I'm finally headed back home to Red Bluff, zooming along up the 5. I still have a ways to go and feeling like a little Starbucks pick me up. Approaching Williams, I know there's a Starbucks here. I don't really need food, just wanna fill up my travel mug with coffee. This Starbucks location is super easy on and off the freeway. Just take the Williams exit, head west over the freeway and bam, it's right there. I park and go inside, gotta use the restrooms and maybe check my work email using the free WIFI. I go in and the service is all friendly as usual. My order is easy,, just fill this thermo mug with house coffee. It's always Pikes Peak for some reason. If you really want a darker or lighter coffee, they'll make it for you but that takes longer. I use the rest room and it's clean. The WIFI works fine for email and stuff, not really for streaming Netflix or anything. Coffee filled and restroom used, I'm back on the 5 north headed home. I'm make this a regular stop. read more

Service was okay at first but I went inside with my husband and three kids. We ordered something for everyone but naturally the kids wanted more so I went and paid for more food a second time and then a third time. Before leaving, I asked for an ice water and the cashier, more aggressively asked if I wanted anything else so I thought she didn't hear me and I said can I please get an ice water and she raised her voice and said anything else?! A little more aggressively for no apparent reason. We weren't being obnoxious nor messy. Just paying customers. I would've paid for the water too but Starbucks doesn't charge. We bought coffee, two bagels, a few cheese ticks, cake pops and blueberries. We paid over $40 just for snacks and coffee so no reason to treat us like freeloaders. As a side note, not to be rude, but if I return 100 times to buy something, you have to serve me 100 times, like it or not without any aggression or rudeness. If you're in customer service, serve the customer, but if you're not a people person, find a job more suitable. read more

Service was quick and friendly, but food was kinda gross. Just ordered 3 petite scones. Saw staff dump them from the plastic package into a paper bag and hand it to me. Not sure if these had been frozen and were in the process of thawing, but the icing is wet and sticky. It stuck to the paper bag. Scones are still cold, so I suspect that is what happened. Left high points of icing in the bag. Came out of bag with strands of icing attached to bag. Ugh! Restrooms were clean. Has the new set up of communal sink outside restrooms. Faucet integrated touch free soap dispensers were empty. A pump soap dispenser was on the sink, as well as paper towels. Didn't try to activate the faucet integrated air hand dryer. I don't think I'm going to eat these scones. Wet pastries are no fun. Plus scones are usually pretty dry. read more

The quality control here needs work. This is the only crappy hot chocolate I've had at a Starbucks in the US, Canada, Japan, China, Mexico and Taiwan. It tasted like tainted water and was not hot. I tasted it in the parking lot and returned to complain but the doors were locked. They close at 5PM every day. What a waste of $5. read more

The store lobby is closed with a sign on the door saying to use the drive-thru. The Starbucks app indicates that in-store orders are available, but after placing a mobile order, you will wait in a drive-thru line for about 20 minutes to obtain your order which is no longer at the appropriate temperature due to the long wait. This store is a pass; I would suggest other locations. read more

Giving credit where credit is due-- Elizabeth was amazing!! She showed kindness toward others & patiently showed the new staff how to enter specific changes to the beverages we ordered. She was friendly & genuinely cared about the customer experience. Amazing service all around & we were helped by 3 different members of the team She was leading that day. True example of "tone at the top" & under her management, the team flowed so well. My sister & I met up with our parents here on Saturday to celebrate an early Father's Day with pops. Everything was clean inside; peaceful & umbrella-shaded outside, and each staff member was friendly, quick, and helpful. Mind you, we were there for a couple of hours chatting, laughing, enjoying various beverage. My cappuccino was tasty & then I tried their new summer boba drink with lemonade. read more

Trying to stop at the Williams Starbucks has become more trouble than it's worth. The mobile app almost always shows most drinks as sold out, the online ordering system is frequently shut down, and the store lobby is closed at least three times a week. This store is right off a major interstate, yet it operates like a forgotten roadside shack rather than a flagship convenience stop. What makes it even worse is that people often drive 15 to 20 minutes from neighboring towns just to get a coffee, only to be met with these constant inconveniences and closures. I Definitely let corporate know hopefully this gets fixed asap! read more

