The wait was ridiculously long and after waiting 40 minutes, I had to ask for a refund because my drinks were not even close to getting done. The one employee that was making drinks, stated that she had to prioritize the drive thru first before the lobby. Many customers in the lobby were very upset as no one was getting their orders. This location is the perfect example of the entitled Starbucks employees environment. So we travel by van, to large to go through drive thru.. we park to go inside and order... I ask several people if my wife can use the restroom while I stand in line to order my coffee, none of them will release the code, and use this army code like "only the front register knows it", stupid. While in between each order she's stepping away from the counter to take care of orders... my wife needs to pee while my kids are in the van Lady, it's the restroom for a customer... you guys need to stop treating the restroom code like the launch codes for a nuclear attack. On our way to the University of Oregon (go ducks) to visit our son. Went through the drive thru of the Yreka Starbucks(Fort Jones). The service was mediocre at best. However the food and coffee is decent. Decided to go into store and use the restroom before getting back on the road. Since the restroom had a code required, of course I went to ask one of the employees what the code was. Surprisingly(yeah right) the woman with the blank hair, "Dora haircut", didn't know the code. As a matter of fact, she said only the person at the cash register knows the code. So thankfully, a nice customer saw that I was anxious to get to the restroom so he was nice enough to give me the code. It's so sad that Starbucks have employees working at their store and not know something as important as the restroom code. So when I came out of the restroom, of course I let "Dora" know what the code was. I don't mind training your employees if that's gonna give me and anyone else who comes in your place of business, spending their hard earned money, expecting to get better service. I am a long time customer and use my Starbucks app regularly. I have spent thousands upon thousands at Starbucks. I "had" to use the bathroom "before" I ordered, we've all been in that situation, right? But they would not let me use the bathroom by giving me the door code "Until" I ordered, even though I said I was going to get something. Why would you treat a customer like that? What if I came in and had to wait behind 2 or 3 people, do I just poop myself right in front of them? I will not go to this Starbucks EVER again, and you shouldn't either!! Stopped for one drink. After waiting 15 minutes the line inside had not moved. A lady standing at the counter waiting was for her drinks as more and more orders piled up full a 20 minutes as we waited. The same car was waiting at the drive through window the entire time and that line was piling up as well. Went to the counter to ask for a refund as we had to get back on the road. No one acknowledged us for another 6 minutes while multiple employees walked by the register. Adequate staffing that moves with some urgency would greatly improve this location. read more

Drove for 4 hours and decided to stop for coffee and potty break at Starbucks. Went in and asked girl working what the code was for the bathrooms. I was told she didn't know and to please wait. The drinks was good as they should be, I placed a mobile order for in store pickup but ended up picking up at the drive thru window and was told that I needed to go inside to pick up my drink, being from Seattle it doesn't matter if you click on inside pickup or drive thru pickup we were able to pick up our drinks regardless of what we've selected. Being a small town and not being busy it shouldn't matter which option was chosen the employee should be able to walk a few feet away to pick up the drink to hand to a customer. read more

The workers have no customer service skills and do not know how to act in front of customers. It took over 25 minutes to get my drinks. I got a pink drink with light ice. Please look at the photo and see what it says because it confirms light ice. Bit what I got was extra ice it was difficult putting the straw in because the drink has more ice than drink. I would not be making this review if there was regular ice and we got the drinks sooner. But it seemed like they kept on making other peoples drinks and forgetting mine. It was not a great experience especially if you have a 5 hour drive. So the girl hands us the card reader that shows if you want to give a tip. When we drove away it didn't make us feel very good. Since we always tip anyway. Just thought you should know. This is the only Starbucks in Yreka. The next closest one I think is 60 miles or so in either direction. This location is okay. It's the only one in this town and is always busy. We had our worst Starbucks experience here. The staff here is so rude specially a guy who spoke rudely in a sassy voice. So here is what happened- we missed the spot where we had to order and drove to the window directly which was our fault. But there was no one behind us so we ordered at the window and no one told us to go back. We order our drinks with crushed ice. But when the order came it was too sweet and ice was not crushed. When we told them that a guy in a sassy voice said " we are not LA Starbucks, do you want it or not !" This was so uncalled for and we were shocked. We were so polite all the time and this was so uncalled for. If the Starbucks manager is reading this please loose employees with attitude. This is not good for business. Not sure what history or experience the guy had in LA but I am sure with that salty attitude he would have trouble everywhere. read more
