We stopped in after searching for a local coffee shop - love the area and loved our drinks! The medium roast and latte we got had great flavor and was the perfect temperature. The two lemonade refreshers were also delish. The service was quick, and the shop was the perfect level of noise and hub-bub to get work done too! We will likely be back tomorrow!

I came here today for a latte. Relaxed vibe, friendly employees. It was rainy and cold outside so it was kind of crowded but on a sunny day outside seating would be nice. It did seem like a good place to work...easily accessible wifi.

Stopped in for coffee to check it out. It was about noon, not busy, but the menu just did not appeal to me much. I got an iced honey lavender latte. It was not cold enough for me, but flavor was good. I can't say how the food was because from the choices I saw, nothing appealed a whole lot to me. I did notice and avocado toast after I'd ordered so I may go back for a hot drink and that to update this review. But at this point I can only give it 3 stars. They do have a nice sitting area and WiFi so a good spot to work for breakfast or mid morning snack. I did find the person who took my order felt awkward, and she didn't even speak to me until I spoke to her. The person who gave me my drink was far friendlier. I won't let this experience be my end all, I will give another chance, but was a bit disappointed after reading a lot of other reviews about how great it was because that was not my experience.

    vanilla hojicha latte (no coffee)

I was gonna give this place 4 stars before I tried to hojicha drink because the hot coco was good but pretty basic. This one totally take the cake, it's a house made syrup and perfectly steamed I mean look at that latte art. They have plenty of tables AND lots of outlets yay! They also play relaxing music inside. It's not a very noisy joint. Aside from this, the sparkling water bottle is $4.60, the priced are high. It's a hit or miss depending on what's worth the price tag.

Went in and got a chai latte with their housemate vanilla bean syrup. It was super good. I wish i got the bigger size! Highly recommend. The staff was friendly and quick. The coffee shop itself was quiet even with folks in there.

    Seasonal drink: banana matcha latte!

I was in the area and stumbled upon this adorable coffee shop! Conveniently located right next to the Cary Downtown Library and just steps from Cary Downtown Park, Coffee Studio provides a clean and bright space that could be perfect for a quick coffee, a casual meeting, or catching up with friends. I tried their seasonal banana matcha and was pleased by its well-balanced flavor (just the right amount of sweetness). The staff were friendly, and my drink came out fairly quickly. There are a decent amount of seating at the front, and I grabbed a seat in the back where it was quieter. The interior is simple, but on a sunny afternoon it has a charm of its own with the calm music playing in the background. Free parking next door is a great bonus. I'd recommend this place and would definitely return to try more drinks the next time I'm in the area!

This is a cute cafe near the Downtown Cary Park. Randomly came across here and stopped by for some hot cocoa. Service was friendly and there are plenty of spaces to sit. For the price I would've expected my cup to be larger though.

Don't judge this coffee shop by its size. It is small, but the beverages pack a punch. Perfect place to stop in for a quick beverage if you're at the Downtown Cary Park or visiting the Cary Regional Library nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed my spicy chai latte. Super friendly staff made my visit very pleasant. There is indoor seating near the entrance and the baristas' serving area, but there is also more seating at the back of the studio. There are also a couple of tables outdoors for seating near the sidewalk. I would visit here again.

Good coffee, cute space, and the service was good. Got the brown sugar and added cinnamon to my latte and would recommend it.

Stopped here before heading to downtown cary park and it was the perfect spot to grab a drink. I got their seasonal drink of a hot toasted marshmallow hojicha which was a perfect fall drink. The hojicha taste came through perfectly. My husband ordered an iced strawberry matcha latte and that was also so good! There was lots of searing inside and had 2 small tables outside. There were also paninis and a case with pastries in them as well. This spot also is also walking distance to Cary park !

Nice place for coffee and baked goods. Right next to Downtown Cary Park. I ordered a latte with oat milk because coconut milk is not available. There are a couple of bistro tables and chairs outside and it was busy inside the shop on a Monday morning.

I tried the peach cobbler latte; one word: AMAZING! I am happy to say it was worth the drive. I was greeted as soon as I opened the door and the music was great and at a balanced volume for enjoyment and/or productivity!

