Had an iced vanilla latte on my way through. I asked for a cup of ice on the side which they said was no problem. The iced vanilla latte was perfect! Probably one of the best if had outside of Washington state. If I'm ever driving through the area, I will stop again. read more

Two stars because the coffee was pretty good, but the service was terrible as I waited for 25 minutes with only two vehicles in front of me, and watched while the car in front of me waited 20 minutes for a little cup of coffee and nothing else. As there were vehicles behind me, I couldn't back out and leave. When I finally got to the window, I asked the girl how come the wait was so long and she just stared at me and kind of snidely said, "It's just that way sometimes." No apology for the long wait. No explanation. Actually, no concern whatsoever. Probably not an owner, just a lousy employee. And I was as nice about it as I could be because sometimes things happen and that's understandable, but she just acted like she couldn't care less. I did didn't get her name, but she had longish brown hair and was somewhat wide with a bad attitude. I don't think I will be returning. Starbucks is just down the road. read more

This is the best place to get coffee. Unfortunately I've been using door dash a lot and with that being said. The amazing employees will call and let me know if they are out of something so that my order is done exactly how I like with the changes they offer. They are always friendly and helpful. Every time I've gone to Miner Perk I've made sure to Tip them well. I've never had a bad service there. Thank you for always taking care of me, even on my cranky mornings. I got a chance to review this place today (June 28th, 2013). I'm actually pretty impressed, and it is my new favorite coffee place. I will be getting all my iced coffee drinks from here from now on. I drove up to the drive-thru (they have 2 drive-thrus, one on either side of the building). A man was there to take our order. My neighbor ordered a traditional hot coffee drink (but a quad, as in 4 espresso shots, because he wanted a major pick-me-up, lol). But me... I have an incurable addiction to the Starbucks "Iced White Mocha" drink. I didn't see such a thing on the menu, but the order taker asked me to just describe the drink, and he could make it. I said, "Well its milk, white mocha syrup, and espresso, with ice in it, and whipped cream on top." And he said, "Ok, milky, creamy, icy, espresso. Got it!" Hehehe :) Anyway, when he brought it back, it looked DELICIOUS. I paid, and then drove out of the parking lot. I took a sip of the drink, and he basically mimicked the Starbucks drink I love PERFECTLY! I was pretty impressed. And while I do love the "Golden Rush Espresso" version of the iced white mocha, I really prefer how this place (Miner Perk) made it. Golden Rush kinda blends up the entire iced drink in the blender, so its like a slushie. But I prefer liquid drinks with ice cubes. And that's how Miner Perk did it for me. I also put a picture of their menu here. I found the staff very friendly, and the drinks are delicious. Service is speedy. Plus the prices are almost a dollar cheaper. So... Yeah, 5 stars! read more

I stopped by this place to get an espresso drink on my way back to Portland and based on all the other 5 star reviews I was really excited to visit. The staff was great and very friendly to my family (dogs included), but the two espresso drink we ordered, well... Those are the reason for the 2 stars. These both tasted very burnt and the espresso was extremely sour, the milk was too hot and also had a burnt taste to it. Both drinks were very inconsistent, so my guess is that they're instructed to just get the cup of coffee in the hand faster and bypass the quality. Sadly, I'll be trying the other options in the area on my next visit. read more

Good coffee, mediocre bagels. Ordered a large coffee with cream that was fine. Also ordered a well toasted bagel with cream cheese. The first one was hot but not toasted, the second was lightly toasted on one side and not the other.. Gave up, drove away and threw the bagel in the garbage. My current favorite for drive-thru Yreka coffee spots. This used to be the Good to Go Espresso location if I remember correctly. The coffee is strong but less burnt than other spots I've visited here. My preferred drink is the nonfat caramel latte. A medium here has two shots, and prices are standard. They have a loyalty card as well so you can earn yourself some free espresso :) read more

When you order a drink and hand someone a 20 and expect your change back and your drink only came to maybe $5 max and you sit for 20 minutes yet they don't come back to the window and just keep peaking to see if youre still there is pretty dam rediculose. I'm done. read more
