From beginning to end he was on top of his game. He spoke to me in laymens terms and answered any questions I had. I would recommend him to anyone. My stay in Nyack was as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances. The nurses and staff were great. When I needed them they were there. I was on Doctors 5. One nurse in particular was great. Unfortunately I only know her as Jen. Thank you all for making a difficult time as peaceful as it could be.

They also get mad at you when you click the help button after 3 hours of no medication and constant pain. You're more of a burden to them than a patient. Go anywhere else, honestly surprised no one has sued or filled a hippa report on this place. Oh and you will be waiting in a hallway for 4 hours before getting into a room to be treated so just be warned!

Desk personnel were on the phone or not greeting patients. Phlebotomists were not good drawing blood. I hope this health care setting will improve soon.

Angels in disguise…read more I have been sick for more than a week and finally went to the ER. Was treated HORRIBLY at the NYACK HOSPITAL ER. So I went to Best Care today and was immediately treated with respect and courtesy. Got in w/ barely a wait and was treated and on my way. The staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating, especially for someone who doesn't have insurance. As you know, sometimes we are looked down upon or certain Dr.'s don't work with you on payment methods. They made sure there was a way for me to get seen and taken care of - you can tell they really care about what they do. The Doctor even gave me a LIST of what to do and not to do to get better instead of just reciting some 'do this don't do that blah blah blah' routine and sending me on my way. I will definitely be making this my new primary place for Doctor's visits. Whether minor emergency or general physical, I HIGHLY recommend them!

Nurse Annemarie Giardino was an actual angel who made me feel comfortable and relaxed & put an IV in my very tiny vein like it was nothing. She talked me through everything and got me water and blankets to make me comfortable and was easily the best nurse I've ever had. Dr. Alejandro was equally amazing and wasn't dismissive or curt and made sure to make himself available to me and check on me as much as he could. I have never had a better experience in a hospital, especially an ER. These two are incredible and deserve all of the recognition and praise in the world. I could not have had a better experience and I will remember it forever.

I took her to Montefiore hospital in the Bronx where they immediately admitted her for status asthmaticus ..my daughter spent a week in ICU... nyack hospital almost killed my daughter but thank God Montefiore in the Bronx saved her.

Not only wasn't it ready, but again was promised Monday night. I called Wednesday as I still haven't heard from them. Even no t for the kind people at the endoscopy center I went too, I would have done a costly and uncomfortable bowel prep for nothing. When I called the manager, George, rather than being apologetic, he became indignant and blamed everything on the lab, even though he had the result Monday night. I remember I had a problem which I don't care to repeat and the cream I got said specifically on the cream not to be used for the condition I had. The doctor refused to get on the phone with me. So there you are. This is where many people go that don't have a whole bunch of money to spend on medical care. They take Medicaid but since they're stripping Medicaid away from 70 million Americans, I guess we should be grateful for even this lousy care. About 20 years ago I went and met a wonderful doctor from India. She told me she was into missionary medicine. In other words she chose not to be a millionaire with her degree and just wanted to help people. Just don't have the energy to wait 3 1/2 or four hours to see a doctor anymore . Don't have the stamina. I can't remember her name but she was fantastic and I don't even know she works there anymore. I also got bifocals and I have to break my neck to use them. Ridiculous. Welcome to America people. If you're not rich and you don't have a whole bunch of money to spend on medical care this is the treatment you're going to get. Even if you do have health insurance you might get treated terribly anywhere . I can't believe what we both been through in the last decade. It's just been a horror show all around. For example in Caremount they let us run around with extremely high blood pressure until another doctor sent us to the hospital on a gurney. The hospital was northern Westchester which I had been going to since I was a kid. Seems there have been no upgrades since I was a child and that was not yesterday. tons of people running around, and they then they think you're crazy when you tell them you can't see at night because you have cataracts. So it took half an hour for them to release me and they all thought I was nuts but I ended up driving home fairly blind anyway. It was terrifying. I think it's logical not to want to drive half blind. Apparently they just thought I was nuts. I have left my car at the doctor that insisted I go by ambulance to this hospital and no they did not give me any blood pressure medication. I had to wait until the next day after everyone was screaming heart attack and stroke level blood pressure and finally get about half the medication I needed. Unbelievable.

Two stars are are too much. While the mission is admirable, they don't have enough staff to service…read morethe number of patients at each location. They try to be single point of access but can't. Urgent care can take days to access. People are sent home. Patients can't see their doctor post surgery for weeks after discharge. The patient portal set up is sub par for communicating and you cannot access every provider. I hope they merge with someone that can help them expand and grow properly. There are a few medical organizations in the area that may be a good fit.
