I'll stick to the Starbucks in Yucca which is kind of an inconvenience but this place has been given enough chances. They have screwed up on so many orders and just this morning the girl did not give me my debit card back from the drive thru so I had no lunch at work at had to pick it up after I got off. I got no apologies. They forgot my daughters milk and almost her cakepop. They would have forgot my iced tea had I not said anything. My husband was just there tonight and ordered me a venti and the girl made a grande and was like that's what you ordered...I order a venti EVERYTIME. The Yucca store has never failed us. read more

I had an excellent drive through experience here. As a former barista myself, I can see how opening a new store and getting on your feet can be tough, but I really don't get most of the sour reviews here. From the time I pulled up, placed my order, to receiving my drinks, I had no issues. Great customer service, great speed, and great accuracy by company standards. Just a heads up to all the Karens out there though, if you order wrong, don't blame the barista....also if you treat them like human beings, they'll happily fix your order. read more

Unfortunately, I have to give this Starbucks a 2. After a few attempts at the location, and spending well over 30 min each time to order and get a drink. It is frustrating, the staff seems stressed, maybe just because of staffing issues in a pandemic. But they also seem annoyed when you attempt to alter a drink, ie: light ice, or with almond milk... I'm sorry but that's the perk of Starbucks y'all offer a multitude of options. ‍ unfortunately unless you want to drive all the way to Yucca, you deal with the service. read more

My regular order is not simple. I wouldn't go so far as to call it fussy but it does have some add-ons and modifications. This Starbucks has consistently done a solid job with my latte and has also always been cheerful and fast. The drive-thru moves quickly, employees are pleasant and professional, and my drink is good. I can't ask for much more than that (especially when comparing this location to the one in the neighboring town which is always remarkably slow and regularly butchers my order). Very grateful that this location opened up and that it remains open to offer some familiar comfort in a pandemic. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences here. Not sure what all the grumpy low rating are from others. It's NORMAL to wait in a long lines or get an I occasional mix up on an order when min wage employees are overloaded with orders. That's life. After a trip to Joshua Tree, we went to get our coffee and my daughter wanted to use the restroom . The staff haughtily told us that two of their restrooms are both closed without offering any explanation or apologies and told as that there are a lot of gas stations around which have restrooms (as if that is not common knowledge) . Walked in just to get some coffee beans and a hot chocolate for my kid. The staff here were so incredibly pleasant and welcoming and nice. I would come back just for that alone. Lots of smiles and happy people here, which makes me happy. read more

Dirty and terrible service. Went there for an iced chai - venti- non fat milk. I was the only customer inside. At least 6 employees. One near the register on a cell phone call the entire time. Couldn't get service. Finally one came over and took the order with a pastry. Used the bathroom. Disgusting. Floor filthy. Stainless steel items never wiped down. Really old stains. Picked up chai and waited and the pastry was thrown on the counter and before I could say anything, she was gone. Left. Took sip in car and was whole milk and maybe a teaspoon of chai. Tasteless. Wish we hand't stopped. Next time will drive on to Yucca Valley. read more

Staff is always awesome and drinks spot on! We normally always order online so we don't deal with lines. The only thing we ever get bummed out about is sometimes the options for drinks online say "out of stock" but for a new business they are doing great! read more

This past weekend my gf and I visited this location. Upon entering and trying to figure out their set up(Im aware every location is different), the person at register didn't greet us. He simply asked if we were going to order or if we were picking up a mobile order. My gf answered that we were going to place an order however being out of town we were looking to find some cool merchandise, however the guy at registered followed to ask us what we're we ordering(feeling rushed). We walked up to the register and my gf began to order. Although we enjoyed the music playing, the music was a little loud and it was hard to hear so his voice was trying to go above System of a down playing in the background. My gf ordered a lemon loaf and I'm not sure that he was able to hear all that well so he asked her "a what?" However there was attitude coming from him as she ordered. When ordering, my experience was the same experience as Hera. My gf and I are both partners. I am a shift in the DTLA and she is a Manager in the same area too. I mentioned to him that I had partner numbers. So I pulled my partner card on my app and he proceeded to card me. It's my understanding that if someone provides partners numbers without their partner card being present, that's when you card them. The guy carded me and gave me my total. My gf reminded me of the offer for partners that applies everyday even if we don't work a shift for that day. This is in all California all the way through September, if I'm not mistaken. I asked him if my food and drink item were applied. He didn't respond with yes or no he simply went on to repeat my total. I scanned my card and off I went to wait for our items. There was no departing comment. His customer service was horrible. Our experience was not warm and welcoming(upon our experience we decided that for the following two days of our stay we were going to instead brew coffee at our Airbnb and so we did.) After gathering our items, the barista handing off our drinks said thank you and to have a nice day. Upon returning to my car I wanted to dispose two cups of fountain drinks. I walked around the lot and there were none available outside nor inside the store. I understand if this is due to COV 19 however it would've been helpful to other customers to see posted signage for this decision. Two other customers enjoying their coffee outside mentioned that they also couldn't find the trash can and they visit there regularly. We had a laugh about it and off we went. As a shift, I know his performance is not the performance of the whole team. The store is beautiful however our customer experience did not meet Starbuck's mission. For a Starbucks this location was great. Customer service was awesome. Staff was very attentive and friendly and the drinks were great for Starbucks quality. The lobby is open to order drinks but the bathrooms are not open to the public during the pandemic. read more

I am so excited that there is finally one to call our own here in 29!!! It has been a long time coming. The convenience of a drive thru is just the icing on the cake. I look forward to spending time here with my friends and family and enjoying an ice cold drink in the summer and a sweet hot chocolate in the winter with extra whip (my sons favorite). The area is very much on the up and up and I am very thankful to Starbucks for helping us grow. read more

I know this place just opened but the expectations were so much higher. Me and my buddy pulled through the drive thru and immediately the girl sounded rushed. My buddy asks if they still have the creme brulee latte and she says yes so he gets that and I get a salted caramel frappe. The drive thru wait time wasn't too bad but there were only 2 cars in front of us and a small amount of people inside. We pull up to the window and as we wait after we paid we were watching the workers inside and they looked stressed and struggling. It wasn't nearly as busy as other starbucks'. They go to give us a drink and it's a butterscotch frappe. So we had the girl repeat the order and she put that instead of the creme brulee. Come to find out they don't serve the creme brulee anymore even though we asked at the drive through. So he gets a white mocha latte instead. The caramel frappe had no flavor and tasted like straight ice and the white mocha latte tasted like pure milk. We went in and asked for a manager and they said they didnt have one she went home early. Not a good start. Also the hours are terrible. They should be open later than 8PM on sunday and 9PM the rest of the days. If I wanted mediocrity I would've went to the one on base. read more
