I've been to Starbucks all over the place, but this one is a particularly great location. Conveniently, located right off Interstate 5 in the small town of Willows, Starbucks is a shiny beacon of hope on a long drive. When you come in, the staff is super friendly, often asking where you're headed. They make our drinks how we like them, and do it with a smile. There's seating inside and out, and the place (including the bathroom) is very clean. Plus you have the option of going through the drive through if you don't feel like getting out of the car. read more

This is when my (long) drive starts to get ugly... and like a beacon shining in the night sky, this Starbucks is here. Oh if only it were 24 hours! The service is always cheerful, they always ask how your trip is going and as usual the taste is consistent. They seem a little more willing to do crazy things with your drinks here too, and as in the ultimate test, will put vanilla in the kidlets hot chocolate without argument. This place deserves all five stars. They know they're pretty much the only place to get a decent coffee in the middle of nowhere, but in no way shape or form do they ever slack off because of it. If anything, they only seem to work harder. read more

I've been trying to find a place in Willows that has lighter food to grab before heading out to the race track and luckily I found this place! Went here both days I was in town last weekend and had fast, friendly service. On the first visit I was served the wrong breakfast sandwich but on the second visit my order was spot on. Both days the sandwiches and coffee were tasty, just wish they would have given me the right sandwich. I'll continue to frequent this place whenever I'm in town as long as I don't continue to have issues with inaccuracies in my order...would have been 5 stars otherwise. Hope I can update my review next time they get 100% on my order. The space was clean and felt new, not sure if they offer wifi but I'd assume they do since it is Starbucks. They staff were all really busy and I had decent cell service so I didn't ask. Prices are your standard, overprices Starbucks variety, but where else are you going to go in this small town for some fast, good food and good coffee? read more

I don't care that this is yet another invasion of Crackbucks into the heart of America. The fact that I could get a reliable mocha in this town is worth 3 times the usual cost of a quad soy mocha anywhere else in the state. These employees also seemed the only ones in the village that can work at Bay Area pace and recognize that no one wants to be in line for 30 minutes. I am so happy this place is here. read more

This is by far the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever been to. The floor, counter, table tops, and restroom were filthy.

They just stacked coffee on the counter without announcing any names. So everyone had to handle everyone else's coffee to see if it is theirs. read more

Next to AAA (need maps?) and Subway and near a new Holiday Inn Express and across from a CHP substation in a small strip mall. It is a good stop as the place is clean, the employees are friendly, the product is standard and consistent and the bathrooms are tidy. It is located one block off highway 5 so you can drive thru or stop and savor. There is a small seating area outside to take a breather if it isn't too hot or cold. Usual treats, sandwiches, protein & other boxes and coffee to revive you. Try it. read more

Their lobby is closed and I called to pick up my mobile order and they forgot about my order and made me wait outside for 20+ minutes and when I finally called again they brought it out and told me my Frappuccino was supposed to be melted because It was a coffee Frappuccino as if that makes sense read more

We went Willows Star Bucks this morning and order Oatmeal. They put to much water and our oatmeal looked like chicken noodles soup. It's not that difficult to put the right amount of water in the container. My husband said he quit ordering it in the mornings because they were putting into much water and instead he was going to McDonald's. No care attitude with the employees didn't seem to bother them that they were not doing a good job. It appears they were there for the paycheck. read more

Maybe I'm easily impressed but there is a Starbucks in the middle of nowhere. But if that wasn't enough to give it 4 stars, the staff here are some of the nicest I've had encountered in my travels. Maybe because Willows doesn't really have jobs for teenagers except Walmart, the staff here seem happy to work here. They tend to be friendly and full of youthful vitality. The lobby though small is always clean, and there is plenty of outside seating. Which most people can't take advantage of for half the year. It's hot in Timbuktu. The drive thru is awesome at 6am when I head to the track. Despite the occasional mistake I've not had a bad experience here. And besides...it's a Starbucks next to a rice patty. read more

I love the Willows Starbucks. Probably the best customer service you can get. I come here quite often and always find the staff to be very courteous, helpful and all around great people. The staff actually seem very happy which gives this place a good vibe. Service is fast and quality is great. The inside is newly remodeled and always clean. Would highly recommend!!! read more

Spacious and modern with attentive staff. But, bring your fly spray. I mobile ordered and then sat for 20 Minutes to catch up on email on the long drive north. The flies were as distracting as the other customers who were busily swatting them in line. Bzzzz. read more

I would just like to confirm the excellent ratings previously posted about this Starbucks. The staff was super nice in spite of the fact they must deal with many, many drive-by customers they might never see again. There is easy access on and off the freeway, a Subway next door, and tables out front to enjoy some fresh air and a nice break outside before getting back on I-5. read more

