The staff were friendly however after getting medi/pedi Shellac this past weekend I was extremely disappointed. $125 later and q-nails around the corner could do a better job. Went here for the 1st time with my gf b/c it's close to my house & the reviews seemed good. My 10yr old can do a better job then this. Instead of lady doing my nails asking me I like it, she kept complementing herself. 1st red flag, be weary of those places that complement themselves constantly. Not worth the $125!! First time here and was very pleased with the service. I called last minute and they fit me in, very clean and spacious place. Lots of selections for colours and the washroom was clean. I had a guy technician who did my nails and he took very good care of me. My pedicure was very good. Usually when I have a pedicure I would bleed a bit at the heel because the Razer and scraping, but this time no bleeding and the technician was very gentle. I also love the massage chairs and the hand massages. With a gel mani and a normal pedi came to $84, not bad for the service and location. You also get lots of parking as well. Would definitely come back again for another gel mani. read more

I went in for gel nails and showed a picture for an idea. $70 later it's not like I asked and they are bumpy lumpy. No smooth shape and no apex for support. There flat with dips in the gel. The place was nice and clean and the ladies friendly but I do not think what I got was worth $70. read more

I have never wrote a Yelp review in my life, but this needed to be said. I got my nails done here just about two weeks ago. Immediately two of my nails had fallen off not even three days after. I then went to go get them fixed... around a week after that another breaks off. I called in and they said I could come anytime to get my nails completely taken off and a brand new set for no charge (which was very nice yes) and now I am sitting outside at 3pm on Sunday to get my nails fixed and even though all of their social media and website says open till 5pm NO ONE IS HERE. Not to mention my girlfriend got her nails done here as well and two broke off within two days of having them. Very disappointed in the service and the quality of this place. read more

My appointment started out very nicely. Karren was kind and friendly. My pedicure with gel polish was great. I decided to have the foot waxing. Karen charged me $25 for this. When I got home, I looked at their price list and saw the cost should have been $15. Manicure was so disappointing I should not even have had to pay for it. She did not soak my cuticles. In fact she barely even pushed my cuticles, which were in bad need of it. Took about 5 seconds in total for both hands. I didn't think much about it until I saw others around me soaking their hands. By then it was too late, the polish was going on. In the end the nails looked lovely, but I still feel I was ripped off both in money and in service. read more

Just came here yesterday and was not happy with my experience at all. The salon is clean and cute, i was very excited to come here for the first time and wanted to love it. I didn't get the name of the woman who did my nails unfortunately, and while she was friendly and nice, she did a hack job and i left annoyed and unsatisfied. All i had done was a fill. It took a FULL 2 hours. for a FILL. I couldn't believe it. And you'd think with it taking that long i would have perfect nails. Not even close. They're misshaped and lumpy. I asked for coffin shape and they are 100% square. I must have asked her 10x to make them more narrow and just eventually got so annoyed with asking, that i just gave up and accepted them for what they were. I honestly really wanted to love this place as its close to my home and looks really nice. Sadly i do not think i will be back. read more

VERY RUDE STAFF! My fiancé wanted to have a manicure before our wedding. There were only one customer that time. According to the lady who talked to us, they are fully booked for the day. While I was getting my hair done I noticed they are just sitting there and chilling and taking longer breaks, going back and forth to her car. Looks like they don't want any business . I came here after having a terrible experience at another salon who were telling me that they were putting gel on my nails but were actually putting acrylic on. I booked an appointment with Jennifer, she knew straight away that it was acrylic on nails not gel and was able to soak it off. As my nails were now extremely thin she recommended having shellac with gel on top. I was a bit unsure as I wanted them to be strong but she assured me that they wouldn't break and that it will make my nails strong again. I went back after nearly 4 weeks and they were still perfect but obviously grown out. I went to their sister salon Spotlight as Jennifer only works in Starlight on a Thursday. Definitely highly recommend both salons, staff are super friendly and really know what they are doing, great selection of colours and very reasonably priced. read more

I've been to this nail salon a number of times and for the most part have had a great experience. The pedicure tubs have removable tub liners which is great for hygiene. I also inquired about sterilization of tools and this also met industry standard. There are some average technicians and a few exceptional technicians. An online booking tool would be great. Calling at times can be tedious. The staff are pleasant and remember my preferences. I am really happy with this nail salon. read more

Aman was my esthetician for a shellac pedicure and I recommend her; she was more thorough than other places I've been to. The salon is a lot nicer than others in the area for the same price. I like how the foot bath is lined with plastic and many of the tools are one time use. There was only two people working when I came as a walk-in so I had to wait ~15 min. I called in and asked if there was anyone to do eyebrow threading, the girl on the phone said come in at 12 she will be there. so i get there at 12:10 and the eyebrow lady wasn't even there, i walk in and nobody even approached me, i walk over and see one of the girls working there listening to something on her tablet not paying any attention to her customers. i ask her if i can get my eyebrows threaded and the girl said yes 10 minutes, i'm thinking wasn't she supposed to be here at 12? but i end up leaving for 10 minutes then coming back and i ask the girl again where is the eyebrow girl, she said "she just leave oh no i call her back" like how tf you gonna have a job but just leave if nobody's there? the eyebrow girl comes after waiting 5 minutes and she looks so annoyed and she starts threading my eyebrows and last time she did them she did a good job, this time it was so sloppy and thin. and of course after she was done her job she left again. waste of money never going back. read more
