The value at Ollie's is great. We didn't have a ton of time to shop but we nabbed an A&M garden flag for $6.99 and a big bag of Brownie Brittle for $5.99. (Now I will note that we have been "burned" by food at Ollie's in the past -not this particular location- when we bought some mint patties which were infested with bugs. So yes we are "nervous" buying food here but I think that if they are well packaged, that shouldn't normally be a problem.) Now for the service. Wow. Aimee was our cashier and was FABULOUS. She was so friendly and helpful. She got us signed up for Ollie's rewards and explained everything so thoroughly. I honestly don't know why we didn't sign up before. I found these comments extremely ignorant and unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend selling here and hope that they further train their staff on professionalism. This is my childhood Walmart and it has kept up over the last several decades. The reason for this…read morereview is mostly to get kudos to Mark T. in automotive as he went above and beyond to make my New Year's Eve less of a nightmare. My battery corroded pretty bad and after 5 hours of trying to fix a dead battery, I took my irritable self to Walmart Auto Care. Outside waiting for a scheduled customer was Mark and he had this chill vibe about him. I brought the battery in and he quickly helped me replace it. He let me know it was under warranty for another year. I had other shopping to do so I asked him if I could leave the battery and grab the couple of items. When I got back he said he had looked for me a cart for transport and I appreciated the gesture. He helped me carry my items to my car -- above and beyond, truly. Otherwise, this Walmart remains the same. Too much bread/dessert made and wasted, fruit and vegetables either cheap and great or absolutely ridiculous, a crowded cosmetics department, and overworked employees.

Even their regular prices are not bad at all. I stopped in to this location for the first time and it did not disappoint! They had art work 50%, great Easter decorations and great garden stuff. Also, 70% off selection shampoo, conditioner and other beauty products. Some were $1.50, $1.20 and one was .45!!! My daughter had me buy some for her. You cannot pass up a deal like that. The staff here were super friendly. The manager was so kind and polite. I bought 2 great planters for my front porch. I will share the photo after I plant flowers in them.
