    I don't recall the who helped me the first two times I visited but It's Cody who gets the shout out…read moretoday. I first used these guy's in 2015 for an automatic gate battery, which has worked flawlessly since. I was real happy with the knowledge to determine my needs and the selection gave me enough options. The second time, 2016, was to replace a shattered tablet screen. It seemed to be in good condition after the repair but it came loose a day later. The staff was very apologetic when I returned and they addressed it immediately. It's as good as new for well over a year. Great customer service and stellar repair. Today my wife's car battery died. We jumped it and my wife brought it down to Cody. Apparently he did a diagnostic on the alternator to rule it out and fortunately it was just the battery (as we hoped.) Cody then replaced it and it has resolved the issues. I highly recommend them.

They never answer the phone, return voice messages, or answer email messages. When someone finally answered the phone today I almost died of shock. But he might as well not have answered, because the result was the same as talking to a brick wall. "Hi, has the part i ordered come in yet?" "I don't know, my manager and tech person are not here today." "Okay, can you go check yourself?" "No I don't have access to email." "Okay can you go look in the back on the shelves?" "No. And I don't see anything" "Okay it doesn't seem like you even looked very hard. Can you please tell me if the item is even coming at all? Ever? Because if it's not I need to go to another store so ..... " "No, i have no way of knowing that" Wow. Why even answer the phone if the answer is always going to be "I don't know"? I guess that explains why they haven't answered their phone in over a month. Got a question? They don't know the answer!

They also refund a core charge for old batteries, even if you didn't buy them there (this may be state-mandated, but O'Reilly's doesn't balk at accepting them). In the past they tell me some jerks would take advantage of that service by including stuff that can't be recycled, ruining the entire vat, so they make a reasonable effort to avoid that. It seems Amazon & big box stores may have made the prices at O'Reilly's (& other brick-&-mortar stores) more competitive in recent years.

The battery in our vehicle was dead at a crucial point of our vacation. But they had the type of battery we needed, so I was happy and thankful for that! Joe K, however, was pretty positive that his present battery was somewhat new and wondered why it lost it's power that quickly. Brandon was the clerk who helped us out. He was nice and helpful giving all the information needed for replacing a battery and returning the used battery for recycle/disposal. Unfortunately, we had a friend drive us to the store, so our vehicle wasn't present for the exchange. Joe requested if it was possible to look up his information and see if his previous battery warranty was still good, but Brandon didn't seem to know how to look him up. So the purchase had to proceed no matter what. Even though this delayed our vacation schedule, things worked out well enough to continue our next destination to Monterey, and then the return back home. Just glad we had an easy fix, and that Sacramento has an O'Reilly's Auto Parts store conveniently close to our house! The mystery of the dead battery will have to be investigated there......

    I've been to this store 3 times in 9 days. I was only able to make a purchase once. I was able to…read morefind the coolant and blue def on my own, it took a minute for the cashier to walk away from his phone to help with finding $70+ windshield wipers. The other 2 times they couldn't be bothered. I saw the same behavior with other customers that came in. I have shopped at all O'Reilly's for decades. I will not go back to this one and I am considering returning the unused products that I have.

I inquired about it and was rudely told " dont worry about it"... i politely questioned again if someone was using my phone number at thier place of business. And before i could finish my sentence, Miguel rolled his eyes and shook his head and said in a condescending tone "stop worrying,... it's not important to you" And he turned his back and walked away but let me see that he was rolling his eyes once more. I asked " wait...im concerned someone could be using my profile." I was ignored. Cinfused, I looked at the other man behind the counter but he would not look at me..     18 months! That was how long it took to recover my Nissan Leaf from the shop. They were supposed…read moreto replace the main battery to extend its chargeable range, a 1-week project. After 3 months the EV was returned but had a range less than half of what was promised. In less than 2 months the motor died on the freeway and the car had to be towed back to the shop. After many more months of excuses and promises that I would be "next in line" I sued the shop. The court ordered the return of my car which had been towed to an undisclosed location. I was also awarded a full refund and additional monetary loss-of-use damages. But before I could recover my car, Adam disabled the car and reprogrammed its computer. I don't know what is worse, the incompetence, dishonesty, or maliciousness.

This shop has great customer service from the front desk lady to the owner who I think is the technician/mechanic. Besides having great customer service, they both are very knowledgeable of hybrids. They provided 3 options with the cost and warranty for each. Reasonable prices. I don't have a Prius or a hybrid but if I ever own one, I will come here or send anyone in need of battery help here for sure. To top it off, this shop also seems very trustworthy. Bookmarking this for future reference.

    This is a delayed review for work finished in February 2021. Now that I'm looking for an…read moreelectrician to replace a sub panel, I'm realizing how valuable honest reviews are. The theme here is going be The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. The good: the guy who evaluated the job was professional and friendly, and then the guy leading the two-man actual work fairly reeked of competence. They did a fantastic, clean-looking job (though they did leave screws and various detritus laying around the area, as almost everyone seems to do these days. No one cleans up conscientiously any more). I'm 100% satisfied with the quality of the new, up-to-date main panel. The bad. I had this work done when I was off on vacation in Baja. As I always do, and have done for a dozen years, I drained my portable electric-run hot tub before leaving. This time, however, I though, "why not use this handy switch on my brand new panel instead of unplugging it?" BIG MISTAKE. While I was on vacation, one of the electricians came over to photograph the panel for the inspectors, and clearly he turned on all the switches, and left them on -- completely frying my hot tub pump for about 2K in damages. I discovered this when I got home. "What -- is that thing on? WTH!!!" The ugly. Though at first apologetic, the company became a bit confrontation and doubted my story. Yeah, sorry -- I've drained and deactivated that tub 20 times and never left it on. The dude turned it on while I was gone via the panel switch, and ruined it. Eventually they agreed to pay for a refurbished pump for about 1.2K, which seemed fair enough. HOWEVER, lo and behold, on inspection they found some oddities in the lower well pump switch that just HAPPENED to amount to the cost of the pump. Strange coincidence! They made the mistake of sending a contractor to do this extra work, and the guys eyes popped out when I told him what I was paying for the job. I don't want to get him in trouble, but he told me the work was probably worth more like 2-300. "Could've been better" is a perfect description of this overall experience. I have a top quality main panel. But I vastly overpaid for it, lacked my lovely hot tub for a month, and dealt with a bunch of unpleasant communications to try and get just compensation (which, as I note, got absorbed into the high fees).
