The customer service is insane. Also, how do you work at Starbucks and not know what breve is ? We ordered two breve lattes with SF vanilla and didn't get the vanilla. We took the drinks back to the counter and were told we'd have to pay once again for the syrup just for them to open the tops of our cups and pour syrup in. This probably the 137th SB store I have been to and that first sip still sounds refreshing. This location is one of the two that is close to my house conveniently located in Nanakuli shopping center. The parking lot is pretty limited and can get crazy busy since it's also shared with other shops. The drive thru lane can get pretty busy but mostly the staff move the line pretty quickly. There are few times that for some reason, the line just wont move for like 5-8 mins, but the staff would almost always apologize and say thanks for the wait when you get to the window. My order is pretty simple and 100% they never messed up. The staff are mostly very friendly and cheerful. There are few outdoor seating good for small groups or solo. Overall, I do not have any complaints so far. read more

On a good day this location is meh! How do you run out of red cups by 9:00am 3 years in a row. If it weren't for the drive thru convenience while going to Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and L&L, I wouldn't patronize them. I will drive to Waianae or Ko'olina for better service & better beverages! read more

After a few hours in a boat excursion, I needed an iced cold pick me up. A quick search and this Starbucks came up and has a drive through. Perfect. They also do walk up ordering but there is no inside seating. Evidently a lot of people had the same idea, but the drive through line moved quickly. Usually I order order a drink with all the no's and non's. today I ordered a non fat, iced, pumpkin spice latte but decided to retreat myself to the whip! Heck, I'm on vacation! The venti sized beverage was filled to the 3/4 mark and the rest was whip. What? I wanted my entire beverage. Not sure if this is standard as I usually order no whip, but assumed the whip would be on top, hence the need for the dome top. Foing forward, I'm sticking with my regular order! Service was friendly. They had the drive up window decorated with fall leaves which I found charming. Easy access to and from the Highway although if you are making a left, that turn signal takes forever to turn green! read more

I prefer to support local but Waianae doesn't have a locally owned coffee shop so Starbucks it is. Staff is always pleasant, the store is clean AND they have their retail section stocked. I do miss their curbside pandemic pick up since this location isn't drive thru. read more

I remember driving by this super new Starbucks location and I was excited to check it out. I needed to get our morning coffee during our Staycation @ Ko 'olina back in August and I would usually make a stop at Kapolei Starbucks. I also needed to get breakfast so why not kill 2 birds with one stone and head out further west to grab breakfast and coffee. FYI, this Starbucks location is drive thru only, I was so excited I didn't know it was drive thru only. The drive thru was crazy packed that day so I walked up to the small window to place my order. I observed the staff was busy with the drive thru lane, u. I was the only customer in line, the Barista that helped me that day was friendly, I got our 2 Venti coffee, with no room for cream and dark roast is a must. I was super happy I got my morning coffee. It sure was a great start to my morning, enjoying my coffee and breakfast. Thank you Starbucks and welcome to Nanakuli ! read more

Here we go again, Today was a off day so I went here. Tried to give them the benefit without doubt and poof they screwed up my drink. AGAIN! They made it twice and still managed to mess it up. When I go to Waianae or Kapolei the team makes it consistent. The taste is almost always on point. Nanakuli however always taste watery or not even remotely close. Go else where. Also when they remake it, make sure they put everything you paid for in it. Cause they will have no problem NOT making the drink to your order. Save your money! read more

I'm pretty sure most baristas would roll their eyes at some of my in app orders because they can be very very extra. This specific location makes superior drinks from taste to presentation. Sorry in advance but I will keep coming back to Nanakuli Starbucks because no other location can make a more delicious, more beautiful looking caffeinated drink like your team! Hummm different concept for a Starbucks. Drive through and walk up window only! Seating outside only in the hot sun. Located in the new strip mall in Nanakuli with other businesses. Drive through idea is great as the other Starbucks in Waianae doesn't offer one. If your looking to sit, do work, chat etc... and don't mind braving the weather this is your place. First off, I order my drink at the drive thru...& when I pulled up to the window my drink was not at all what I wanted. So the same lady made it again and still it was more milk than anything & watered down, even after ordering extra shots so I refused to take it. Probably one of the oddest yet still cool Syarbucks I have ever encountered. Kind of reminded me of old-timey restaurants that didn't have indoor seating, just a walk up order window. So yes! It's drive-thru and walk-up only but I found it to be a pleasant experience. The store seemed fairly new so the exterior was in great shape. Parking was easy. I used mobile ordering to order ahead and when I arrived, part of my order wasn't ready yet but it wasn't a big deal...and the barista was super friendly and apologetic even though she didn't need to apologize! I am a coffee addict and having a Starbucks .3 miles from My house is both a blessing and a curse. Anytime I find myself at a different Starbucks i am disappointed. The nanakuli Starbucks is absolutely amazing. From the friendly service to the handcrafted drinks. They absolutely adore my dog and he looks forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces as much as I do. Even if the drive through line looks long they are extremely efficient and the line moves quickly! I love this Starbucks and i would go out of my way to go to this one if i needed to. read more

