French Parisian music playing and adorable Van Gogh impressionist interior themed after his famed abstract work The Starry Night. We shared a Strawberry, Banana, & Nutella crepe and drooled over everyone else's savory crepes with fresh mesclun salads. Stopped in at Starry Night Coffee & Crepes and it delivered exactly what you want from a casual, slightly tucked-away spot. I had the Tuscan chicken crepe and my wife went with the French toast--both were very good, flavorful without being overcomplicated. Coffee held up as well; her French Kiss latte in particular gets a strong recommendation. We're not the simplest table (gluten, dairy, tree nuts, Alpha-Gal, diabetes), and the staff handled it confidently. They knew what to flag, what could be adjusted, and made the whole process easy without turning it into a long Q&A session. It's a small space inside, but there's plenty of outdoor seating, which helps a lot when the weather cooperates. While driving through the area, I was hunting for gluten-free spots to stop.. most menus I found were either super expensive or totally plain. Discovering Starry Night was a fantastic surprise. Their menu was flavorful, creative, and incredibly easy to adjust for gluten-free needs. I ordered the gluten-free chicken raspberry crepe. In addition to easy GF adjustment, they were so kind about putting the sauces on the side for me as well. It was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The kids had ham and cheese, my husband got the Western, and every crepe was generously filled and bursting with bold, savory goodness. The ambiance is more like a fast paced place than a sit down restaurant, but the starry night mural and starry wall are a great addition. They were playing an oldies playlist (which I LOVE), creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The service is great and the workers were very kind! The food is delicious and comes out quite fast! We got a Starry Night coffee, Southern Pecan coffee, a strawberry crepe with bananas added, a Nutella crepe, an egg and cheese crepe, a cinnamon roll crepe, a pumpkin roll crepe, and a chicken cordon bleu crepe. I was in town for a friends wedding and was looking for a midday pick me up at a coffee shop. I really wanted to avoid a chain like Starb***s, there are so many bad coffee places around here. This was a great Cary find! The Western + Strawberry crepes we ordered were made fresh and tasty. The only drawback was that the seasoning on the Western was lacking, and the brown sugar that I requested on the Strawberry was lacking also. Were they good? Yes. Could they have been great? Heck yes. The potential is noted and I'd absolutely try it again, asking more specifically for seasoning and extra brown sugar. The affogato and the mocha latte were made to perfection. The crepes here are amazing! We always split 3 between the two of us, the eggs Benedict, the cinnamon bun, and the bananas foster. Food is delicious and comes out fast, and staff is always very nice and friendly. The only potential shortcoming is that the portions are a little bit smaller than what would be ideal, but we always lick our plates clean every time we come here. I feel silly for not trying this place out sooner! How sweet and savory!! Everything is made fresh, the coffee/espresso is pressed at the counter, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed a game of Connect Four while our food was prepped, clean tables and a big Starry Night mural, lots of people coming and going even though it was pouring rain. My poached eggs were a little over cooked but still soft and covered in a lovely hollandaise. A generous serving for $12. It wasn't over done with extra flavors and that's exactly what I was craving. Basically I cleaned my plate so well that I offered to give it back. That cinnamon bun crepe was delicious and stuffed to perfection, I had to try a bite. I'm going to try the stuffed French toast crepe next time! Definitely coming back, unfortunately NOT the next day as I told the staff - my brunch date said they don't like crepes!! What!!!? We grabbed coffee here recently and it was OK. Inside, it was pretty small, with not too much seating available, but there were some tables outside too. There was plenty of parking since it's part of a strip mall, which was nice! I also liked the Starry Night mural on the wall. The flavor of the coffee wasn't bad but it also didn't blow me away. I used to love coming to Coffee & Crepes, but I am beyond disappointed after the recent change in management and complete employee turnover. This place has gone downhill fast. First off, the service is abysmal. The new staff are nice enough but kinda clueless. There was palpable tension in the air, and the older gentleman in charge was rude and inattentive. I must say that the few remaining faces I recognized were very kind and seemed to be trying their best. When we finally got our food, the crepes were a disaster. They used to be light and fluffy, but now they're dense and rubbery. My Banana Nutella crepe was barely warm and had a pitiful amount of Nutella. My friend ordered a savory crepe that was supposed to have fresh veggies, but it looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. And don't get me started on the coffee - it used to be rich and flavorful, but now it's watery and bitter. I'm really sad to see what has happened to Coffee & Crepes... excuse me, I guess it is called "Starry Night" Coffee & Crepes now (even though it's not open past 3 pm -lol). It used to be my favorite spot, but I won't be coming back. Avoid this place until they get their act together. read more

The repainted walls look good. Otherwise the service was very slow to get our order taken but the crepes came out relatively quickly. We got different kinds of crepes which were both changed drastically for the negative since the ownership or management change. The chicken had the texture of a chicken nugget and tasted like deli meat preservatives, neither was hot enough to melt the cheese, the "poached" eggs were rock hard in the middle and had parts with raw whites, the makeup of the filling had an odd ratio, and the crepes themselves were rubbery. Wouldn't recommend any of the food but cannot attest to the quality of the coffee/tea as we didn't have any. read more

I love this place. The crepes are so good, my favorite crepe is the Nutella and the Red Eye coffee is so good, knocks the big corporate coffee house out of the park. My crepe was light and fluffy with just the right amount of Nutella oozing from the sides, YUMMY! I love the new Starry Night mural, an ode to Van Gogh. It adds a lovely creative feel to the room. The wonderful smell of coffee floats in the room. The dining area is always clean, you can tell a lot of pride of ownership shows in how clean they keep everything. The food was terrible, doesn't feel like anything was actually being cooked more so "assembled". I ordered a Caprese crepe, the tomatoes weren't seasoned or sauteed in any way, just a raw diced tomato. The cheese was like bagged shredded mozzarella, wasn't melted in any way. Then some basil sprinkled in. The balsamic was definitely a pre-made glaze, too sweet. I wish they would delve into cooking & spicing up their methods, I feel like it was cold prepared food I'd pack for a kid's lunch, not something I'd pay $10 for in a restaurant.