It's located alongside the leasing office for the apartment complex. The service is great. There were two young ladies working and they were both friendly. I arrived around 4:30 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and ordered a muffin and a decaf latte since it was so late (for me to drink caffeine). The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I sat on a small section of a very comfortable couch with pillows and all. I later sat out front on one of the benches. They also have a patio seating out back. This particular morning, I knew I wanted to stop by Trader Joe's afterward, but they weren't open yet. So I pulled up the map looking for a coffee shop where I could get a little coworking done. Thousand Hills Coffee popped up, and it had been on my "need to try" list for a while. I also shot my buddy KH a quick text to see if he wanted to join me and catch up on our latest ultra running training shenanigans. Thankfully, he was game. I rolled in around 8:30 a.m. and managed to grab a decent parking spot. Worth mentioning because the coffee shop shares parking with the apartment complex next door, so I imagine spaces can disappear quickly. KW arrived a few minutes before me and had to park a bit farther away. Walking inside, I immediately liked the vibe. It feels modern but still cozy, almost like someone's really well-designed living room. There are several distinct seating areas, plenty of soft chairs, a long community table, and even bar seating overlooking the baristas. It struck a nice balance between coffee shop and comfortable workspace. Since I'd already knocked out my morning run, I was ready for a little breakfast. KH and I both ordered the cheese, Danish. It looked huge in the display case, though it shrank a bit once it made it onto the plate. That said, it was really flavorful and definitely worth ordering. I also grabbed a regular drip coffee, which was excellent. My timing was amusing because they had just finished the last pot and were brewing a fresh one, but honestly, getting a fresh cup probably worked out for the best. We grabbed chairs next to the long community table instead at the table since the morning sun was already heating things up. We spent a while catching up, talking running, races, and all the usual endurance athlete nonsense. After KH headed out, I relocated to the long table that was in the shade and spent another hour or so catching up on emails and getting a little work done. It turned out to be a great co-working spot with plenty of room to spread out without feeling like you were taking up space. One last shoutout to the staff, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Good coffee is one thing, but great people always make the experience better. Overall, I came away impressed. Somehow, they've been open for about two years, and I'm honestly not sure how they managed to stay off my radar for so long. Safe to say they'll be making it into my regular rotation whenever I need a good cup of coffee and a comfortable place to get some work done.

Overall, the little coffee shop is cute and has a little bit of outdoor seating which I liked but is expensive for being so mid in my opinion. I ended up paying almost $7 for a blueberry latte. Overall, my latte tasted like a regular latte, even though it did have a seasonal blueberry syrup added to it. I know that blueberry is very light in flavor compared to coffee so I asked for more than the allotted amount of syrup and their response was that they had a certain amount added to of syrups added. So I said ok thinking they would take that into consideration but when I got my coffee, guess the amount they added didn't matter because it tasted the same as a latte regular. Unfortunately, at the end of my coffee (like the last 20%) had what I assume to be bits of berry in it? The texture made me toss the remaining amount. With the high prices and the location right on a busy street / no parking I probably wouldn't be back but I did enjoy being about to sit outside under an umbrella and the service was nice / fast. All the stars would go to the servers and overall cleanliness honestly.

Iris isn't trying to be trendy: it is unapologetically devoted to the craft. The interior reflects that philosophy. A restrained palette of white, charcoal, and soft gray keeps distractions to a minimum, allowing every cup to remain the focal point. It's clean, modern, and intentionally understated. If you're someone who typically reaches for cream and sugar, I'd encourage you to order at least one cup black. Iris sources and roasts exceptional coffee, and tasting it without distractions is the best way to appreciate the nuance and balance that have earned the café such a devoted following. That said, the seasonal menu is every bit as thoughtful. On this visit, I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte, a drink layered with tropical sweetness, creamy matcha, and just enough complexity to keep each sip interesting. The final few sips, where all of the flavors settled together, were unexpectedly my favorite part. My brother-in-law chose Iris's signature blueberry-forward latte, while my niece ordered the house-made chai. Before she'd even finished half the cup, she looked up and declared, "This is the best chai I've ever had." Her father, after trying it himself, agreed without hesitation. The breakfast menu compliments the beverage program well, offering thoughtfully prepared dishes that feel every bit as intentional as the drinks. Like many destination coffee shops, Iris tends to attract people who settle in for a while. Laptops are open across nearly every table, conversations are minimal, and the room has the focused energy of a shared studio rather than a bustling café. Because of the open design, voices travel easily, making it a better place for quiet work than lively catch-ups. The café is meticulously maintained, including spotless restrooms that reflect the same attention to detail found throughout the space. In a city with no shortage of coffee shops, Iris has carved out a distinct identity by putting craftsmanship ahead of trends, creating a destination that's as much about curiosity as it is about caffeine.
