They've recently updated their inside and added more tables, but took away that nook with the couch. Bummer. That was my favorite place to sit. It was like my little private space. Coffee is always delicious. Their hot sandwiches are amazing. And their baked goods have all been amazing. It has a nice chill vibe which I love. I want to just sit and people watch and read a book. Sometimes I wish that the baristas are a bit nicer and patient. They seem cold and want you to just quickly order and move on. Even when there is no one behind me. Not a lot of options in this area, and this is my favorite coffee shop in Watertown. read more

This is just want the Watertown area needed-a legit sit down coffee shop with yummy baked goods! Stopped by here the other day after seeing it had opened. It adorable inside and love that they named it Starch become the building used to be an old laundry place. Extremely nice employees working who brewed delicious fresh tea do my ice tea. Overall, I really love this place. It is one of the cutest establishments in Watertown. Their baked goods are delicious and they always have a vegan option. One constructive note would be to stop putting sprinkles in the vanilla scones; it looks tacky and food coloring has an awful, bitter taste in my opinion. Also I wish their weekend hours were longer because that is when I would like to go enjoy a cute little coffee shop. But when I am craving a coffee and this place is open, this is where I go. read more

I was never impressed by anything here but I came back dozens of times. Mainly because there aren't many bakery options in the area so I'd say if you want a bakery it's either here or Chrissy beanz based on what's closer at the time. I liked their brownie, would've liked it better if I didn't have to scrape off frosting. I tried all their cookies and enjoyed the sugar cookie base of their m n m cookie the most but would've preferred it without m n ms. It looks like occasionally they make more advanced things but you have to follow their Instagram to catch it. Overall if you're looking for a bakery and you're in Watertown this is your go to but nothing to drive out of your way for. read more
