Fantastic office that accommodated my last minute emergency! Doctor Heidi was very kind and even though I wasn't an established patient, she took my teenager in late on a Thursday to fix her band that broke and was poking into her cheek. We were staying with a friend who recommended Heidi as they went to high school together in Newport and Dr. Heidi treated all 3 of her kids and started her husband with Invisalign. My son received braces for a small gap between his two front teeth. He wore them for 2 years. Everything was great when he had them taken off. He couldn't wear the retainer for a few days because our dog damaged it and the space opened right back up. We had to pay for a new retainer and wait to get it. The space continued to stay open. I know things can shift over time but this was immediate. All they offered us was a new plan to start all over again or get Invisalign which costs more. All of this at no discount. It was as if the entire two years and 5k was for nothing! I am seeking a second opinion and will update after that. read more

Dr. Starnes is our GO TO, she's the ONE to go to!! Very professional, knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, staff is amazing, technologically relevant and offers individual recommendations with a realistic plan and reasonable cost. I highly recommend her and was referred by a friend. I researched a few Newport Orthodontists and scheduled a consult with Dr. Starnes for my daughters. I was $4,000 into treatment with another local Orthodontist who was overbooked, scheduling was a nightmare and time wasted at every appointment because they never started on time and the treatment plan was completely wrong. I think you can tell we were pretty fed up with our situation which is why I was seeking out a new Orthodontist. I called Dr. Starnes office to set up the consult and they got us in within a few days. The consult started on time and was approximately 30 minutes. My youngest was given the option to do Phase 1 of braces l, or not. She informed us the outcome of each option and let us decide. Absolutely no pressure. We had such a good experience that I brought my older daughter in right away for a consult. We ended up getting treatment for both of our girls with Dr. Starnes. My children love her and really enjoy being in the office and around the staf It's been very easy to schedule with them, they're not super slammed with patients so office visits are starting on time and the duration of them is reasonable depending on the treatment preformed. Dr. Starnes personally called to check up on my order daughter a few days later after her braces were placed. I really appreciated this call and was not expecting it. It was a relief that her compassion was specific to our daughter as I have not experienced this before. We enjoy visiting the office and my girls absolutely Dr. and her staff. Friendly staff but awful experience. After doing Invisalign the doctor shaved down my teeth saying that it would make them have a better appearance as they would all be the same length. I now have a gap between by bottom front two teeth from the excessive shaving and my top front teeth are chipping to the point where I now need veneers. Highly regret going here. read more

Two of my children have had Dr. Starnes for their orthodontia and I couldn't be happier with the level of service, friendly personality, and efficient office staff here. They have always treated my kids and I with kindness, patience, and are always available to answer any question, explain a treatment option, or fix a problem. When my daughter's hinge on her appliance broke during breakfast one morning, the office opened early to be able to repair it before school that day. Dr. Starnes is wonderful! The office also offers flexible payment options and worked with us patiently even as our insurance changed and was cancelled at one point.
