*WARNING* Look what happened to my baby!! This review is for their boarding. After only a week and a half there, she is now basically skin and bones. She's always been skinny but she looks practically emaciated! My sister also boarded her dog, which struggles to eat when boarding. Because of that, she repeatedly called while on her trip and they assured her that he was eating perfectly and had no issues at all. Come to find out that he lost 5 pounds in one week!! Be VERY careful when deciding to board here as it seems they give no real care or communication about the dog's wellbeing. I'm sick looking at how my baby was neglected. I wish I could give them negative stars.

This is not my dog Jasmine, but this dog is very similar to what she looks like.

We were going on vacation and we needed a place to take care of my dog Jasmine while we were gone. We decided to book her at Starmark because she went there for her puppy preschool. We were gone for about a week. After we came back, we saw that she was shivering, not eating well, and having continuous nightmares. I then thought to myself, "How did they really treat my dog?". After a while, she started eating well, and her nightmares were not as frequent. Even though the boarding service was terrible, their puppy preschools and their behavior classes are really good! She got a lot of training and now knows several commands!. So by reading this review, you probably established that I have mixed feelings about Starmark. Overall, I would give Starmark a 3/5.

Very thankful and impressed by the life-changing intervention they have given to my Frenchie - "Halo"(peridol). It's worth every penny! Special thanks to his teacher Justine for her patience and care for Halo and just for the passion of what she does. Also, I have received consistent updates during his stay and thorough discussions throughout the entire month of training of everything needed for Halo to succeed. Plus a bonus video with a recap of all the skills he learned!

I took my youngest dog for training at Triple Crown with Kim Kelly. Kim was really awesome with Murphy. Every dog we passed just seemed to loove him. I pre-paid for 6 one on one sessions with Kim. Murphy learned a lot in the first 3..........then I got selected for jury duty and had to stop classes for a few weeks while I was @ JD. I became an irresponsible dog owner and never returned for our last 3 classes. The major reason I think we stopped going was the location. They have a beautiful training facility....... you just have to drive to Hutto to get to it. So..... if you have the time/dedication/responsibility to go through training I would definitely recommend Kim @ Triple Crown.

She truly listened to my concerns and even tried to help make arrangements when money for vet care was tight, which meant more than I can say. She goes above and beyond. She is top notch. The day after scheduling, an office representative called to confirm the details of the appointment, including the date, time, and that Dr. Driscoll would be seeing my dog. Then, 24 hours before the appointment, I received another voicemail confirming the same information and asking me to arrive 15 minutes early. I arrived as instructed, only to be told that Dr. Driscoll had been double-booked and that some appointments had been reassigned to a relief veterinarian who had never examined my dog before. For a patient with a serious cancer diagnosis, continuity of care is extremely important. If scheduling changes were necessary, I should have been notified before I arrived so I could decide whether to keep the appointment or reschedule with the veterinarian who was already familiar with my dog's condition. Instead, I took time off, arrived early as requested, and was met with an unexpected change that could have been communicated in advance. This experience was disappointing and reflected poor communication and a lack of consideration for clients dealing with difficult medical situations.

I haven't had any issues with any reservations I have made in the past, pet drop-off has been quick and straightforward as long as you have completed all the pre-work online (pet eating schedule, medication, etc). One of the main reasons why I love this place so much is being able book a reservation only a few days prior to that date and therefore not having to worry and plan months in advance to get a spot for boarding like at some other places.

This past July she boarded him for 7 days and, again, did NOT request individual play for him. However, when she went to pick him up, they had charged her an extra $126 for individual play. She called and asked why they did that, and the girl she spoke to to confirmed that none of her paperwork said anything about her requesting that additional service, but since the service was performed she owed the money. She called back and spoke to the manager, Cody, and he also confirmed that nowhere in any of her paperwork did it show that she requested this additional service, but since the service was performed, she had to pay. This is mind boggling to me that this business (basically) admitted that THEY made a mistake and that SHE has to pay for it! Shame on you Pet Suites. You don't make the customer pay for YOUR mistake. Check your invoices everyone. Pet Suites is trying to collect more than they're owed.

Allison and I attended the same college for the same degree, so we knew each other back in the day. We ran in similar circles. But this was 20 years ago. We hadn't spoken since college. I ended up moving to Austin a year ago for a job which required A LOT of travel. I saw a Facebook post that Allison had a pet sitting business. I contacted her because I felt like I was abusing all my friendships by asking them to take care of my cat while I traveled. Allison and I had a quick and energetic catch-up on the phone and scheduled a consultation. Allison and her partner came over to my house, and met my cat, Dewey. They quickly bonded. What surprised me the most was how professional this business is. Allison had a bunch of paperwork to go over with me. It was a legit operation. They have a website with a login where I can schedule services and pay my invoices. This has become one of the most useful aspects for using Chico and Chums. I can schedule a service on my portal and know that everything will be taken care of. A few months ago Dewey had some bladder problems and was on medicine. I had to go out of town for work and was terrified to leave him. Chico and Chums took great care of Dewey, and gave him his medicine, and gave me detailed updates. I was still a bit worried, so I asked for Dewey to be taken to the vet to make sure he was still okay. C&C was able to interact with my vet on my behalf and it really was a relief to know Dewey was in good hands. Now when i have to go out of town, I just immediately schedule service with Chico and Chums. I stopped asking my friends to help out because, honestly, you get what you pay for. The ease of scheduling and peace of mind that comes from using Chico and Chums is worth every bit of money I pay them. This has eased my stress and guilt about leaving my cat while I have to travel. I'm so thankful that I found a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter. I know Allison personally and can vouch for her character, and she will love your pet like it's her own. Thanks Chico & Chums. You're the best!
