They use Texas toast, which is thick and they butter all sides. It made eating the sandwich pretty nasty as our fingers ended up all greasy with every bite. I recommend only adding butter to the bread in the middle. The outside breads do not need butter. Just toasted. The cooks forgot to add the bacon, which we ended up having to call out, and the cooks were eating in the back, which is very unprofessional!! if we would've been comp'd for anything it would've made the experience better, but it's like they don't care. Overall, I'm pretty over this place. Not worth our money at this point. We've enjoyed the waitress/waiters. They've been great overall!!

It was a Saturday afternoon and although it wasn't busy, we got everything in ample time with no hiccups. They offer craft beer from mainly Martin House Brewing Co in Ft. Worth with an excellent variety and they all complimented the food. We both like TouchTunes, so that was a plus too. While the building itself looks a little run down, it gives it great character and my thoughts went to feeling like a nice dive bar more than anything. I thought I was celebrating after a poker room in SA just made a verbal agreement with me for good money after a three-hour conversation with the owner. However, he was apparently upset I posted a video from another club in SA that was 40-minutes away and only runs one game. He was also afraid to tell me this and a coward. Solution would have been: "Can you please take that video down?" Whatever, dude. Part of reason that business won't last. A business should be run with honesty, respect, and transparency. Anyway ... at The Reagan, a biker dude came in and he was a singer in Germany because he met his German wife in the US when she was watching one of his shows and introduced herself. He was about to go back to Germany but heard good things about The Reagan so drove an hour on his bike to see it the day before he left. And he was impressed. We talked for about an hour about many things. If you visit El Paso, The Regan is a must! It's like being in a movie. Which movie? Maybe a mix between a 007 movie and Boogie Nights.

Came with 1 bratwurst 1 frankfurter and my choice of schnitzel so I went with the classic Jägerschnitzel. I chose the sauerkraut and spätzel for my 2 sides. I was absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was. The spätzel are home made which is rare to find. Other German restaurants typically use the dried bag spätzel. This dish just exploded on my palette with all the flavors and reminded me of home. The staff was amazing and kind. Just an overall wonderful experience. Thank you!

Outdoor lighting was a bit dim, but I get the dive bar vibe is in right now. Only L was that the service at the bar was pretty bad. Bartender was slow to take my order and get me my drink, on a slow night mind you. The staff inside the restaurant was great, quick to take my order and offer recommendations, and made my experience much more positive. Overall a great local spot, great stop on my cross-country road trip.
