Came in around 4 to the drive thru. Although there were only 4 cars, it took 20 minutes to get through. We both ordered the new drink, iced chocolate almond milk shaken espresso. When we got up to the window she first handed us the wrong drink and walked away. Then we were handed these drinks, clearly not shaken which a huge amount of powder at the bottom. With the lids there's no way to mix it easily. Just really disappointed in this location. read more

They failed to make part of my mobile order, a coffee. This was contrary to the app telling me the order was complete. When I inquired the employee said I could get a refund at the register. At the register the refund did not go through. Several apologies were offered but sounded insincere to me. It would have been easier to make the coffee. A bad experience. read more

Ordered chai tea latte - Average tasting Tomato Mozzarella Sandwich - Half of the sandwich had no filling which was so disappointing, though the taste was good. This cafe is closer to my BF's apartment but we purposely avoided this one and went to Trapelo because of the quality of cold foams. We had to go here one day as Trapelo didn't have the ingredients and to my surprise the quality of cold foams had changed. They are done nicely and consistently. THANK YOU! Ever since Starbucks started doing online orders I have had to wait longer to get my coffee in store. Today was the last straw. I waited 15 minutes for 3 cold brew coffees, while watching 4 employees making orders for the online orders. Why aren't they making orders as they are given, if someone is in the store work that order into the timeline of the online orders. When I asked how the system worked the shift manager told me because it was such a hot day they had so many cold coffee orders to fill and I should have patience!! I stood and watched them make and place orders in the pick up section for people that were not even there yet but I WAS. Bad customer service and no apologies for the long wait. Disrespectful. Stand alarm for 10 minutes for customer service taking orders had a full conversation with a customer that had nothing to do with Starbucks very cocky server or upset after food was returned over warmed miscalculation of a Starbucks drink purchase adding up to $15 for one drink or left the store, feeling dissatisfied and broke also stated that he did not have brownies that was still packaged which is how I get them in every other Starbucks. I walked into Starbucks at 11:45a.m. I walked out at 12:20p.m. with no drink. One girl had just arrived for her shift apologized to everyone for the 30 minute delay. She continued to work as hard as she could. The two other employees were just standing around what looked like flirting and laughing at the situation. In the past I had two horrible experiences with this location. Yesterday, I stopped in to place a large order. A woman working behind the counter was so inviting, she listened and repeated my order. Then proceeded to place my order in bags, marking the outside of the bags, so I would know which coffee was in each bag. Which makes the coffees much easier to carry and figure out what is in each bag. I stand corrected. When you have the right employees it makes all the difference. This Starbucks is in a great location if you're shopping and need that coffee fix. The drive through is a major plus, and they usually make the line move quickly. They also have some tables outside for when the weather is nice. This place can get pretty busy, and sometimes they run out of basic things (like drip coffee...how??). But otherwise is a great place to study or have conversation over delicious coffee. Also their holiday cups are so cute! read more

The best place ever! The food and drinks are AMAZING. The people there are mostly nice, Starbucks is practically my other home though.

Tuesday I did a coffee run for my office. Lucky for me that meant 6 coffee orders with 5 different cards and cash. I always get nervous when making separate order. The girl ringing me up was very patient and got all my drinks and names right! I just wished I knew her name she was very sweet and didn't feel overwhelmed with my long order like others do. I will definitely be coming back and hope that during my next coffee run she is working! read more

OMG I did not know this place existed!!! I think it opened about a month ago when market basket opened which was the main reason I went here in the first place. I literally died when I saw this place not because I needed the caffeine badly but because it's A DRIVE THROUGH!!!!!! Sorry I'm from newton where drive thrus don't exist and almost every starbucks has a line with with a complicated order as well has little to no parking (the one in Washington st newton-tiny!!) so I love that this has a drive thru so I can order get my coffee and go to work. The store inside has so many chairs and was pretty empty. People still don't know this place exists! I wish this place was opened last year so I could have studied here. read more

