This was, without question, the worst Starbucks experience I've had in California. One of the two restrooms was out of order with no signage indicating so, causing a line to form for the single working restroom, which was left in poor condition. Despite the store being far from busy, there was no effort to welcome customers -- no greeting at all, unlike the standard I've come to expect at Starbucks locations nationwide. When my 78-year-old mother, who has some difficulty hearing, asked about the summer drink menu and requested samples, the employee helping us was distracted, curt, and visibly irritated by the questions. She informed us there would be a 20-minute wait because she needed to help other customers, despite there being only three other people in the store, none of whom were waiting to order. When we said we'd rather leave, she reversed course and explained she actually needed to prepare samples for other customers first -- a detail she hadn't mentioned initially. The interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful, particularly toward a senior customer, and I found the lack of transparency frustrating. Having worked in customer service myself, I was surprised by this level of service at a company that prides itself on the customer experience. Pleasant time at this Starbucks. Normally, my wife and I do not frequent this chain. We were with our relatives, and they are Starbucks fans so we made a stop here. Shop is conveniently close to Interstate 5 in Willows, CA Staff were welcoming. Shop was clean as were the restrooms. My Strawberry Acai Refresher was refreshing. Wifi worked great. Not surprised reading all the bad reviews. Stopped for my partner to get a coffee and for me to use the restroom. Filthy restroom, no toilet paper, no seat covers, and garbage all over the floor. The sink and toilet were both dirty too. So I go out into the lobby and say excuse me to the guy behind the counter and KINDLY let him know the restrooms need attention. So he barks at me that he knows, then goes on barking that they are short-staffed and they will get to it when they get to it. I couldn't even believe he was speaking to me that way. It was awful, and other guests commented on his rudeness too. I waited a day and then called to speak with a manager, and he answers the phone ( I know it is him by his accent and tone). He says he is the shift manager, and I ask for the store manager, and he says they are out for the week. So I call corporate. The guy there takes a report and says they will pass it on to the store manager. I recommend you stay clear of this place! read more

03/30/2019 - Stopping in for a bit of iced tea and a restroom visit on the road trip to SoCal. We walked into see the staff inside the location working diligently at serving the drive through and cleaning the store with a few guests sitting at tables inside of the Starbucks. We were immediately greeted with a genuine welcome and offer to help by Abby at the front register. Small talk ensued followed by placing an order and paying for the order and every bit of this was fun, friendly and professional. Abby wishes us a safe trip and went back to cleaning with a smile. While waiting for our drinks we observed the team working together, handling the drive through and or cleaning up, the entire time seemingly to really enjoy each other's company. I asked for the MOD and as one was not present, the supervisor came out to talk. She (I totally forgot her name) was also amazing and really seemed to care about the customer experience. I passed on my observations about the team, the location and of course Amazing Abby and how our stop was really above and beyond what is typically experienced. All in all, I plan to stop in at this location for my caffeine/iced tea each time I pass through the area as the quality of product was the best I have had at a Starbucks and the service was top notch. read more

Well, its a Starbucks, you can't really go wrong but this place is open early and sometimes packed due to its only location probably within a 30-mile radius, which I must say is quite unusual for Starbucks in general. I was traveling to my grandmas house and decided to stop at Starbucks with my aunt to get a little refreshment! I am from Sac and I love Starbucks, so why not stop here? We went to the drive thru and ordered our drinks. 1 Venti drink 1 ICED green tea latte When at the window, to get our order, I noticed that my aunts drink was a grande. She questioned it and was like "I ordered a venti but if I was charged for a grande then whatever" Then my order came out and it was hot. We asked if they can make it iced like I had requested. The gal took my drink and said "she didn't say iced, but okay" I for sure did. It's the only drink that I order from Starbucks ALLLLLL the time! Great staff, but soap dispenser in the bathroom is broken, empty, and dirty. I wonder how many people waited for the other restroom to wash their hands, and how many just touched every other surface in the restaurant with dirty hands. What I like about this place is that it's almost exactly half-way between Redding and Sacramento, and it's freeway-convenient. It's the perfect place to break up the trip down Interstate 5, which I am forced to make all too frequently. Also cool is that, unlike the Starbucks near my office, they take your order and get you your drink quickly, like it's a given that you've got places to go, people to see, and babies to kiss -- even if you don't. At the Starbucks near my work, the slow-ass line snakes through the display stands while each customer gets chatted up, including the obligatory pimping of the VIA instant coffee. The local Starbucks tries my patience like the hour-plus lift lines at Heavenly Valley circa 1970 -- you stand there forever, thinking, "I'm paying for THIS?" Any Starbucks with a drive thru is pretty much an automatic 5 stars for me. There wasn't much of a line or wait when I got here at 9:45am on a Sunday, and I was able to get my drink in less than 10 minutes when I ordered inside. The building is very new and the staff is nice- there were also plenty of bakery items to choose from at the time. The only negative was that they didn't have cold brew available at the time, but they made my iced coffee with soy very well. Parking is easy since the lot is big. read more
