One of my fav crepe places in Raleigh! My husbands first time experiencing a savory crepe he generally sticks to his Nutella nanaberry ones. We got the Thai curry crepe with chicken, cordon bleu crepe and a side poutine. The Thai curry crepe was the star of the meal, so flavorful chicken cooked perfectly with the crispy wontons chips for the perfect crunch. The poutine also was yum super crispy potatoes with ample gravy and cheese for each bite! Was wondering how the cordon bleu would be served, it's a whole deep fried crepe which was a tad bit salty just like the server said it would be idk why they wouldn't fix it if she was aware of it too, it felt a little dry but she did bring us extra Alfredo sauce for it when we mentioned it. Loved the vibe of the place, there's ample seating options, dining area/ bar/ as well as outdoor. While there is limited parking we found a spot since it was a weekday afternoon. Def will be back to try their drinks menu and brunch items.

My wife and I recently tried this restaurant when we were in Raleigh and it was just fabulous. The hostess seated us very quickly and within a matter of moments water was on the table and orders were being taken. Service was outstanding. I really liked the setup of the restaurant decorations and creative ambiance of France. The real star of the show is the food. I had the Cuban sandwich with the plantains which were fried to perfection. And I had a slice of French toast which is one of the best French toasts I've ever had. Crunchy and moist with real maple syrup. This was a wonderful experience and next time I'm in Raleigh I will be sure to go back to enjoy another culinary delectable.

The Nutella strawberry crepe was delicious, not too sweet, not too plain. The crepe was soft. I was expecting it to be a heavy dessert, however it was surprisingly light. The waitress was very attentive and kind. Overall a nice relaxed restaurant.

We really enjoyed simply crepes, no complaints. We were lucky to visit on a warm day and sit on the patio together. The drinks were fun and colorful. Especially my mimosa flight (half off on Fridays) we split the Chicken Tarragon Crepe and the Banana Foster and a side of crispy potatoes.

My first time at simply crepes - I was really craving a breakfast crepe and I don't visit Lafayette Village nearly as often even though it's so convenient in North Raleigh. Tons of good parking in this area but it is busy basically all the time. I started with the iced shaken espresso latte which was pretty good. Then we got the beignets, which oh my gosh, these are the best beignets I've had outside of New Orleans. Well worth $10. I was debating between the crepe Madam (like a Croque madam) and the huevos rancheros. I ended up going with the huevos rancheros even though I was skeptical of the pork. I was pleasantly surprised! The pork was seasoned well. Personally, I would not have minded if it was a little spicy but I get needing to appeal to all palettes. I will definitely try the crepe madam next time. We sat outside, which was nice, and our server was very attentive. Overall, around $35 for an iced coffee, half an app, and a hearty breakfast crepe, which I think is extremely reasonable for Raleigh.

! Tried something else other than the crepes . It was actually good ! Had an ice Carmel coffee only thing it kinda tasted like water and Carmel syrup and everything is kinda overpriced but overall it's great!

To start, we went on a Monday morning around 8:30 am. There was literally no one here and they took a while to seat us because we couldn't find anyone working. After being seated, everything was great with our server. Sadly we both wanted the breakfast sandwich and were told they did not have any toast and couldn't serve it. We ended up getting the breakfast crepe instead and it was really good. A little thick with the crepe material but really tasty. Overall, the experience was decent and I give this place a 2/5 stars.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival. I was surprised by how empty the restaurant was at lunchtime on a Wednesday. There was approximately five tables occupied: we ordered and our drinks came in a reasonable amount of time. My Bloody Mary was delicious as was my friends mojito flight. After a very long wait we got our mains. I touched my potatoes and they were room temperature. After I did that my friend thought it was because our food was sitting on the counter for a long time before we were served. Then I cut into my burger before the waiter left and my burger had too much pink for it to be medium well. She took back my meal to make another one. After a long wait I got my meal, it was perfectly hot and cooked to my liking. It was delicious. My only comment would be there was a drop of aioli on the bun, I would have liked more on the burger or perhaps a ramekin on the side. Either there was not enough servers or the kitchen was backed up. This was not how it was in the many times I came here in the past.

I hadn't been here in so long it seemed but I decided to drive from Durham on an unexpected day off on a weekday morning. I simply asked for my sweet crepe to not be cold and you would have thought I asked for a ribeye steak. The 3 cooks in the open kitchen gathered to discuss how "she" wants a warm crepe and how it doesn't make sense. These 3 cooks spent 5 minutes coming up with a game plan. Now I've made the exact order over the past 9 years and it's never been an issue. It's certainly not worth the drive anymore. When I've come on the weekend, it's been insane. I'm happy you have a thriving business but the tall young man who stands in the front doesn't acknowledge customers and will walk by customers like we're not standing there when it's obvious people are trying to get their names on the list.

