I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered flowers to be delivered the day before Mother's Day. Before the scheduled delivery date, I was notified that the order had been canceled because it was supposedly undeliverable. I was told I would receive a full refund. Since then, I have had to contact customer service multiple times regarding my refund. On June 1, I was told they would work on it and process it as quickly as possible. On June 8, I received another message apologizing for the delay and assuring me that my money would be returned soon. When I called again on June 15, I was once again told that my refund would be processed by the end of the week. The problem is that I am still waiting for my refund. More than a month has passed since the order was canceled, and no product was ever delivered. I should not have to repeatedly contact customer service to recover money for an order that was never fulfilled. This experience has left me with the impression that customer service is no longer a priority. Once a company has your money, it seems that getting assistance becomes an uphill battle. I understand that mistakes happen, but repeatedly promising a refund without actually issuing it is unacceptable. At this point, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I ordered from Starluck after my dad died. When I placed the order online, a man called me to confirm and made fun of me saying "only women order flowers for themselves." I was in a very sad place so I ignored it but when the order arrived, it was the entirely wrong bouquet (I had ordered one with a keepsake pitcher to remind me of dad) AND it was very wilty and brownish. I asked the delivery lady to please take them back and ask the florist to call. They did. And BADGERED me about letting them resend it until I finally said I want a refund and hung up in TEARS. I checked my bank a few days later and...surprise!...no refund...no flowers. After checking online this seems standard operating procedure for this company. I was watching my credit card carefully and after 8 days I was charged $64.49. I had to contact my credit card company and now it is in dispute. I ordered flowers for my friend who had suffered a family loss. Within an hour the order was canceled. I reached out to the company about a refund. I was told 5-10 business days and the refund would show up in my bank account. After a few days the pending transaction in my bank account was no longer active and the hold was released off of the funds. Today a charge went through deducting the money from the account. When I called I was told that the refund is BEING processed, not HAS BEEN processed, completely different language than last week. Same day I order on October 5th I get this email, "I am writing to inform you that your order has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the florist in your area was unable to deliver your flowers. Based on reading other reviews just like mine where some people waited forever for a refund, I did not wait for the refund but disputed it on my credit card. Complaints found on the BBB website and in reviews were spot on. They claimed that they contract with local florists like 1800 flowers. They charged my card immediately. A couple hours later I received an email stating that they were unable to make the delivery and we're looking into the reason for this. I canceled my card and reported them to my bank immediately, so the charge never fully processed.
