I have always liked this Starbucks store. Normally, I order through Uber Eat. in the past, the store manager would send nice notes, if there was an issue, or if they were out of something but the app didn't reflect it, the manager would reach out to me. But the last couple of orders are so out of scope. I ordered a coffee and refresher, an oatmeal with water and nondairy milk, a warmed croissant, and a warmed apple croissant. the Refresher was not in my order, both croissants were thrown in a bag cold. the oatmeal was dry. it seemed to me, they threw stuff in the bag, didn't verify the order, and didn't care. so I won't be going back. and I changed my Uber Eats location to another one. sorry but you need to do better. read more

The service is friendly. there was one scenario a few years ago where someone was unwilling to communicate with me (deaf) and after five mins of struggle & requesting either a 1. Pen on paper 2. Writing in either of our 'notes' section on Apple Phone or 3. Asking if theres someone around who knows sign - the first two denied and third was not availble. I've moved to Toronto, the is last time was just a visit Then they wrote down "no, i wont communicate with you on notes but you can leave the line up and order online and return like everyone else" (this was after 20 minutes of waiting in line with my notes of what I wanted already written out, but I had the questions "which of these two items are preferred number 1 or number 2 (listed the names down so that it was closed ended" and " which is less sweet, or preferably is there a 'no-sugar' option" Eventually she wrote in notes (still avoiding he question) "If you're deaf why didn't you come with an interpreter" Followed by "make coffee at home, then its super easy get one of those machines and you have all the choices in the world, you're so cute omg do you hav instagram ?" Im even tempered so I chalked it up to a yonge age, and a product of our the generation and the environment we are around. (Some People still roll their eyes at this) But, she could have, with all possibility - been in a coma for 3 years. She could be cognitively impaired. She herself could be a new hard of hearing person - what if I asked HER what she needed? What if it's her first day so shes just mumbling words and absolutely terrified and its her first job and her first day? The community isn't just connected by language..it's connected by the fact we are all human. We need each other in ways we cant put into words. 2nd chances matter. Human decency & courage matter. None of us are perfect. When we take an opportunity to educate even if WE ourselves are hurt...we grow the community and we grow the willingness and desire of a hearing individual to learn sign language. I have been coming to this particular Starbucks for 4 1/2 years , every single day . I know we sometimes have bad days and give people the benefit of the doubt . BUT the also have to realize that by giving bad energy and poor customer service can also ruin a customers morning on their way to work. Which I had this morning. I walked in to get my usual the person that help me with Sarah.. not sure if she was the manager assistant manager, because she was instructing other coworkers instructions . I placed my order and waited for my order. I received my drink and was waiting for my food when Sarah approached me and gave me my food. I noticed that I didn't have Sriracha, so I asked " I apologize can I please have some Sriracha" she gave me attitude I put my hand out for her to give me the Sriracha, and she threw it on the counter. I didn't say anything, and I just walked away as I was on my way to work. I noted that she forgot my cream cheese for my bagel so I called. she was the one that answered the phone and I told her that she had forgotten my bagel. She knew exactly who I was and I told her that she forgot my cream cheese and she omg yes I did . I told her that I did not appreciate the way she serve me. She forgot my cream cheese and when she was going to give me the Sriracha, I put my hand out for her to give it to me and she threw it on the counter. She didn't have much to say. Always love to bring my puppy with me to the drive thru. The girls are always so king & welcoming to greet my puppy with a puppacino! The only downside to this location is that I've had multiple orders messed up, it's usually not too big of a deal due to the wide selection of the menu being tasty. I order the same drink almost everyday for $7. Every single day it's inconsistent and one time my coffee was chunky??? Very nice baristas but the coffee is so inconsistent and sometimes the oatmilk is bad. Customer service is okay depending on who's there. Most of the time, I say my drink is not right and they ignore me and continue making drinks for other people. I understand you're busy, but it shouldn't be like this most of the time I go to. I entered the building around 7:00 am to order a drink for my mom and I. The place itself is very clean and very spacious compared to the Montgomery and Oswego Starbucks. When I walked up to the counter I was greeted by Kelly who was phenomenal! She made great suggestions and was very friendly. I've been a loyal Starbucks customer up to this incident. The advertisement was for a one day event for a free holiday cup with a holiday drink purchase. Then 50 cents off using that cup throughout the season. I made a special trip through 2 towns to get here to partake in this holiday promotion (I usually shop in Yorkville other days). I waited in line patiently for the barista to inform me that they were out of holiday cups. I heard a disgruntled sigh come from the people in line behind me. It was 10am when I got there. I said "can I get a rain check on this cup so I can be part of this promotion?". The baristas said "no". She asked if I wanted something to drink. After the bitter taste of this "bait and switch" and all the memories of how Starbucks had done this to me before, I said "no thank you" and left with my wife. I contacted Starbucks customer service and they confirmed what the barista had said. Guess if I would have been there camped out in front of their door that morning, I might have had a chance. Life's too short for this kind of business practice. They always make my coffee righ and every coffee is right!! Used their drive thru in super hot humid summer days - for most part is efficient and you are on your way. I usually go to this location on my way to work and never have any complaints. This week in particular, I work the night shift. I've gone here every night this week ANY time before 9pm and had no problem. I went through the drive through at 8:33pm on a Wednesday night and no one answered me. I then pulled around to the door at 8:38pm and the door was locked. VERY disappointed. Working in retail, I understand the urge to lock up early and leave but never act on it. I frequent a lot of Starbucks in the Aurora/Naperville/Oswego area. This location is my favorite. The food is always good and always fresh. The coffee drinks are always well done. Finally, this location offers high end coffee for those coffee aficionados who are willing to pay for it. Nothing like a smooth-wake-you-up Jamaican Blue Mountain cup of coffee on a special day. For those who prefer their premium coffee from a different continent, they have those also. This particular location always messes it up and then has to remake my order. if they left your order on the screen at the drive in up for more than a nano second, I would be able to catch their mistake prior to them making the drink. Bar seating along the front window makes for fun people watching. The staff is friendly and personable.
