring my laptop here and do what i need to do online (including Yelp reviews) and not get hassled. There are plenty of tables both inside and out and this place is always hopping. read more

CONSISTENCY of DRINKS: 5 stars MOBILE ORDER: 5 stars MANAGER: 5 stars SEATING/AREA: probably 8 tables or so, consistent outlets RESTROOMS: always clean I have frequented studying or working at a Starbucks for probably 15 years. My best friend was also a manager of a Starbucks, so I have rather high standards of the drinks, service, etc. Ironically, I originally started going to this Starbucks when I worked across the street and was NOT a huge fan of it. Now, this is the Starbucks nearest to our house and I'm VERY glad they have since remodeled and is a great location! I have seen the manager in here and is very proactive and even helped assist me when I ordered something through Mobile Order that was no longer available! My drinks have ALWAYS been consistent - a MUST for a great Starbucks and I don't feel like they're trying to "nickle and dime" me on the extras. For example, I sometimes get extra caramel in my caramel macchiato and they do not disappoint with the word "extra." I usually order a Mobile Order and my drinks are at the Mobile Order station within the time frame given or less! read more

Beetween the company taking my stars away on the app and making horrible latee grande hot coffees at some stores like this one. This is why I'm done with this overpriced stuff and will try coffee bros instead. Not sure if the milk you use has changed or your just lousy at making these. Not sure what was going on today. I rarely go to this Starbucks but maybe off day. 3 pm on a Wednesday and I'm the third car in line. Each car took over 5 minutes, one car had two drinks and the second car had one but every drink was handed back to be redone. read more

My go to Starbucks till today. They usually had a really nice person at the drive thru but today I got someone who hates their job. I believe her name is Leia or something. This morning I saw on their app that they have the pink drink remixed. I asked everyone at my job what they wanted and I would make a Starbucks run. I order the pink drink remixed and immediately I get attitude from Leia. I tell her it's on the app and she says "what app?" (If I am at Starbucks, I would assume I would be talking about the Starbucks app, but ok...) anyways, I tell her the Starbucks app and she says "when you say remixed I think about a play button you press and then music plays" (still with attitude). I just said nvm and ordered something else. I ended up showing the girl at the window (different person) and she said "oh yeah I think we were told about it in our weekly meeting" and then she turned around to tell Leia. I couldn't hear what was said after but I let the girl know at the window that Leia was rude for no reason. I think she should be in a boxing ring because she seems ready to fight whoever doesn't know how to defend themselves... other than that, I hope they bring back the woman who was at the window before, she always gave A+++ customer service! read more

This is truly the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Would give it 0 stars if I could. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt when I moved to the area (I live less than a minute away) but I now go 3 miles out of my way to go to a different Starbucks. To the mgr of this location: Please retrain whichever of the baristas was working the drive-thru window at 9:00 a.m. on the morning of 3/9 Not putting a drink stopper into a hot coffee may seem like a petty complaint but this caused me to spill coffee on my interior as I was putting my drink into my cup holder in the car at the drive thru lane and then again when I took it out of my carrier at home getting hot coffee on my dress pants. My other unrelated comment relates to the Starbucks app asking immediately to tip the barista when you create a mobile order. Would you want to tip your barista as you create your order only to have hot coffee spill two (2) different times on you and before you ever receive your drink?? This begging for tips before you even receive your drink and know if you got the correct one as well as what kind of service was provided is in very poor taste coming from the Starbucks & their app ... P.S. Neither Dunkin or even McDonald's for that matter has any problem providing a workable lid for their hot coffees read more

Drinks are good, customer service is ok.... If you enjoy working in a meat locker where the temp is literally 32 degrees, then this is the place for you. I'm not one to complain about it being too cold, but seriously. Great place to come during the summer... But wintertime.... When I asked if they could turn off the AC, they said they couldn't adjust it. Wouldn't you think your customers comfort should come first? Just saying. NOTE: When 98% of your customers are sitting outside because it's warmer than inside, I'd rethink your comfort measures. read more

