The store wasn't busy at all, there weren't any paying customers waiting, and there were three baristas behind the counter. When we arrived, there was also a group of about 10 people sitting at the long table near the entrance without any drinks. About 10 minutes after we sat down (we needed a stretch break from the long road trip) I went up and asked for a cup of iced water for my partner. The barista immediately asked, "Did you order a drink?" which caught me off guard because it didn't sound friendly and I've never been asked that. I told her yes and pointed to where my partner was sitting. It was disappointing to be questioned over a cup of water after buying a drink, especially on a day that was in the high 80s. What stood out most was the attitude. No smile, no friendliness, no effort to make customers feel welcome. Everyone behind the counter looked like they didn't want to be there. I've been a Starbucks Gold member since high school, almost 25 years now, and this was one of the least welcoming Starbucks experiences I've had. Customer service doesn't have to be over the top, but basic kindness and courtesy go a long way. Note to the district manager, check in on your employees.

This was, without question, the worst Starbucks experience I've had in California. One of the two…read morerestrooms was out of order with no signage indicating so, causing a line to form for the single working restroom, which was left in poor condition. Despite the store being far from busy, there was no effort to welcome customers -- no greeting at all, unlike the standard I've come to expect at Starbucks locations nationwide. When my 78-year-old mother, who has some difficulty hearing, asked about the summer drink menu and requested samples, the employee helping us was distracted, curt, and visibly irritated by the questions. She informed us there would be a 20-minute wait because she needed to help other customers, despite there being only three other people in the store, none of whom were waiting to order. When we said we'd rather leave, she reversed course and explained she actually needed to prepare samples for other customers first -- a detail she hadn't mentioned initially. The interaction felt dismissive and disrespectful, particularly toward a senior customer, and I found the lack of transparency frustrating. Having worked in customer service myself, I was surprised by this level of service at a company that prides itself on the customer experience. Based solely on service and cleanliness, I would not recommend this location and won't be returning.

I've been here plenty of times over the years, although I definitely don't make it in as often as I used to. Every time I come back though, I wonder why I waited so long. It's classic small-town diner food in the best way. Good portions, food comes out hot, and you're actually full when you leave. Breakfast especially is hard to beat when you just want a real breakfast without someone trying to reinvent eggs and charge you $19 for them. The service has always been part of what makes Nancy's Nancy's. Friendly, casual, and familiar. It feels less like going out to eat and more like stopping by a place that's just always been there. And being right at the airport gives it a little personality of its own. You can sit down, eat a good meal, watch what's going on outside, and forget for a minute that places like this are getting harder to find. I may not be one of the regulars anymore, but Nancy's will always be one of those local spots I'm glad we still have.

I had scrambled eggs with crispy potatoes and extra crispy bacon AND Biscuits and gravy on the side. Delicious! I am only 135 pounds so I always have leftovers! The people were super friendly that were having breakfast! They have indoor and outside seating and doggy friendly! They also had beer and wine and mimosas. You can watch the planes come and go on their shaded patio! Easy on and off the freeway! Ps. Love it's history about Doolittle using this strip as a training ground in 1942 against Japan..the old folks filled me in today! Lastly..thank you Dominique for being an awesome waitress...hard working and sweet! Great experience!

If you're from around here, you've probably eaten here more times than you could count over the years. I don't go nearly as often as I used to, but when I do, it's still pretty much what I remember. Big portions, good comfort food, and a menu big enough that somehow everyone can find something. Breakfast is always a safe bet, especially when you want an actual breakfast and not three decorative pancakes on a plate that somehow cost $25. The portions have never exactly been shy either. Black Bear seems to operate under the assumption that nobody should leave wondering whether they ate enough, and I can respect that. Service at the Willows location has always been pretty solid in my experience. Friendly, casual, and usually quick, even when the place gets busy. It has that familiar small-town restaurant feeling where there's a decent chance you'll recognize somebody at another table before you finish eating. I may not eat here all the time anymore, but it's still one of those dependable Willows spots. Nothing complicated, nothing pretending to be something it isn't. Just a big plate of food, good service, and a very real possibility that you'll need a nap afterward.

Upon walking in, the amazing atmosphere immediately grabs your attention, featuring vibrant Japanese murals and a modern, polished look. The entire establishment is very clean, and the service is truly top rated, striking the perfect balance between professional and genuinely welcoming. The food is where this spot really shines, as everything served is very fresh and beautifully presented. The house salad is a crisp, refreshing way to begin, followed by hand rolls that showcase the kitchen's expertise. The Spider Hand Roll features perfectly prepared soft shell crab with excellent texture, while the Escolar Hand Roll is incredibly buttery and rich. Between the fun "Prize Wheel" at the counter and the high caliber of the sushi, it is clear why this is a local favorite. It is a must visit if you are in the area.