Waited 6 minutes before anyone took my order in the drive through. My orders simple iced americano nothing fancy. Waited another 8 minutes for my drink to be made (no line or people ahead of me, no one inside either or I wouldn't mind the wait) woman with the mask seemed to be very annoyed and acted like she didn't want to be there. Inside seemed very dirty with crumbs and spills. As a person who works in customer service in a restaurant industry, a smile, have a nice day and clean work station goes a long way. read more

The wife & I decided to take a long drive from our home area of Sacramento to visit Redding for the day and do some vintage shopping. We both agreed to stop at the next (off the freeway) Starbucks location for snacks. Firstly, I drive up to the window, no response. My wife exits the vehicle, goes to the restroom, returns, and there is no response. I am guessing at least 5 minutes of NO response till I'm like, hello? "Uhh, please hold, thank YOUUU" said with a twinge of attitude. At the window, I kindly asked for a receipt. "We are out of receipt paper!"..... really? REALLY? At this point, I could feel my inner Karen poking out, so when my wife whispered, "they warmed your blueberry muffin " I just handed back the bag saying, "I'm going to need another muffin not warmed, as stated during ordering." I know, I know, coffee places catch a ton of shhhhh.... (yeah), but... take a few minutes to tell me to politely hold on, try to find receipt paper (if possible), and have a little bit of politeness. Hannah in the drive-thru was fantastic! She was juggling multiple roles--taking orders, making food, and still keeping a great attitude the whole time. Everything was accurate, fresh, and done efficiently despite how busy it was. She was friendly, patient, and made the experience feel welcoming. One of the worst customer service Strbx I have been to. I was so dispoonted that it took from 10:43am to 11:03am just to make two specialty drinks and one regular hot coffee. I get it... they were busy and that I was not the only one there, but how does the person who ordered after me gets all of their drinks first before me. Never again will I be stopping at this strbx. After sitting there waiting for 20 mins I was watching how the baristas were make the drinks and honestly it was so disapointing how messy, and disorganized they were. So disgustingly dirty. The staff was OK putting drinks and straws on this counter. We were here for about a half hour waiting for our drinks, and not once did this counter get wiped down. We were there recently. Not very clean first of all. My Grandson overheard a conversation between two employees at the register while he's trying to order a drink. One was saying garbage needed to be dumped and the one it was directed at said it's too much. They were going on about this in front of a customer. He's 11 but he comes back to the car saying "someone's getting fired today!" I used to live in the area, lots of turnover and it's sort of hit and Miss with service. Some are very good. My experience at this Starbucks was certainly unusual and deserves 5-stars due to the professionalism of the staff and their response during a crisis. And by crisis, I refer to their system going down while a massive line of caffeine addicts sat patiently in their cars outside in the hot summer heat. We were coming home from a long road trip and apparently had the same idea as half the population of Williams, so we decided to avoid the drive-thru line and order ahead via the app. This turned out to be a lucky decision. Right when I walked to the door, they locked it up and added a written sign about being closed due to the machines malfunctioning. I knocked on the door and told them we had already ordered and the nice gal, who was already feeling the pressure from the beeping line of cars outside, said they'd get right on it. Even with all the madness, she delivered our drinks in less than ten minutes with an apology. Starbucks in general is totally hit or miss in terms of service, but here they were handling an unfortunate situation well. Beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. Ample light. Loved the games including pick up sticks. That's about where the positives end. Dirty seating, dirty tables, dirty drink counter, dirty bathrooms. We asked for our breakfast sandwich to be extra toasted. The bacon looked raw. The savory breakfast sandwich had someone else's frosting on the bottom. Not appetizing nor did it taste good like this. Made a pit stop here on our drive back home from Oregon. I felt the need for something refreshing and remembered having the "pink drink" a while back and liking it. I also wanted to try their new chocolate pistachio swirl pastry. So after using the facilities, I ordered my drink and treat and waited for the order, which took a little longer than usual. The drink did not taste as good as it was the first time I tried it (at a different location), it was more watery and tasted different, not as flavorful, and the pastry was so small and dry and nothing I would ever order again. Overall a disappointing Starbucks experience. But the worst part was the water. I asked for an ice water and when I tasted it it was by far the worst tasting water I have ever tried in my life! I understand the free water they give is tap water, but for the money Starbucks makes, they can't throw a cheap filter on the tap in the stores where the water is absolutely hideous and undrinkable? I mean, wow was it bad. I threw it out and I literally never do that. Maybe they mistakenly gave me old bong water? LOL read more
