!!!!!!!! BEWARE -GROCERY OUTLET. Yreka, CA. !!!!!! Beware when buying fruits and vegetables at grocery outlet. I bought a bag of potatoes along with some other items yesterday and when I had gotten home I discovered that the potatoes were rotten! I proceeded to take them back to grocery outlet and they return them and I purchased another distributor's potatoes. To my dismay, that bag also had rotten potatoes! When I was talking to the lady in the checkout behind me she said " that's what they're selling nowadays ". Just because a grocer sells discounted items, they should not be rotten or spoiled! I tried to return the second bag today, but the manager would not allow me to return them without a receipt (My wife threw away the receipt). I then informed the manager that our family will never be shopping at grocery outlet again, I have two grown daughters and sons with children and plenty of friends here in Yreka who I'm definitely spreading the word to. I guess I'll be getting all of my fruits and vegetables at either raley's or Walmart. read more

Grocery Outlet - Rotten potatoes - Grocery Near Me - Yreka, California

I will think twice about returning to this location. Yesterday after a short shopping a car stereo was stolen from my car. When I reported it later to the manager, her attitude was that thefts happen often and her hands were tied. She needs to post a warning on the door that thefts in the parking lot are common protect your valuables. Is that so hard to do? This location is off highway 5 and unsuspecting travelers should be alerted. It doesn't cost them anything. read more

I do like to shop here. The thing that bothers me is that no one bags my items. I am not that great at bagging and I feel like I hold up the line. I find it difficult to bag and pay. It may be enough for me to go somewhere else. I am hoping someone will respond to this review. read more

I'll hit G.O. whenever I have a chance. You can get the snacks you need, stuff for dinner and unique items. Sometimes you find gems! Whether it's a crazy ice cream, a secret sauce or a mis-print wine. Always worth cruising the aisles. Better than average staff. Love shopping here for the prices and availability of some organic produce. Often find items that I wouldn't have in other stores that I usually shop in. This is a complaint filed with Corporate Grocery Outlet in Yreka. I've left 3 messages. Phone, FB messenger and Grocery outlet website. No answer. At approximately 1:15 my husband Randy and I, Christine, went in to the store for some shopping. We are older and I required a restroom break. The women's was unlocked as I entered. A young lady whose name I found out just now is $#@ was exiting a stall and asked if there was paper in the one I entered. I said no. She offered to ask the produce stocker I said thank you and waited. I went out the door and saw my husband and asked if anyone was bringing toilet paper. He said the lady was still stocking. I asked him to get some out of the men's the door was locked. He said he was just going to buy some and took off to the isle. I looked around the corner saw produce stocker and asked if the men's restroom required a key. She said yes. I called my husband back telling her he was on his way to buy toilet paper and could we just check men's first. She was quite displeased. She unlocked his door while I stood at mine. Then walked between me n the door and pulled it closed locking it. I asked her immediately why did she do such a thing knowing I'm going in there? She replied it's her job to keep it locked. I said but you KNEW we were just trying to get ourselves some toilet paper and asked her did I do something to her? She kept walking away. I tried the door and it was locked. I had to follow her back to ask her to open it for me. Unreal. I asked for a manager. Another gentleman came up behind her I said I'd like a manager they both walked off. I went up front and asked another employee for a manager at that time I heard one saying here. Manager is who I reported this to. With just a simple apology. I told her we've never said anything but good about this store. I didn't get the employees name I'm on my way back in now. I was shaking. You can't make this stuff up. We were told go use our own bathroom. I would like someone to respond to this. I can't imagine any other people getting treated like this. Shop here if you want to come in contact with lots of people not wearing masks during COVID. Brianna the manager says that they can't make people wear masks. As a private company, they can demand that people wear masks to enter the store. It's as simple as that. read more

Never go to this grocery outlet. The owner is the rudest lady you have ever met in your life. They will purposely bag all of your stuff with things that they find that they want or like and they will not put the bag into your cart so if you're not quick and you don't see them place it Below on the shelf then you will leave without it most people from this area. Do you live in remote areas so by the time they get back to their place, there's no chance and then they claim to put things back onto the shelves, but in reality, they just take it so if you happen to go to this grocery outlet, just make sure you watch your back because they're thieves. Make sure to check all your vegetables too. They sell rotten vegetables, and all of their expiration dates are expired, there's better outlets within 10 miles. I recommend just going there don't give this lady your business she is rude she steals, and she will not give you your stuff back. I have gone in with evidence of receipts. Camera evidence had them pull up the cameras, everything and still would not give me my merchandise or give me my money back, don't waste your time here read more

I wish the store management would take greater care in minimizing he chance of covid spread. There is a spray bottle station at store entrance to use if one wants to but nothing to wipe cart down. The cashiers should wear facemasks. The last time I shopped there the cashier coughed into her hand and then immediately proceeded to handle and bag my groceries. That is not ok. She sounded and acted sick. That is unacceptable. I appreciate the essential employees but management needs to address weak covid protocols. read more

Place is mostly good for products like their snack, frozen/refrigerated, canned/ boxed goods and booze. Thier meat section is pretty sad as they don't have much options regarding cuts. The produce section is decent. Most to all things here are cheaper than some other places due to the expiration dates being close due so check them before you buy. Some essentials like milk is cheaper than Walmart so for you out there trying to save here and shopping here adds up in savings. read more

Very upset with this particular grocery outlet. Bought an item a week ago for 1.99. Bought several cases. I came back today to get some more and they said they increased the price to 3.89. How is this possible. I had proof I had just paid 1.99. The owner and manager would not give me the original price. All the other grocery outlets said they would not do such a practice. I would love to talk the corporate grocery outlet and tell them out disappointed I am for this. read more
