If Ben Buffery is still with this company, don't walk but run as fast as you can to get away from him. Two years ago he put in a whole house generator for me but in the process put a hole in my wall FROM THE OUTSIDE. He said he would fix it but never did after being asked many times. Then he told me to get someone to fix it and he would pay for it. The hole was small, but I had about a 6-inch hole where the plaster fell off. I finally got someone to fix it last April. I sent him the bill and he said he would pay it but never did. I had a problem with my generator recently and he said he would fix it but he never showed up. I had to hire another company and luckily, with all the power outages, they fixed it. He is arrogant, dishonest and rude. Pure evil. read more

Overall, State Mechanical and Electrical did an outstanding job planning out our generator upgrade, installing the equipment, making the connections, and checking out the operation of the system to make sure everything was done correctly. The State personnel (Ben and Vincente) overcame several problems to get the job done smoothly and effectively. Also, the project was completed for a very fair price. One week after the installation was completed, we had an 8-hour power outage, and our new generator started up and took over the electrical load as designed.