So I have been here on more then one occasion where the manager was being rude to her employees. It felt like she was being racist, very cold, or even judgmental to some customers and employees because of how she looked at them or spoke. This manager even looked at me like I was bothering her and I am a Hispanic trans man. I am sad to say I very uncomfortable going there because I do love going to Starbucks. It just feels like their manager I think her name is "Kristin". I don't remember cause I wish not to return there until there is a new manager who treats everyone with respect and fallows the code of conduct for Starbucks. She even yelled at a Hispanic employee for talking to me for having a good conversation while they were still diligently working. The reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the other employees under her have always been kind to me and they don't deserve 1 start because of one person. read more

Over the past 2-3 months this location has been pretty inconsistent on the quality/accuracy front. Often times, they forget to sweeten my coffee, once they apparently gave me someone else's drink order and the drive-thru line often times moves painfully slow. I once waited in line for a few minutes and when I noticed the line not moving I went in and when I came back out the line had moved maybe one or two car lengths. Today I had to draw the line after what might be one of the worst drinks I've been served at a Starbucks. I ordered at the drive-thru, drove off and took a sip when I was a little down the road. It tasted like there was some sort of debris floating in the drink. I figured coffee grounds, maybe. I looked at the bottom of the plastic cup and did see a few stray coffee grounds on the bottom of the cup. I continued driving and eventually as I got closer to Newton I had to go in for a closer look. I've never had THIS many coffee grounds in a cup of coffee.. I took a much closer look at the coffee and noticed something was off with the half and half. It didn't taste grotesquely off, but it was certainly curdled. I decided not to drink the rest, but was too far away to bring it back. I instead drove to Newton Corner, paid again, and the drink was executed perfectly. This location used to be one of my favorites and I'm hopeful that things will improve once again. In the meantime, I'm going to think twice before visiting again anytime soon. read more

This is absolutely the worst, thhhhhhe worst, Starbucks everrrr. Evvvvverrrrrrrr. They are slow as molasses, service is non-existent, staff is loud and unruly. I spend a lot of time and money here since it's the one closest to my house, but this is by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. You can't hear yourself think 'cause the staff is usually having loud conversations instead of focusing on making your orders. If maybe you stopped for a few seconds and focused on your job, drinks won't be messed up and it wouldn't take more than 15 minutes for a drink. Screwing up drinks is definitely a no no, especially if you can not drink milk. Hot vs. cold, seriously?! Bathrooms are always atrocious. The only time this place is ever clean is when they're cleaning up at the end of the night. They have teenagers managing this place, I have yet to see any adult managers at this location, which I'm sure would change the entire dynamic. I don't mind teenage supervisors, if they can actually do the job, but that has yet to be seen. Also they need to learn how to update their inventory in the system. There have been several times I've ordered a drink via the mobile app to only walk in and find out it was never made because they were out of stock of the ingredients for it. And then having to wait to make a different drink to be made that I don't really want. White mocha should be something that is always stocked since it's not a promotional item. They say location is everything and that's the only thing going for this Starbucks. Otherwise, it would be another empty storefront. read more

This is a disgrace! it was 11 AM and I was so excited for my pink drink and they ran out of strawberry acia usually I have no problem with Starbucks but this is definitely on them. I had to change out my whole order just because they ran out of this product. not only does this now affect me but it also affects the people wanting this drink and other drinks with this product. and then they gave me a gift card with only four dollars on it my drinks were worth five dollars each so this just made me even more infuriated. this was a perfect gem spot for me now I will have to be moving Starbucks locations. Since my last review of this Starbucks location back in Dec of 2015, I've gone back a few times and they have been slowly getting better. The crew that was there this weekend handled the rush pretty well and I did not have to wait too long for my drinks. And they got my order right. Still not my favorite Starbucks, but they seem to be in the process of getting it together. read more

This place is garbage. Worst service in all Starbucks I have ever been to. I came here there was only one car in front of me and the girl with purple hair doing the drive through was busy having a full on conversation with the person placing the order. She completely disregarded everyone after that car. While waiting for our stuff she kept playing with the guy pulling the drink from his hand and continuing their conversation.
