My 5 year old son enjoyed over 6 weeks of summer camp at Falcon Learning. There were different themes each week during camp including a field trip to Golfland. The staff, teachers, students and owners are extremely welcoming, kind and accommodating to the children and their parents. The center is full of learning materials and engaging activities for the kids. My son developed an interest in playing chess with others while at Falcon Learning. In addition, children from different ages interact and learn from one another positively in an environment closely supervised by teachers. The center can accommodate to a student's needs by offering, for example, additional math enrichment classes as well as having a Spanish-speaking staff member available if the student has Spanish homework. All in all, the facility is clean, comfortable and a wonderful environment to learning and having fun with other children. read more

I lucked out when I found Falcon Learning. I needed an after-school program which would be able to pick up my son from Zanker Elementary with a style that fit my needs and his. Falcon Learning turned out to be a perfect fit, and they had openings! The center is simple and neat, with muted green walls. There's a reading area, tables for snack or homework, and a game area. When I arrive, the kids are always playing cooperatively, are busy with a game or are coloring quietly. Falcon is also open later than other after school programs, which helps me greatly since I commute to work on the peninsula and can sometimes arrive as late as 6:30 on my commute back home. My son almost always has his weekly homework completed on the first day that it is brought home. He is always happy and content about his time at Falcon Learning. He started doing one of the extra math classes which were offered, but decided he'd rather play during the after-school time instead of doing the extra math. I told this to the Sonia, the assistant director, and there was zero hassle to remove him from that program. I've often emailed schedule changes at the last minute if my son doesn't need to be picked up from school, and Sonia responds immediately that she has received my message and is always super polite. Only additional feedback I'd give is that it'd be nice to pay online, but setting up my bank's bill pay to send automatic checks has also worked fine. I cannot say enough about Falcon Learning - we live in Newark, and my children attended the summer program in 2014 when I was working in Milpitas. Both my boys loved attending this program. My youngest son was so well prepared for the 1st grade after attending this summer program, that he was bored when school started! My older son was able to learn how to play chess, and explore his creative side - not to mention develop an accelerated reading level. Our boys (5) and (7) loved Falcon Learning summer camp. They had a wonderful time using both their intellectual as well as their creative side. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the kids all seem really excited to be there. We'll probably try their after school program next year if we find it helpful. When my daughter went to kindergarten last year I was looking for an after school program which had pick up option, clean environment ,good after school activities and caring for kids. Falcon is the only program in Milpitas which had all these and more. The management is very responsive and accommodative to the kids and parents needs. Ms. Sonia is very good in responding to all my queries and taking care of any concerns. The teachers are very knowledgeable.They are open for longer hours and also have good camp options for school holidays which is very convenient when both parents have tight schedules. They have math, Bollywood dance, reading and other activities which are very good. Falcon center is a spacious , well designed facility filled with a multitude of activities/ options to aid free play and learning through play. I love that this is a facility unlike many that we saw for our playful , energetic first grader . We were looking for a place that allows him to expend his energy, meet his desire to play with peers and have the opportunity for learning through hands-on art/creative projects. I sent my first child to kindergarten August 2015 and needed after school care. I was very skeptical at first not because I doubted Falcon but because I had to trust a stranger to pick up and drop off my son. My husband and I looked around couple of places, then we chose Falcon. We met the owner and she seemed very caring and experienced. My 5 year old son has been loving it ever since. He made friends and he looks forward to the next day. Falcon is packed with programs. They don't let kids stay bored or idled. The director is very accommodating and communicates well. My 3 year old daughter will attend kindergarten in 2017. We are planning on sending her to Falcon. We used Falcon Learning for my child that needed some socialization opportunities. The other students were eager to be his friend. We appreciated that. I loved visiting the Falcon learning center. The place is nice and with a lot of room for kids. I could see a library corner, 2 computers and ping pong table. Walls are covered with kids projects and the schedule for future events, such as yoga also looked busy. Lots of things to do and stuff to play with and learn. My almost 5 year old boy is attending Spring Break Camp at Falcon Learning this week. He is having a good time learning about holiday traditions and gardening. My niece had been attending the after school program since September 2014. Their facility is very clean, atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. She is also taking an English class which is helping her a lot with reading and writing. She comes home and all of her homework are finished, giving us more quality time at home. She always comes home with small projects, which she enjoys very much. She gets along with all the kids and it's nice to know that she has a place where there are kids she can call friends.
