    BBJ&M
    Ally F.

Aesthetic: Clean, Millennial coffee shop feel with incredible crepes and breakfasts. My Favorite: The BBJ&M Experience: The crepes and drinks here are amazing. Our waitress with the green glasses was very sweet. The BBJ&M was a standout crepe with bourbon bacon jam, portobello mushrooms, marinated mushrooms, brie, arugula, and tater tots, topped with hurricane eggs, hot honey and goat cheese! I also loved the Purple Rain which was a butterfly pea tea lemonade. My husbands crepe and earl grey latte were also great, but mine was the best! I highly recommend checking it out.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I absolutely love the vibe at PRESS, it is an upscale coffee shop and restaurant that is modern and chic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything we ordered was pituresque with the tables favorite being the country hash crepe. The combination of eggs, bacon, hoop cheese, breakfast potatoes, green onion, avocado, blistered cherry tomatoes, mojo sauce, and sausage gravy make every single bite and experience. If you are getting anything get this. But honestly not sure if you can go wrong with anything here because the berries & cream crepe and the lox & toast were great as well. Make this restaurant next on your list, it is a must!

All the food was superb from Press. The flavors of the dishes I shared with my friend were well balanced and not too overpowering. We ordered two savory and one sweet- the hash brown waffle with mushrooms and balsamic, the bruschetta, and a Nutella crepe with strawberries. The amount of food was sufficient and we both enjoyed all of the flavors that came with the toppings. My qualms with Press are the wait and prices- we had to wait for about 65 minutes today. I wish that we had called ahead and would suggest that others that visit do so as well! Prices are also slightly steep here. It was about $60 after tip and tax for three dishes.

Salted Pistachio Mocha and Pistachio Affogato

Okay so the salted pistachio mocha is one of the best lattes I think I've ever had. It's so good I had it this morning then came back around 5pm to get another. Service here was great. We sat at the bar at the same time as another couple and the bartender did a great job balancing taking care of both of us without either party feeling neglected. Got lunch I got the BBJ&M crepe. Amazing flavor, especially the hot honey. We also had the Southern Style crepe. Savory, rich and again, amazing flavor. The layout of the space was great. Even though it was busy I didn't feel confined in the space. I'll definitely come back the next time I visit Durham.

What can I say. Like many others [[HIGHLIGHT]]the place beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the crepes were to die for. I had the French toast crepe which had cheesecake filling. So decadent. Lots of good with only one bad. The only bad was no drip decaf but I could get a decaf Americano. So even that compensated for the bad. Would love one of these in Maryland.

My colleague treated me to lunch at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I am not sure if this restaurant takes reservations, but we did a walk-in. This was my first visit at this restaurant. They were pretty busy. Seems like a very popular spot for lunch. We waited for maybe 5 to 10 minutes before we were able to get seated and given a menu. I couldn't decide what to order and wasn't quite sure how the crêpes were put together; however, I ordered I believe it was a Down Home breakfast crêpe with fried egg. I thought the egg would be on the inside of the crêpe and did not realize that it was on the outside of the crêpe until I received my order. The crêpe tasted okay but I think I would've enjoyed it more if the egg was on the inside.

Adjacent to the left field side of the stadium where the Durham Bulls play. Modern delivery system. Order on line--food and drinks are brought to you. Nice atmosphere, nice menu, nice staff. There is one in Raleigh that I will try. If your going to a Bulls game or American Tobacco Park check out this Press, you won't be disappointed.

One of the best breakfasts we had in a while. The service can be a little quicker, but nevertheless the food was amazing. The crepes were delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is quite noisy considering the amount of people.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But there are many tables to accommodate and wasn't much of a wait time when we went on a weekend morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is a pain here. Would definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast and they do have other branches in and around the RTP area

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice service delicious food nice place very comfortable very unique very familiar affordable prices.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the service is amazing. Amazing the managers they do an awesome job they always asking if you everything is OK if you everything is good if you need help with something, they doing amazing job. I really recommended this place.

    Cherry kiss mimosa
    Robin W.

I started with the sweet potato old fashioned, which was excellent and definitely on the strong side. For my second drink, I ordered the cherry kiss mimosa and enjoyed that as well. The cocktail program was easily the highlight of my visit. The food, however, didn't quite live up to the drinks. I ordered the carne asada crepe, which was just okay and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. I also ordered a blueberry and lemon curd crepe to go and shared it with my sister. Unfortunately, neither of us found it very enjoyable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a long wait to sit at the bar, but it was around 1:00 pm on a Saturday, so that was understandable.

    Turkey brie crepe
    Amy F.

Adorable place in downtown Durham! I highly suggest putting your name on the waitlist before showing up! Food was beautifully presented and came out as ordered! The hot chocolate was pretty (not as sweet or rich as I like mine) but my son loved it! I had the turkey brie crepe which was tasty. Overall good food but not a place I would frequent. On a side note, inside was very loud with talking and music. Made it really hard to talk to the people I came with.

I have always LOVED this place (what's not to love with crepes?!!). This wk was exceptional! My brother came into town and made me take him there twice (he fell in love with the chicken crepe with coconut curry). Everything we had was perfect!!

    Salmon hash brown waffle
    Hanna W.

cute restaurant that gets VERY busy. We waited at least an hour for our table on a weekend morning. Loved the seasonal lattes available. I tried the banana bread flavor - delicious! The cured salmon was incredible, and I am typically not a fan of cured salmon or lox.

What would a typical wait time be like on Saturday or Sunday at 10:30 or 11am?

It can vary by party size and in general. Sundays are usually a bit longer than Saturday. Depending on party size 30-60 minutes is common

Do they have gluten-free crepes? (I went to a crepe place in WNC that offered GF versions of all their crepes and they were amazing.)

The ambiance is absolutely stunning--warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. I honestly spent half the meal just taking it all in because every detail was beautiful. Now, let's talk about the food... phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe it. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Our brunch came out surprisingly fast without sacrificing quality, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure guests had a great experience. You could tell there was pride in both the food and the hospitality. If you're anywhere near Durham, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're stopping in for coffee and a pastry, grabbing a sandwich, or sitting down for brunch, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back, and this has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Five stars isn't enough--this place deserves 100.

By the time I was able to waive down the waiter , the table was finished eating and they brought out my meal 25-30 min after the fact. I was hopeful that management would own the mistake, but when my bill came nothing was comped. I had to raise my concern with a waitress and she got a manager. Frankly I am disappointed all around by the experience. "Worse birthday ever" was stated a few times by the birthday girl so idk if I'll be coming back. If I'm going to spend $200 on a meal I at least want to eat.

Our breakfast ended up coming out before coffee, which made no sense. I had to ask about the coffees before they were actually made. When the girl came from morning ritual She brought out my husbands, hot cappuccino but my mocha out iced and I immediately said I don't drink cold coffee and I did an order iced. Instead of being apologetic, and stating that she would change it, she just snatched the iced coffee and walked away. That was such a strange encounter. It was rude and I got no apology, nor did I get any explanation of what would happen next. I let my server know to ensure I was still going to get a coffee because I can't live without my coffee in the morning! When my Moca loved her honey, oat milk, coffee came I took a sip and was glad i didn't flip out and say "forget the coffee" (as I was already done with breakfast by the time in arrived) because the drink was delicious! If I'm ever back in the area (I was staying in Raleigh but decided to take a little detour into Durham that morning) I'll come to only Morning Ritual to see if I can change this 3 star review for service issues into a 5. For now they need to work on getting coffee service to The Goat streamlined!