Just went through on our way back home from a trip and completely surprised with the service. Ordered a nitro cold brew with sweet cream, barista made it wrong 4 times and still it came with ice and a straw, which is not how it's supposed to be. Peppermint mocha served with no whip and chocolate shavings, and a white mocha she pumped two pumps and the pump made the "I'm empty" noise and instead of switching it out with a new one," the barista just started to pump it like crazy putting whatever amount in, and served with no whip. After waiting an extra long time we got all three wrong drinks with no, sorry about that wait guys. As a Starbucks employee there were so many missed steps, wrong steps and poor customer connection. Being an employee J should of spoken up, but being after a put of town trip I was over it. I wouldn't recommend this StarBucks, go up the road a bit, and always ensure you get what you paid for. StarBucks genuinely wants you to have the best experience but this experience was not that. read more

This is definitely a far above average Starbucks. The staff was fast and efficient. The sandwiches were prepared quickly and were delicious. Decaf espresso triple shot was just the right strength. After a decade plus of road trips with the family I'd definitely say we've stopped at dozens of Starbucks and few were this pleasant. My daughter told me to take off a star because of the flies but what can you do. It's summer in NorCal. read more

I stopped off there while I was traveling to get a white mocha and it was not worth my time. I should have just gone to the McDonald's and gotten a McCafe. Will not return. read more

My husband and I always stop here on our drives between Redding and Sacramento, Last weekend we were driving back to Sacramento from Redding and stopped in for a refill on our drinks around 6pm. It had been a terrible day and I'm sure I looked like hell, red and puffy face from a day of crying. I asked the barista working the register (I wish I remembered his name) if there was a way to reheat my chai because I had barely drank any and didn't want to waste it. He explained that they couldn't really do that but offered instead to just remake the drink for me. I tried to protest, but he just smiled and insisted. At the end of such a bad day, this tiny little gesture was so sweet and kind. Whether or not my hellish looks had anything to do with it, it was wonderful. And the chai was quite tasty, as well. read more

Worst experience at any Starbucks EVER! Asked for a pour over, of course they tried to push the brewed version, I prefer pour over cause it doesn't taste watered down. Usually a five minute pour over process, but for some reason took ten minutes... stepped into the bathroom for two minutes, come out and they look shocked and I literally see and hear the guy say, "uh oh!" Lady says. I'm so sorry but we gave yours to someone in the drive thru. So I calmly wait ANOTHER ten minutes for a new one! Now most Starbucks use syrups that they pump into the cup, however this one uses weird little squirt bottles... I like a very sweet vanilla pour over so it's sweet but strong from the fresh ground brewed pour over, but I alway ask them to stir it really well so the syrup doesn't settle to the bottom. When I get the second one, it taste horrible and like water-ish coffee. I ask did you stir it? They all say oh I'm so sorry we forgot! They don't offer to do it, so I am forced to and it's so full that when o pop the lid, of course coffee everywhere; no help at all from them, I stir it and make a huge mess, I clean the whole mess, taste it and it's horrible as if there was never any "squirt bottle water vanilla substance," AT ALL. Mind you, I've been absolutely calm the whole time cause I'm a 6'4 giant and can come off scary, though my toe nails are pink, lol! I calmly set it all, cup, lid and dirty napkins at their part of the counter and walk out to my car! I sit for a second and call the store to request my money back and a number to call to complain, she says, "oh I'm so sorry and we are making another one now and come through the drive through and we will give you your money back and the coffee you actually wanted, stirred up and sweet, we promise!" I didn't want the coffee but you try to stop a persistent, condescending Starbucker! I get to the window, she gives me my money, the number to call to complain and a new coffee. I just say thank you, yep, yeah, uh huh.... pull away, take one drink, and I swear to you it was the most watered down, not sweet, definitely not poured over cause this third one didn't take 10 minutes like the previous two!!! Absolutely the worst Starbucks in history! I poured it out down the road cause it was absolutely just watery crap. (Of course I didn't litter the cup, so calm down tree people) made my way to the next one in Chico And frankly by the looks of that spot, you may get stabbed getting out of the car... needles to say, after 800 miles on the road and just needing a coffee to keep going another five hours, I finally got an amazing coffee, exactly as I asked at the Willows Starcraps, an hour and a half north in Redding! (Disclaimer... the lady at the Willows Starcrap location did give me a 4 dollar, "on us," card which I gave to a homeless guy around the corner. Though I feel bad because I don't even wish that crap upon that poor guy) I later read the reviews about this Starbucks and apparently over the last six months, several people think the same about this terrible location! (No trees or homeless individuals were harmed during the making of this yelp review... this is my own experience, if you had better, good for you!) read more

My drink came out fast but none of them said my name or the drink type, so I assumed it was another customer's drink. And it was taken a few minutes later. I asked the employees if my drink was being made because 6 drinks were made for the 6 people behind me. They checked and said we will get that going. They made my drink but I am lactose intolerant and I saw that the drink wasn't made under what I had asked for. I sounded like a jerk when I said this isn't the right drink and they made me another but tasted like complete shit. My money is valuable to me because I'm a college student, this was a waste of my money that the employees obviously didn't care about.
