It seems like they were understaffed but David did a great job at providing excellent customer service! The portions are fantastic and the food satisfying. Make sure to not be in a rush when you come!

Absolutely loved this place! It was everything I wanted. Kind of a diner feel but cozy and homey. Had a "warm" feel to it. Servers were also warm and sweet. I loved the art decor. The food! Spectacular !!! I got the spinach and feta omelet and a side of waffle. Get the house made salsa. Omgggg breakfast was honestly perfect. I would 100% come back here next time I'm in Joshua tree/29 palms.

Best breakfast in Twenty Nine Palms! Service was excellent, and they were slammed. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns crispy and they nailed it! The eggs were cooked perfectly, yokes were runny, ham was tender and flavor full, and their hollandaise is fire. This is easily in my top 5 Eggs Benedict of all time! Don't miss this desert gem of a spot!

This place is ran by a husband and wife, as well as one of their mothers. When you walk in the smell of Hispanic/Americano cuisine hits you. I was greeted by a friendly server, as well as a fellow doing the dishes who gave me a warm smile and nod. They recommended the breakfast tostadas as well as the breakfast quesadilla. Good flavor, great tasting tortillas, the coffee latte was a little bit too sweet for my taste. One star for the excellent service One star for the clean dishes and plates / restrooms One star for the perfectly cooked eggs One star for the homemade salsas One star for the locally owned and operated dream Five stars, I will see you all again on the Cactus Trail. -Anton

Very simple, no frills diner. Nice and attentive staff. Food was standard breakfast/ brunch food, and really good sized portions for the price.

Came here for breakfast and I loved the huge selection they had. I had the Chorizo and Egg and it was very filling. The staff was friendly as well.

I love a great diner. This one is very cozy and cute in 29 Palms. Service is friendly, and the seating is cozy. I got the biscuits and gravy breakfast combo I think with bacon, eggs, and potatoes. Coffee was great :) I'd happily return if I'm in the area!

Tasty meal and friendly service! Pleasant cafe with lots of cacti artwork. Thank you David!

I tend to judge breakfast places by their coffee cups, and this one was perfect! The coffee was strong, and the cup was the perfect and style. It's truly the simple pleasures of reading a book with a morning cup of coffee. I ordered the southwest omelet with hasbrowns and a pancake. I'm bummed with myself I didn't get the cactus omelet so something to look forward to my next visit. the southwest omelet so fluffy and cooked to perfection. The service was quick and kind. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. I was able to get a table right away at 8:30am on a weekday. Good coffee, good food, and good service.

All in all, we felt that the items were misses; not worth waiting it out unless you are spending a few days in the area or are a local. Note that there's usually a line, moving along at a slow and steady pace, and they allow only 1 party in at a time. There is no seating inside, as this is strictly carry-out only. The patio our front is super pleasant to sit at during the morning to soak up a little sun. Everything is very clean, new and well decorated. The menu isn't big, but there are so great options. The menu is carefully crafted by the chef and he wasn't able to deviate when we asked for a substitute of bacon in place of chorizo in the breakfast burrito which was a bit odd but I'll just pretend it's because he respects his recipes. The cook was also late to show up that morning so it took longer than expected to get our food. Luckily we weren't in a hurry and it was super pleasant sitting in the back patio. Most of us got the breakfast burrito which was made with quality ingredients. One person got the quiche which looked pretty tasty and full of some fun flavors. This was by far the "fanciest" stop on our road trip and was a great break to relax and unwind on the back patio area on the turf and at the picnic tables. This is a fantastic outdoor spot.

I've had multiple issues with pickup orders, including orders being incorrect and delays when trying to collect items that were already paid for. On one occasion, I found something in my drink that appeared unsanitary, which made me uncomfortable about purchasing drinks from this location again. The biggest issue has been customer service. There is one older employee I frequently deal with, and nearly every interaction becomes an argument. I used to pay for the 7-Eleven app subscription and regularly redeemed my drink benefits without any issues. Then I was suddenly told different rules applied and was denied benefits I had previously used. Even when I tried to follow the employee's instructions, I was still told I had to pay full price. More recently, when my boyfriend picks up orders for me, he often has to spend several minutes convincing staff that he is there for a legitimate order despite having the order information, name, and confirmation available. He has also been asked for codes that were never provided with the order. Everyone makes mistakes, but after experiencing the same issues repeatedly, I no longer feel welcome as a customer. The constant confusion, delays, and poor attitude have made me stop shopping at this location whenever possible.

When you sit you already have small plates and things at the table which makes sense for indoors but with the desert setting there was sand everywhere. The tables were also covered in sand which obviously isn't their fault but you would think it would be wiped and set before seating. The fresh drinks were imo the best part by far. They were so delicious and like I said very fresh. The kale salad was alright not really much flavor and weirdly soggy. The beet salad was incredible but definitely NOT enough to share considering everything is served family style (and especially with the price). Burger was alright, my sister had this and said "nothing stood out". Again not enough to be considered "family style". With everything being $30-$40 with recommended 4-5 plates per table with family style I would assume they would actually be shareable sizes. Service was good. Our waitress was amazing and so knowledgeable about the menu. The only thing is there was an older woman as hostess who was kind of just there? She said hi and got to the point but no one said bye or have a good night when we were leaving other than our waitress.