The experience here is usually a hit or miss. Nothing special but I've had 2 occasions where they're super unfriendly after I place a not so simple order, but not crazy complicated either. My ONE drink order however doesn't warrant ridiculous attitude. The other day I went through their drive thru and ordered my aunts regular order, placing the order was okay at first but once I finished ordering this ONE drink, it seemed like someone else started talking to me through the drive thru screen because the voice, tone and attitude completely changed after I ordered one drink? The girl was like "OKAY ANYTHING ELSE?" Repeatedly in a sassy snappy voice like she didn't want me ordering anymore and was blowing off steam at me. I wish I recorded her voice because wow, never have I ever had a Starbucks employee speak so rudely to me for ordering one drink? I told my auntie they must not like her drink order because they gave me horrible service after ordering it- my Aunty said she experienced the same thing. We both agreed we should stick to the Waianae Cafe Starbucks because they treat every customer with respect and literally, her regular order is NOT difficult at all, just a bit of modifications. The fact that they think it's ok to treat customers horribly if they don't like your order makes me so uncomfortable. Keep driving. I live in Nanakuki and either drive to Waianae or to Kapolei to get my drinks. This Starbucks employees aren't very customer service oriented. Please re-train the baristas! On one occasion I ordered a hot latte when I drove away I took a sip to ice cold milk in a hot cup. It wasn't steamed at all. They literally poured cold milk straight into the hot cup. I spoke to someone who was very helpful and took down my info so that I can pick up another drink. On my second visit I ordered a venti latte and the milk was an inch below the rim because the milk was not measured properly or the barista was too lazy to steam a little more milk to top it off. It's really a bummer because this Starbucks is so conveniently located in our neighborhood. I would rather drive to Kapolei Starbucks for consistent coffee. read more

Very rude customer service. Straight up just lazy. I called on 1/31/22 to see if they had a food item. I didn't want to waste their time or my time by going through their drive through for nothing. A lady named Sherise or Sherry answered the phone. She answered the phone nicely, I'll give her that. When I asked if they had the item her answer was, "um I don't know and I won't check right now." I then asked if she could put me on hold and check when she had a minute or ask someone else to check because I didn't want to go there for nothing. I got no response at all! Then she hung up on me! Like I heard her physical hang up the phone. Of course I called right back and no one answered. This location needs to learn some basic customer service skills or maybe learn to Multitask? This is the only Starbucks that I've had bad experiences. Sadly this wasn't my first time encountering rude customer service here but will definitely be my last. My advice take the drive to waianae mall or even Kapolei. At least they have good customer service and won't screw up your order. read more

The cashier said they were out of straws and whip cream, it wasn't a bother at all, we didn't mind. But it was our drinks that bothered us. The caramel and mocha was sitting on the bottom of the cup, it was like they didn't care for what we ordered. We ordered a Caramel frappe with caramel walls and extra caramel, the frappe came with a the caramel sitting on the bottom, like it was a pool. Due to the pool of caramel, the drink was really hard to drink, it was kind of stuck. I also asked for a white mocha with caramel drizzles not caramel walls or with the caramel sitting on the bottom of the cup. The caffeine was also very warm, as if it wasn't mixed into the drink and the ice. Lately I've been having a bad experience with the night crew for Starbucks. I would usually go in the morning and they would make my drink with no complications, everything was perfect, the drink and the service but my recent service from the night crew is totally different from the morning crew, I think the managers need to figure out a way for both shifts to be consistent because the night shift is not okay. read more

Went through drive thru & added a last minute drink at the window (apologized in advance for doing so) told them kindly that i was missing a drink but the worker insisted i had everything so I pulled to the side to recheck my order & i asked them for a receipt but they didn't give me one (good thing i had the charges on my card) went back to the window & the worker gave attitude & didn't apologize for the inconvenience, i still didn't get my receipt i kindly asked for & i kept apologizing for being a hassle but if i'm gonna pay for the drinks then i'll be sure i get what i paid for. After i got the drink that was missing the worker slammed the window in my face & rolled his eyes.
