Recently visited this Starbies for the first time in awhile. Love anytime there's a drive-thru, but this time I needed a place to post up with my laptop for a bit. This location is nice to do so, as it's plenty spacious with lots of seating, and even has a nice little fire place (queue the need in this chilly weather). Service was super quick. I had an almond milk latte, which was to the solid Starbucks quality, per usual. I also decided to try a wrap - the feta, egg white one to be specific. It was alright! Hard to have high standards for food like this at chains, right? I did the sun-dried tomato cream cheese inside! The wrap certainly filled the void. Only problem with this location is the sometimes not-great customer base inside. This was my second visit here where there was someone kind of unhinged sat inside, causing havoc and making folks uncomfortable. I realize this isn't the fault of Starbucks, and totally get there's a fine line on when to ask someone to leave, but just figured it's worth pointing out at this location in particular. This Starbucks is special because it has a feature that few if any Starbucks have. This location features an original working Clover Press. The Clover Press is Starbucks proprietary single serve brewing system which uses a combination of advanced techniques to brew the perfect cup of coffee. The barista programs the specific coffee type in the machine and the machine will set parameters such as temperature, brew time and specific amount of coffee needed to brew the perfect cup of coffee. When I first tried it about ten years ago I was blown away. A few years ago Starbucks did away with the original Clover press brewing system and have recently developed a new Clover Press which is much quicker. This Starbucks has both Clover Presses. What I wonder is whether the old system is better because it takes the time to brew the coffee. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer to this question. This place has always been such a convenient stop when dropping my dog off at daycare down the street. They are always kind and extremely efficient. GREAT group! However, you're only as strong as your weakest link. I JUST left there as I am writing this. And I received a drink that was not what I had asked for and asked for it to be remade. Now I could only drive through because there was no parking. The young lady was more than helpful. Listen... I've been in sales and customer service for 15 years, and I typically keep the good reviews flowing unless I find something that could be detrimental to a company regarding customer service. I pulled up to the window and received my drink and the gentleman (light brown hair pony tail) in the background looked at me and rolled his eyes. I'm assuming from the inconvenience of re making my drink. Now I understand this is a first world problem, and I was more than grateful for them taking time to do it. However, he stared at me 3 separate times and ROLLED his eyes with disgust. Come on! It's not personal. I just need to say something because I'm really tired of those in service and sales just blatantly being unkind and think it's acceptable. Hopefully this can be used constructive. read more

It's hit or miss with this location. Usually the drive-thru wait times are decent, but the last few drinks I've ordered were poorly made. I used to go here daily and made an effort to get to know the staff (even bring them presents like Bluetooth speakers around the holidays), but with the exception of James no-one else took the time to learn my drink or name. Today I thought I'd return to try the Unicorn Frapp but as usual was disappointed. The drink is supposed to be pink and blue, but mine was only pink and tasted like plain milk? I went to another store a few blocks down to change it and they said it wasn't made properly but they couldn't fix it because they ran out of stuff. This location is seemingly smartly located, as it is right off of 94. However, forget about it if you are heading north on Highway 100. The parking lot is small but I've never struggled to find parking and I've visited several different times of the day. They also have decent space for seating, which is appreciated as other Starbucks are providing less and less space for people to stay and drink coffee. The baristas here have always been polite but not overly friendly. The ambiance is perfect for sticking around and catching up with people or sitting quietly and getting some work done. read more

For my girlfriend and I, this is a perfect stop before we head back home to Madison after visiting her family. Right off the ramp to 94 and ultra convenient. The parking lot is rather small but then again, so is the store. The drive thru can get rather long so order ahead and avoid the wait. read more

