This Starbucks appeals to me and breaks my coffee-liking (not loving) heart all the same. Staff is hit or miss on the costumer service spectrum. You get your friendly, upbeat baristas and you get your bottom of the barrel, not enthused, is it quitting time yet?-baristas I've also found that my drinks can be dull one trip and the flavor I expect the next. You're a chain, right? That being said, consistency wouldn't hurt. Damn you, human error! But the real problem with this Starbucks is its location! The traffic on West dr just before Emerald gets so backed up between people trying to pull into the drive-thru and people just trying to wait at the light. Just went to the drive thru and my husband was trying to use the app for his "free birthday drink" and it would not even let him sign in because of their faulty network. He even tried to log in on my latest iPhone and the same thing happened. When we explained and showed him the phone nothing was done about it. He asked us for some Starbucks card that we've never been offered and that was it. 1 star for the poorest customer service. When I was simply taking long to pull up my birthday drink coupon at the la Costa location he just gave me the drink anyway without even having to see it, never asked me for a Starbucks card or charged me for anything. I don't understand why my husband got stiffed today and I'm very irritated because now he doesn't get a free birthday drink. Seriously so irritating, I'll be going out of my way to the college location from now on. read more

Everytime I come here it's somewhat busy but that's because the customer service is outstanding. There's never a really long wait, even in the mornings. Emily is a stand out there, she is extremely optimistic and cheerful every time I go there. Slow Starbucks. I was pretty disappointed when I went through the drive thru on my way to work. I ordered a strawberry green tea infused lemonade and it tasted like watered down unsweet lemonade, I would have gone inside and had then make something else but I was in my uniform and in a hurry. The woman at the drive thru could not figure out how to scan my Starbucks app on my phone and messed up the order in front of me so I had to wait an extra 5 minutes. Bring back the badass down to earth blonde who gives exceptional customer service! I'm tired of being overcharged with all these new employees who don't know what's going on. They never get my orders right. If I order something cold they give it to me hot instead! The drinks are never marked anymore and they always have you repeat the order 2-3 times...I've started to think that they do it to mess with you. This place has come down to absolute disappointment in many ways. I feel like Denny's could do better and that's very weird for me to say. This is my favorite Starbuck's location! All of the employees are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Whenever they are out of something, they are very good about offering a good alternative. And my pup especially loves them because they make her the best puppuchinos! This Starbucks has the worst service of any I've ever been to. The drive-thru takes forever no matter what day or time you go through it. And if you go inside it takes forever too. Even if there's only a couple people ahead of you and it's not busy, it still takes 15-20 minutes at the drive thru. This place is right by my house so I go there frequently. There is A girl who works the drive thru who is blonde and rocks the natural look and she is an absolute Saint I wish I knew her name so I could give her full recognition but I don't. Don't know if it's the headsets or the personal conversations going on between the baristas but this place is terrible! Stood at counter for several minutes before I was even acknowledged, drink was incorrect, asked that my food not be warmed and of course it was put into the oven. The staff is really nice for the most part. They are what you'd expect at most Starbucks locations. They are upbeat and friendly. However, there is an older woman working there that is basically hostile every time I go in. She acts really put out if you ask her anything and and acts annoyed that you are even there. I asked her for extra caramel and she got it then she stormed into the back. I just looked at the staff and I didn't have to say anything. They said "just try working with her." Pretty disappointing for a Starbucks - I know they just opened and might still be working out some kinks (which is the only reason they are getting two stars), but I've now been here several times, and none of them have been particularly great. The first issue is with the staff. I'm used to friendly and talkative Starbucks baristas - at this location, they are cold and borderline rude. Along with that, they are slow. The worst is that they don't seem to able to put out a decent drink. I'm a Frappuccino guy (not a big coffee fan), and I've ordered a different drink every time I've come here. Each has been disappointing in one way or another - it either tastes off in some way, or it's just bland and flavorless. I won't be coming back to this location any time soon. I'll give them a few months to sort out their issues before I give them another shot. read more

I'm so excited about this new Starbucks because it is right near my house. I was already lucky enough to have the Starbucks off College close to me which is also a drive-through but now this one is less than a mile from my house and it's a drive-through? I've hit a Starbucks jackpot! I came here last week before 10am and there was no line in the drive-through for my food and drink order. I hope that it continues to be a little hidden gem that no one comes and visits for a while so that I may get my coffee quickly in the mornings. Well I guess I'm just too nice and decided to give these guys a fourth try before I wrote a review to see if maybe by the fourth time they might redeem themselves with a decent cup of coffee.
