They were literally making fresh cinnamon rolls in front of us. They had some amazing looking pastries and goodies - we got a snickerdoodle and homemade oatmeal cream pie. Omg. They were both so drool worthy. We also both got lattes, they use torani syrups. SO GOOD. So good. I liked all their flavor options, and their espresso competes with some of the big chains. It made getting a latte or sugary coffee drink way too easy! I definitely had to keep an eye on my pocket book when I lived close by. Zanesville certainly lacks when it comes to the ability to grab a quick coffee. It's far behind larger cities that have a coffee shop on every corner. Starbucks is pretty much your only option if you're on this end of town. Good thing their staff is super friendly and unless it's early in the morning, they tend to be really fast. I generally go through the drive-thru but I've gone inside too many times to count. When I used to live in Zanesville and work from home, I would come work out of here often. Free wifi at Starbucks is always nice. They also keep the place nice and clean, even the bathroom. Want a few other tips? Parking is a little limited thanks to the other shops around and the popularity of Starbucks in the area. The only other Starbucks in town is inside of Kroger, which isn't always the most convenient. If you're traveling down interstate 70, I would not suggest you stop here. It's too far from the exit and driving down Maple Ave. is a giant pain in the butt.

Had a positive experience during my visit to this 7 Brew Coffee location! We were passing through…read moreon the way from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati, and decided to make a stop for something to eat in Zanesville. We did not have a 7 Brew in our area at the time of this visit, so we were very excited to try it out! This 7 Brew location is on Maple Avenue, which appeared to be a big business area for the town. It is right off of the main road, and the signage and lights make it easy to spot. There is no direct entrance from Maple. You will need to turn onto Military to enter on the side. The menu here primarily consists of coffee and coffee-adjacent beverages. There is no food, but they have hot coffees, cold coffees, energy drinks, sodas, smoothies, shakes, teas, chais, matchas, and more. Their flavor offerings are very extensive. Something I personally appreciated was the amount of sugar-free options for flavors. They go way beyond the standard few typically seen at coffee places. You can get a significant number of their menu items sugar-free, which is great. 7 Brew is primarily a drive-thru establishment, so there is not a ton of parking. However, there are some spots more near the building for those who choose to walk up and order at the window. Otherwise, there are several lanes for the drive-thru to keep it moving quickly and efficiently. The building also has signage to direct the flow of traffic for the drive-thru. If you choose to get out of your car, there are also a few outdoor tables with seating to use near the building. We opted for the drive-thru, since we were just making a quick stop. It was a little after 9:00 AM on a Saturday morning in September, and there were several other guests waiting in the drive-thru already. However, it was not too bad and we did not end up having to wait very long at all. Pretty shortly after we pulled in, one of the employees was out ready to take our order. A few of them were in the drive-thru lanes ready to take orders on iPad-like devices. The girl who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Since none of us had ever had 7 Brew before, she helped to explain the menu, give some recommendations, and provide some information about the establishment. For someone coming for the first time, just note that you pretty much cannot see the menu when placing your order. There will be some marketing signage for monthly specials, but the real bulk of the menu is more so where you pick up the drinks. This is problematic if, like on our visit, they come to take your order way before you reach that point and you are unsure of what you want. I would recommend either looking up the menu beforehand, or talking with the employees to see if they have what you are looking for. We did a combination of online lookup, talking to the employees, and looking at the monthly specials to decide what we ultimately wanted. Once we ordered, it was only few minutes until we made our way to the order pick-up area. Once we made it their, an employee brought our drinks to our specific lane, since we were not in the one right up against the building. We chatted with her for a minute, as she was kind and friendly. Since the store looked so clean and new, I was wondering if it was recently opened. She informed us it had been there for about two years at that point. Kudos to the staff for keeping it so nice looking, even with being open for several years! Service overall was very fast. We were in and out in under 10 minutes. Everyone we interacted with was quick and friendly. The staff here really seems great, so no complaints there. I ordered one of the seasonal specials, which was a Large Iced Cinnamon Roll Mocha. I really enjoyed it! It sort of reminded me of a Mexican Hot Chocolate-type drink, but slightly different. I love any kind of mocha, so this was a nice drink to sip on throughout the morning. My sister ordered two drinks. She always gets Hot Chocolate at any coffee shop, since she does not like coffee. So, she ordered a Medium Hot Chocolate, and liked it better than a lot of other chain coffee places she has tried previously. She also got a Medium Ocean Breeze Energy Drink, with positive reviews for that drink as well! I think the prices here are not too bad. We spent around $17 for the three drinks, which is on-par for any type of place similar to this. I thought the size of the large was very generous, and provided a good value for the money. Overall, we enjoyed our first visit to both 7 Brew and this location of the chain! It was clean, inviting, and super easy to navigate in and out of. We enjoyed interacting with all of the staff, as they were very hospitable. Most importantly, the drinks all tasted awesome. This experience has encouraged me to stop at a 7 Brew the next time I find myself near one. I would recommend stopping at this chain, and this location specifically, if you find yourself in Zanesville.
