In the other camps, my niece got to know one or two counselors really quickly and bondedwith them and would talk nonstop about them. In this camp, it was babysitting, not a 'camp' feeling and the employees sort of hung out watching the kids but not participating or engaging the kids. They did not appear to have the maturity or job training that I've seen at other camps. On the good side, they played a lot of games outdoors and it included swimming at the Community Center. And, the price is right. I guess it's still a much needed inexpensive babysitting option for working parents.

It should also be noted that the majority of participants were girls, and the activities probably reflected this. This was definitely not a great fit for my boy.

The learning pods concept was new to our family but the staff did an excellent job caring for our child. I really appreciated that the staff took time to get to know my child, which was importatnt to me. The teachers were able to encourage my child to learn by incorporating games/playing in the learning process. The facility has great learning materials to help my child learn and stay engaged, i.e. sight words, math, reading books, etc. Lastly, being a new mom to a child who just entered grade school, Ms. Swati was very supportive and engaging on my journey. Ms. Yaoyao has a wonderful way of keeping young learners engaged. My kid has so much fun with the active singing, scales, and song-playing activities she integrates into the class. Getting a young child to practice consistently can be a struggle, but Ms. Yaoyao's constant encouragement and patience have made all the difference. Thanks to her, he has made incredible progress over the past 18 months! Beyond the fantastic teaching, the studio itself is top-notch. They offer classes for a variety of instruments in both 1:1 and group settings to fit different learning styles. We were amazed by how much he learned in just one week morning program! More importantly, he had a great time there.