The Barista Jenny with pixie short dark hair was crazy rude to us a few mornings ago!! I always order a 3 shot expresso in a short cup filled 1/2 way with CREAM! Hot cream. every time I come to this Starbucks they use milk instead of cream, hello I know the difference as it's my drink!! The last time I came thru the drive-thru I ordered as usual but this time I asked to "please make sure it's was cream, cause the last time......." when I got to the window a different girl was about to hand me my drink when Jenny told her I needed to order a breve latte instead- while holding my drink in the air! I explained I don't a Grande latte. I want 3 shots of expresso in a short cup with heated cream. I don't want a cup of cream to dilute my coffee, I want more coffee then cream. She was still holding coffee and would not give it to me. Jenny continued to tell the girl how I needed to order my coffee and the girl continued to hold my -now cold cup of Joe. I explained to her "My coffee is now cold, I have to go, Iam in the drive thru and I don't want to argue with Jenny thru another person!! Make me another drink please- which she did! After 4 extra minutes sitting there I got my Beverage- finally! The girl said to me "next time you will have to order a Latte!" This was VERY bad customer service. I can add cream -as much or as little as I want for FREE at the counter! Starbucks always says "make it your way" But I guess Jenny wants people to have it her way! One of the slower Stabucks I've been to in the Milwaukee area. Consistently slow... but at least the orders are always correct. But opened later than anyother Starbucks I know of in the area. Not quite 24 hours, but close enough (close at 1am, open at 4:30am). Also ample space for seating and a decent number of power outlets if you bring your laptop. read more

This place is great- complete with a drive thru! Free wifi if key for me here. If I'm seen here, it's bc I'm getting serious work done. Many a PowerPoint has been completed here. They're open until 1:30am and open up again at 4:30am. Not the best coffee in town but i must admit, they are certainly up there in my books! Come on admit it, everyone needs a caffeine fix....especially first thing in the morning, and especially if you are a working parent. It good, real good. I would give it a 3.5 stars as an overall rating. It's also super convenient. The drive thru is literally right next to my freeway on ramp on my way to work. It can be busy during morning rush hour, but if there are less than 6 cars in the drive thru, I'll stop for a morning latte or chia. It is typically less than 5 minutes even with several cars in line. Drinks are good and consistent. I have been going here since they opened, and I have only once received the wrong order. That's a better track record than a lot of places. The staff is warm and friendly. I love my Gold Starbucks card and being able to pay with my phone. I can't speak much to the interior, as I always use the drive thru, but I know that they did do some renovations within the past year. read more

Usually love this place. Come every day. However today a barista named David was extremely rude to me. His excuse was it was a rough day and they were short staffed. Which mind you I get I am 100% understandable. But he was so rude when my drink was made incorrectly and then basically yelled at me at the drive up window. I have already called corporate about him but my goodness. I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Will be following through to the store manager. read more

The good thing about starbucks is you kind of always know what you're gonna get. So my ratings are mostly based on location. I like to work from Starbucks and the Mayfair location has good seating to accommodate that and even a nice fireplace on the inside. There are a number of tables in the center so the outlet situation could be improved. However because there is a drive through and is located right before the 94 ramp the foot traffic through isn't over swamped. Open til midnight which is later than most other Starbucks in the area. 4 stars fr your chain coffee joint. read more

Customer service at this Starbucks is exemplary! They should be trainers for others. I forgot my piece of cake when I left through the drive through. I called when I got home and they said "Oh no! I would like to make it right". They were very helpful! When I went back the next week they called me by name, like they remembered me. And, my coffee and cake were great! read more

This is the Starbucks in MKE that is open the latest as far as I know (closed 1:30-4am), they change the hours from time to time). A late night from work or a trip back to the city from the north, they are there for me! They are always friendly and the drinks are consistent. They are packed every night so parking is difficult at times. Drive through present, wifi, and a clean bathroom! Many exams taken here! Employees are the nicest here! read more

I love this 'Buck's.... the drive thru moves fast and even it the cars are stacked, they keep you moving. The parking lot is small, but I always seem to find a spot when I'm headed in for a business meeting or to just have a quiet spot to work from. Starbucks is Starbucks as far as coffee goes in my book. So this rating is purely based on the baristas at this location. I visit this location frequently (has late night hours) and nearly every time I visit I feel extremely disrespected by their late night staff. Typically this shift is a tad slower for them, and so they spend a great deal of their shift talking to each other on their headsets. Which, in itself, is no big deal, of course they're going to talk to each other. However, they continue to talk to one another (usually in hushed voices) when you are RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Literally, I have had someone take my order then pause to whisper something into the microphone while her staff started to giggle. Totally disrespectful and unprofessional. I have worked in the service industry and waited on tables before. I realize that customer smack-talk is inevitable...but for heavens sakes, we saved it for the break room! Not directly in front of the guests! And this is not a one time occurrence, I have noticed it when other customers approach the counter as well, and have experienced it during several visits. I don't care about their late night hours anymore, nor if they are actually talking smack about me, they WON'T be receiving my business anymore.