I went through the drive through this afternoon to get an oat milk chai and Leila was at the window. She was so kind, energetic, and sweet and despite only a couple of employees working, was very attentive & thoughtful! She's killing it!! They are always fast, friendly and smiling. Whether you go the drive-thru route or go inside, they are definitely on top of their game. Perfect every time. I don't venture out of my two favorites very often . . . Vente latte with whole milk or Vente green tea latte with whole milk, no sweetener. Perfect every time. I have given them a fair chance to mess something up (I have drunk enough Starbucks to have a gold card!), but no, perfect every time. read more

Thank You Starbucks! After asking if I needed room for cream, he actually looked over at the condiment stand to make sure it was still on the stand. This the first time! Usually every store I've been to will ask if I need room. That's it. The cream is put away. And instead of getting it out for me to add to my coffee, they'll let me go to the stand and let me discover it's been put away for the day. It seems like a self defeating cost containment procedure. Especially when they'll pour a short cup of cream to the top hand it to me then go about what I stopped them from doing. I'll use a half ounce and hand it back or leave it and then seem them throw the remaining amount away. Thanks Starbucks, you got it right this time read more

I went to a different Starbucks before this one and asked for a caramel macchiato. I know exactly how a caramel macchiato should taste and it should be sweet with a hint of caramel. That Starbucks gave me an unsweetened bitter coffee that did not taste like the drink I know and love. I came to this Starbucks and asked to exchange my drink and the lady gave me an entirely new drink that tasted like the iced caramel macchiato that I know and love. She even told me to come back if it didn't taste right!! The service was great and I appreciate them doing this for me. I would absolutely recommend this Starbucks!! read more

BUT you can buy a small bouquet in person for something like $12. The carrier is not included. Something to get when you are absolutely having a spoil yourself date. Also very convenient when they have their to-go window open as their full menu is also available outside as well. My first time there, they had not remodeled yet and the coffee shop was a tiny hidden spot in the back with their pastries crammed in tiny displays (which made them even more elusive) and their specials were much more rare, written on little chalkboards. I had their pumpkin chai with almond milk and it was absolutely stronger than the Hulk himself. I couldn't be happier. The next time, I had a London Fog (earl grey with almond milk) and honey which had its own unique charm to it and ordered some of their small bites which were also very delicious and creamy, just enough for satisfy that morning burn in your tummy. I also really loved this with that gentle froth. The last time I went (and they had remodeled and relocated to their new pink brick) I went ahead and tried their turquoise rose matcha which was also everything it's made out to be, but next time I will definitely order it COLD so I can see the color changing happening! You won't be disappointed!

The place is somewhat hidden near the back of the shopping center and their name Gold Bar doesn't scream coffee. Nonetheless they have a wide variety of mochas and it's usually what i get. They do that well. I come here occasionally when im in the area. Is their coffee good enough to get overcome no drive thru no app order ahead? For me on a weekday if prefer modern ordering ahead.

I had their regular cold brew with a splash of cream and a Sunrise Sandwich- both were so good! The cold brew had a lovely aftertaste that in my opinion, reminded me of dark chocolate and whiskey. Service was also fantastic- the lovely barista was thorough in her explanations of each cold coffee option to help me find what I was looking for! My sandwich was also lovely- the Sunrise Sandwich on an Everything Bagel is easily my favorite breakfast sandwich in Tempe. The Basil Pesto adds a bit of freshness to an otherwise very rich sandwich. Also stopped in a few more times on my evening walks for a Lavender Haze (seasonal earl grey sage honey drink: EXCELLENT!) and their seasonal energy drink- it was a Sunset Spritz (energy with grapefruit pink cordial): both delicious. Happy to say service has improved greatly. Employees are on task and happy to answer my questions. The drinks on the seasonal menu are very good, and their classics are also great. If you're going to go soon, I'm a big fan of the Sage honey and a big fan of the cordial syrup on the 2026 Spring Menu. Will definitely be hitting Infusion up for some future study sessions. The place was packed, and it was so heartwarming to see so many regulars greeting each other--it instantly gave the shop such a welcoming, community feel.
