All these years after my first review of this beautiful place, I had to come back to write an update after a nightmare session with a dentist in Colorado. I have an adult baby tooth. Dr. Young took care of my precious baby tooth for 10 years with careful fillings. He never pressed me to do an implant to replace the tooth. He never pressed to do more work on me than I asked and what he thought would be acceptable for my health. Fast-forward to 2019 - I moved to Colorado and I accidentally chipped this baby tooth filling while flossing too hard. Long story short, the dentist wanted to force me to get an implant and she treated me like I was some kind of criminal for wanting to keep my baby tooth alive. After a nightmare session, the tooth was fixed, but not a day goes by that I don't question how well it was done. Leaving it to prayer. Moral of the story - Dr. Young is a beautiful, honest person and professional and nobody who visits him will ever have to question if they're in great hands. Beyond his dental skills, he is incredibly personable and friendly, making each patient and teammate feel welcome and part of his family. I have been a patient of his for years and recently decided to do something about my teeth, which I ground for a long time from childhood until only a few years ago, when I started wearing a night guard. With his expert guidance and counsel, decided to do some minor restoration with composite fillings to reduce the sharp edges and fill in missing parts. Been coming here for over 4years and i am so confident that i will be coming here many more years to come. Dr.Young is my husband's doctor as well and soon he will be my baby's doctor when she gets her first tooth! :) I recently visited Dr.Young bcuz i broke my crown, which was done by another dentist in SD. Dr.Young went over the procedure for the crown replacement and this procedure sounded like it will require a couple more visits. He knew that i am a busy working mom so he offered to stay late to work on my tooth so that i don't have to visit multiple times. I was so appreciative of him. Not a lot of doctors would do that. The staff are very friendly, and their facility is on the third floor with beautiful views. They don't try to sell you on services you don't need, and they do a great job of making you feel comfortable while you're there. They play great music, and there is always a smiling face to greet you when you arrive. You can tell how much they love working there because they're always laughing and have such a good rapport with each other. It instantly puts you at ease to feel the warmth of their team. I've been going to this office for about two years (found them through Yelp). I've had my share of bad dentist office experiences in the past and can honestly say this isn't just the best dentist I have ever been to, but one of the best run offices of any kind I've ever seen. Dr Young is great but his best trait as a dentist is in the support he gives his exceptional staff. I was early for the first appointment of the day on my last visit and he was pitching in in numerous ways to get everything going. Fariba is my hygienist (you normally get the same person each time) and she is fabulous. Kind, interesting and does a great job. Every appointment has started exactly on time, if not a couple minutes early. I can't quite get to saying that I like going to the dentist now (c'mon, it's still the dentist), but I can't imagine going anywhere else. There can be a decent wait to get in to see them (they are deservedly popular), but they are fantastic managing their cancellation list and letting people know when there are openings. My mom loves Dr. Young and his staff and got mad at me for not bringing her here earlier. Everyone in the office is super friendly. The dental hygienist does a really great job at taking all the crud out of my teeth and educating me about my teeth. I had a really bad chipped front tooth and felt really self conscious whenever I smiled. He was able to fix it for me within 3 minutes even though he had people waiting to be seen. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. I've been coming here for about 7 years now and always refer anyone looking for a dentist to come here. Every one of those people I referred was super excited to tell me about their first visit and is still a patient today. He's also honest, doesn't try to push any unnecessary procedures, and levels with you about what things he recommends should be done immediately and which could wait but still be monitored. The office was a little difficult to find as it is on the 3rd floor and they were doing construction around the building. But the office is really clean and the large windows lit up the place. It was a really calm environment to get some work done on your teeth, which isn't always the most enjoyable experience. Dr. Young is super friendly and felt comfortable speaking to him about the issues I was having. He knows what he's doing. I went to the dentist and was told I needed my first crown. After this other dentist did and redid my crown, permanently cementing it in, twice, I was still having problems. I was experiencing some unfamiliar mouth pain in the area of my crown so, naturally, I went to contact my dentist but, he didn't have an emergency number... RED FLAG. I was thankfully recommended to Dr. Young. I called him on a weekend and he took the time to help me diagnose my situation while he was in the middle of family time. I wasn't even a patient. I couldn't believe it. He squeezed me in the next day so he could check out my mouth and to see what was wrong with my second attempt to get a good crown. He asked me what I wanted and gave me all the options. He was realistic and left the choice of what I wanted to do up to me. Well, because I am a perfectionist, I decided I wanted to redo it, again. So, he went over every detail with me about what I liked and didn't like. He was so attentive and went out of his way to make sure I didn't leave with any unanswered questions. Again, he went over EVERY detail with me. Don't take that lightly. I am EXTREMELY inquisitive and kind of a freak, perfectionist when it comes to my teeth. I just went in today and I finally have my tooth put back together. Man, I could have saved that guy a lot of trouble had I just gone to Dr. Young to begin with -- a dentist that cares as much about my mouth as I do. I think everyone can agree that a Dentist is like a hair stylist. You have a bunch of horror stories until you find a great one and then you hold onto them forever. Calling Dr. Young's office a great establishment is an understatement. From the very beginning the entire staff was welcoming and cheerful but in a very genuine way (as if employees were actually happy to come into work!). Janna has helped me through 2 insurance changes and a lost ID and always with a huge smile.
