Nowadays streetwear trends have shifted, blurring the line between casual fashion and high fashion. It's made its way into high fashion, collaborating with major fashion heavyweights like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, Vetements, etc. to list a few. Kings to me is what pure streetwear is all about at its core. No bots, no asinine reseller mark-ups, no insane pricetags, no bullshit. Just tried and true streetwear styles from iconic streetwear brands that have withstood the test of time. I'm thankful Kings and others like it still exist (Proper, BAIT, Bowls LA and Union are both kind of). I say kind of because Bowls opens whenever they want and Union definitely has a certain audience in mind with the brands they carry. Anyway, maybe I'm looking back at the history of streetwear with rose-tinted glasses, but there's no denying that the fact that a place like Kings can still thrive despite the fact that a lot of boutiques I used to frequent have either shifted to online exclusively or just shuttered their doors permanently is respectable. The fact that you can still walk into a place like this and get some sick drip without playing bullshit games and waiting for drops or buying bots to cop shit is something I truly appreciate. The staff is cool as always and if anything, their selection has improved over the years and they've definitely stepped up (heh) their shoe game as well. Anyway, my very long drawn out point is that Kings is still king when it comes to finding streetwear locally with an excellent selection. They carry all the brands; new and old. It's like Costco. Again, way above our tax bracket; the invitation was much more a reflection of happenstance than financial status, so, I needed an outfit that we could afford that would at least visually fit in with these people whose watches cost more than my car. I also needed this tuxedo quickly, with enough time to get it altered to fit my uncommon proportions. What I found at King Fashion was great inventory, along with service and value well beyond my hopes. I had researched and been to a number of stores and found none to come close in service and value. I was helped primarily by Monsef, his daughter, and also Denise. All three demonstrated amazing kindness and friendliness throughout the process. Monsef offered very sound advice about how to approach what I needed, without boxing me in to having to buy everything (or even anything) I needed from this store. He went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted with minimal delay when it turned out it wasn't in store. Alterations were done well and quickly. I love the tuxedo I wound up with, and I dare say it was one of the best ones at the event; it has some very unique details and high quality. The price was easily worth the extra stretch over renting, and was an incredible value. And of note, it wasn't just me getting great treatment. Every time someone stepped in the store, I saw that they were greeted with warmth and care. And every time I stepped into the store, they were busy, handling 2-3 customers each, keeping up conversations and consultations with each, and speed-walking around. It's the kind of mental and physical energy that really wears you down in customer service, yet they never missed a beat. they remained warm and kind and caring with everyone. Maintaining that kindness with that consistency speaks volumes, and then they offered a high-quality, high-value product to go with it. Care like that is rare these days. If you are in need of a suit of any kind, from business to wedding to fashion to formal, please give these folks your business. They deserve it.

Then proceeds to tell you " I will give you shirt, vest and tie free because I love your story." When it's more like it's free because he's ripping you off. The material is worth 100-250$ max. Tetris is a polyester mix with a synthetic blend. Aka plastic material. 89% plastic material and I am charged nearly 500$ for this. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Because how he handled all this, I was going to just go purchase another pants. But he ended up giving me a full refund anyway and told me to keep the top because I can still make an awesome wardrobe with it by pairing with different color bottom. He was right. I ended up buying a suit I wanted from him. I mean how can I go somewhere else at this point. Although it wasn't even an expensive suit that I purchased, he treated me like I was his VIP client.