Egg and ham omelette. I highly recommend it.

Easy parking, great place for brunch. Service is good. The ambiance is great and their dishes were great! Loved the egg an ham crepe! Very good mimosas and coffee. They can improve their checkin. Even when we were called to be seated, we had to keep waiting. It was chaos on their entrance.

The reviews were glowing, and repeatedly warned about the wait, that my expectations were probably set too high going in. I got the steak and eggs crepe and added avocado, extra steak, and kale. The eggs sit on top, and mine came closer to over-hard than the over-medium I asked for -possibly from sitting in the to-go box for 15 minutes, so I'll give some benefit of the doubt there. The crepe itself was tasty, and honestly I'd come back to try something off the sweets menu. But the fillings didn't land. The steak was a little chewy, and the mushrooms were cut too thick for a crepe -- they made it hard to cut cleanly and felt out of place. The add-ons I'll leave alone since those were my call. Overall the dish felt fairly run-of-the-mill against the hype. One note: this might be a dish better served by not allowing customizations, to keep it consistent to its intent. What threw me is that "steak and eggs" is the menu item, yet they also offer a carne asada crepe with no eggs ...so the only real difference is eggs placed on top, which doesn't change the crepe itself. Felt clear as mud after unboxing my meal. The latte I got was standard. Nothing wrong with it, nothing memorable. TL:DR this read as a solid fallback breakfast more than the must-try the reviews promised. The dogs I saw at the outside tables kept this closer to a 3.5 than falling on the other side of 3.

Although it's located in downtown Raleigh, it was easy to find and get to from the interstate. Parking was easy, with a paid public lot conveniently located up the block behind the building. Inside, the food hall had a lively atmosphere with dozens of vendors offering a wide variety of cuisines, making it easy for everyone in our group to find something they wanted. Despite the number of people, none of the lines were particularly long. There was plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, so finding a place to eat wasn't difficult. I also appreciated that they provided a self-serve water station with ice-cold water and cups for anyone who didn't want to purchase a drink from one of the vendors. There was also a proper bar with both a bartender and barstool seating if you wanted to pull up a stool and enjoy a beverage. The entire facility was clean and well maintained, including the restrooms, which were well stocked during our visit. The outdoor patio was especially nice, with a mix of shaded and sunny seating areas. While we were there, a local dog rescue was hosting an adoption event where visitors could meet puppies. It was fun to see families, kids, and adults enjoying the event, and the dog-friendly patio made the atmosphere even more welcoming. If you're visiting Raleigh with a group or simply can't decide what you're in the mood to eat, Morgan Street Food Hall is an excellent option thanks to its variety, clean facilities, and inviting atmosphere.

However, if you need to eat gluten-free due to a medical condition like Celiac disease, please be very, very cautious. Although this establishment claims to offer gluten-free options, there seems to be a concerning lack of understanding of what "gluten-free" actually requires. I asked detailed questions before ordering and was assured that my selection was safe. After the food arrived--and after I had already started eating--I was then informed that while the crepe itself was gluten-free, the filling was not. That kind of distinction should be clearly communicated upfront, especially when a customer specifically asks about gluten-free options. Unfortunately, the same situation happened with my daughter, who also has celiac. To make matters worse, we were charged for both the incorrect meals and the replacements. In hindsight, I should have asked for a manager, but we were there to visit with a friend and I didn't want to make a scene. Our total for three people ended up being over $80 with the tip I still left. I understand that eating out always carries risk when you have dietary restrictions, and I ALWAYS try to approach it with patience and kindness. We were traveling, so we didn't have much choice. But if a restaurant says they offer gluten-free items, there needs to be a basic understanding (by the wait staff AND the kitchen cooks) of ingredients and clear communication. What should have been a fun outing turned into a weekend of being very sick. Just something to be aware of if you have to eat gluten-free for health reasons - this is probably not the spot for you.

It's not good, either, but it's exceedingly average. In terms of the definitive ranking of coffee on the plaza, Joe Van Gogh is a clear first, followed by here, and then a close third is ABP. Unfortunately, the service here is perhaps the worst on campus. Now I don't like to be rude - although I might have a penchant for the dramatic - but it's truly unbearable. They have two registers, so it's a guessing game as to which will serve you first. Then, you have to wait to be served. I have waited at the register for over 2-3 minutes, repeatedly trying to make eye contact with anyone who is working there, only to continue to be ignored, with not even a slight recognition that, in fact, they did see me and are going to serve me when they are ready. I have been asked to go to the other register, only to have the person directly behind me be served immediately, and I have had to actually leave the Café because it had been so long without service. Honestly, if you can, go to Joe Van Gogh, and if it's closed, save yourself the headache and go to ABP - the quality might be a little worse, but at least you'll be served.
