I normally do not write review on Starbucks due to them being a big corporation. But It would fill me with so much regrets if I have not written this to give the people their rightfully deserved recognition. This Starbuck, located on S Seneca st in Wichita, is a small cafe with all of its... Starbuck-ish ness. Energetic pop music. Limited charging station. Loud blending sounds from the frappuchino blenders. And sweetened drinks that are vividly colorful and highly addictive. What makes this starbuck stand out is their amazing staff. For baristas whose job is to simply make drinks and being a cog in this gigantic corporation machine, the staff at this Starbuck went ABOVE and BEYOND. I want to give a shout out to Sierra (U.S. Veteran) and Hap. They embody the word "compassion" and "considerate". When they made my drinks, they spelled my name correctly and they even wrote positive affirmations (You're Amazing) on the cup, which cheered my day up! After the drinks were made, while it was not compulsory, they went out of their way and handed the drinks to me with A BIG SMILE. I was so stressed over my work but their smiles and positive affirmations lifted my spirit up. Initially, I chalked this up to them being professional and amicable. But what made me realize they were truly kind was when I suddenly got a huge cramp on my right thigh and fell to the ground. Man! I was in so much pain and was so embarrassed. I could not walk or put weights on it. It was sheering pain. But Sierra and her colleagues went out their ways to help me get up from the ground and onto a chair. They gave me water and kept reassuring me through my incessant apologizes that it was not a big deal. After a while, the cramp went away and while the ache was still there, it was manageable. They checked on me and asked me if needed anything else. I have been back to this Starbuck many times since the incident and the staff remained amiable, helpful and caring. They always ask not just me but other customers if there is anything that they could help. And they always wish you to have an amazing While every starbuck is the same with their indifferent designs and unchanging drink formulas, I highly recommend this Starbuck because of the staff and how much they care for their clients. Not as walking wallet. But as a person. Again, shout out to Sierra and Hap. You guys rock and deserve a raise! read more

I have been going to this Starbucks consistently for the past year. It is the best Starbucks in Wichita. My mobile order is ALWAYS ready, even if I make it a tad late. If I am in a hurry and go through the drive, I never am there longer than 5 minutes. Exceptional drive thru time. The staff are super friendly and always say hello when I walk in, all of them. We come here every week on Tuesday nights while we deliver our truckload to the papa johns across the street. And they make fantabulous drinks!! we come from Kansas City where most of the Starbucks over there make flat bitter drinks. Not this one, I haven't gotten a bad drinks here ever so far. Worst customer service ever. Had to make my mocha breve three times. The first two were frappes I have no idea what they are thinking we also ordered a blonde with splash of cream and a Splenda. What did we get? We got black pikes no cream no Splenda. They are idiots we went to QT to fix our very expensive crappy drinks. Called them to let them know what happened and the guy was so flippant and then hung up on me. I called back to get store number. 2762. I will also turn them into Corp. The Worse customer service in a Starbucks you'll ever find and experience. Awful. Highly recommend to not have Starbucks Expectations coming to this location! Seven, Seven employees behind the counter. Not one single employee greeted me... Waited at the counter as everyone kept walking by not paying attention to a paying customer. Let alone waited for a total of SIX MINUTES, on top of that didn't give me my receipt or offer it. I was sad to get a cup of old, bitter coffee. I ordered a cup of freshly brewed coffee at 3pm and it was not even close to fresh. The service was ok, but it was just pouring a cup of coffee. I went to the Starbucks at 2625 S Seneca st to get one of the free reusable cups when I was informed they ran out. I then tried to order a chai tea latte and was informed they were out of the hot and cold versions. So I just ordered a plain coffee and I told the girl I'm going to post on yelp about my experience and she said it doesn't matter as our stock went up today and then she went to make my coffee and before she put the lid on it she spit right in it, I told her I saw that and then I drove off. Your typical stand-alone Starbucks with a drive-thru, located in a neighborhood shopping center. This one looks like it was built from the ground up as a post-modern style Starbucks rather than converted from an old Taco Bell. No surprises here, just a refuel stop for my usual grande nonfat latte after dropping a colleague off at the airport. Good service, can't complain. read more

Coffee was delicious. But the customer service was extremely disappointing. Pulled up to the speaker asking if they could make a certain drink, and with an attitude the young man answered 'yes'. Love the frappucino sand iced drink, but every time I get a hot drink, I am reminded of the "hot chocolate" my brother made me as a child which was mud and water. The consistency and texture resembles horribly mixed powdered drinks and the taste is hardly ever sweet enough to. Peppermint mochas are the only drink I will get hot. read more

I used to like Starbucks but they're not going to get anymore of my money. At this location I've had several times where I've gotten lattes that were only half full. If I'm paying over 3 bucks for a drink It should be filled to the top. Recently my dad went in to get coffee there and he ordered me a hazelnut macchiato and he brought it to me and it was plain decaf coffee. It didn't hAve any hazelnut or milk in it and they charged him the price of a macchiato. He took it back to have it fixed and they didn't do anything to fix it. When he brought it back home it was still plain decaf coffee. Really disappointed with Starbucks. He said the girl behind the counter had no idea what she was doing. They need to learn to make a product that is worth the money. I'll stick to going to scooters. They have great customer service and always make the drinks right and they fill the cup to the top. read more
